Maria, our server, was absolutely AWESOME —she picked the perfect beer flight for me, and everything she suggested was spot on. The Reuben burger was absolutely delicious, and I can't stop thinking about the peach and basil beer—it was such a unique and refreshing flavor. The hostess also gave us great recommendations for things to do while we’re in town. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!”

I grew up in New York City and have been familiar with Golden Krust for as long as I can remember. Honestly, in the city, I would mainly go just for their beef patties — they were good, but that was about it.

However, the Golden Krust in Poughkeepsie, New York, is a whole different experience! The food here is absolutely awesome — full of flavor, freshly made, and truly tasty. It’s not just about the patties anymore; everything I’ve tried has been on point. You can tell they take extra pride in their cooking here compared to other locations I've been to.

If you're anywhere near Poughkeepsie and craving real, delicious Caribbean food, this Golden Krust is definitely worth a visit. It's unlike any other Golden Krust I’ve ever been to!”

“This little Italian restaurant was a delightful surprise. We went there because it had favorable reviews. We found out that it is under new ownership as of approximately 9 months ago, late in 2024. Carlos, one of the co-owners, greeted us, cooked our food, and checked to see that everything was all right several times. He is clearly very interested in pleasing his customers.
My husband is Italian and gives the quality of the food and the expertise of its preparation high marks. We ordered two appetizers, Caesar salad and bruschetta. The Caesar salad was delicious and big enough to share. The bruschetta had wonderful flavors, was delightfully presented on a board and the thing I like the best was that the toast was not too hard to bite into.
Finally, for our meals I had a chicken parmesan sandwich which was a reasonably large portion, and my husband had lasagna. We both enjoyed every bit.
The food is prepared while you wait, so it is not fast food at all. He makes everything from scratch.
If you go in in, prepare to relax, enjoy your food and give Carlos greetings from us!
Ps. We are not related and we live in Florida, so we won't be able to go back right away. But we were visiting the area and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.”

“The food is actually amazing! Each dish tastes different than what you would expect but in a very good and unique way!! Their pumpkin soup 🎃 is literally so good (a must try) and their Jeyuk Bokkeum (Spicy pork stir fry) is soooo good 🥩. The spicy fried chicken is very very delicious too 🍗.

For dessert, the cream🍦 that comes with the Bungeoppang or Twisted Doughnut 🍩 is literally the BEST. MUST TRY.

Billy and his team were a well-oiled machine working there. They knew the venue in and out. They also knew what to recommend for us for the venue. The day of the wedding, Spice Catering ensured that we ate and that we always had drinks if we wanted them. They were flexible with us in determining if we keep the ceremony/cocktail hour inside/outside due to the weather forecast. They also had plenty of staff to greet guests as they entered and to serve our guests. Erick, our maître d', helped our day of coordinator set everything up, take everything down, and ensure the timeline was followed smoothly. Erick was amazing to work with and took the time to get to know my husband and I to best support us on our wedding day.
