Let me just say that this place has such a traditional Japanese vibe to it…the staff is warm and welcoming and the food was spectacular.
We had the ramen, both original and spicy and it was very delicious. We also had two Asahi beers and called it a day.
Overall, I will come back to this place more often.”

The restaurant staff show great professionalism They were warm, attentive, and welcoming, providing prompt service. The cocktails were strong but both tasty and refreshing. From the pizza to the tartare to the pasta, everything was freshly prepared and full of flavor. It’s literally nothing like authentic, freshly prepared pasta and they nailed it. Definitely high on my list of top Italian spots I have experienced.”

Great food, quite spicy though. The yogurt is nice with the toppings. Milk tea is the salty kind, need to get used to the taste.”

I live right down the block, I just moved here recently & I have to say 10/10! The smoothies are very fresh & I always get the mango,pineapple,banana smoothie & it never goes wrong. I didn’t try their popular noodle or dishes. Seaweed turns me off. It’s fishy. Cucumber is sweet and not my like. More vinegar and garlic will be better for me. The cutting of slice beef, tripe and pig ear was really good. I believe the bean product appetizer will be good.. I didn’t try the noodles. Maybe the next time.”

“Perfect little neighborhood gyro shop. We are frequent customers. Very residential area, quiet and relaxed. The food is great, it always tastes very fresh. Large portions. Our usual waitress Violetta is attentive, friendly, and wonderful. We live a block away and they are good neighbors and a wonderful addition to the community. Only drawback when visiting is that parking can be a challenge.”

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!”

“incredible hole in the wall for taiwanese vibes, we had the braised pork over rice and the beef noodle soup. the braised pork was my fave and beef noodle was sub-best but much more enhanced when adding pickle and hot sauce they provide, aaand it comes with a extra fresh noodle. combo comes with side dishes like karaage so good plus littlem pickled noodles it's a tiny five-seat counter, and you can watch the food freshly being made. amazing experience and food will be ack”

“First time ever in New York, had a 3 hour layover at Laguardia. Of course I wanted pizza. Lived up to NY's fine reputation of superior pizza. I got the classic, pan and two gigantic garlic rolls. “Located in front of Paris Baguette, the BBQ truck has some of the best skewers I've ever tried. They transport you to the heart of Xinjiang with its local flavors, grilled in front of you. My two favorites were the lamb and beef skewers, and the chicken skewers were also very delicious.”

“It was a group of 5 for dinner on a Saturday night and my second time. It was not too busy. We had make reservations, I expected for them to have us sit on the corner so it would be easier to talk to each other but they did not reserve those seats for us so that was a bummer. It was harder to talk when we are sitting all in one row. Some of the fish pieces were a bit fishy. Otherwise, our waiter was very attentive and made sure we were ok with the salt/spice level of the food. Our sushi chef also made sure our ginger was always refilled. I enjoyed my meal but it was not as good as our first time.”

“I wanted to LOVE LOVE and be super hype about my first time purchasing a cake from here but unfortunately it wasn't what I thought it was but I still give it a 4 stars because maybe it was my fault for misreading the description. I ordered the Red rosette cake apparently only sides were buttercream frosting but I assumed all of the icing would be buttercream . In our opinion ( and my fiances opinion, I bought it for his birthday) we found the red icing to be extremely bitter, no butter cream flavor whatsoever and the white part wasn't very sweet at all. We just didn't find the icing tasty at all but the inside was moist and the dulce de lece was a nice light flavor. I would say make sure you know for sure what you are ordering and ask to clarify to be sure . Other then that the cake was beautiful. I think the customer service could be more friendly but I understand business can make one be assertive at times. I also found it strange they didn't have a box big enough for the cake to properly cover it and we had to place it in the car open . Not used to that but hey, like I said beautiful cakes and clarify what you want to make sure they are on the same page with you with your expectations”

“We ordered for the first time tonight from Sammy, former proprietor of JuJu’s Bagels now transformed into El Toum. We ordered 4 items and they were ready for pickup in less than 25 minutes. The Mixed Kebab platter, Kofta Burger with fries, Falafel Sandwich with extra tahini sauce, and El Toum Appetizer were refreshingly homemade, tasted delicious, and proved outstanding bangs for the buck. More than enough food for a family of four with leftovers. This is a very welcome addition to a neighborhood missing this kind of fare. I highly recommend supporting this local business. Some of the best falafel and tabouli I’ve tasted in quite some time too!”

The chicken empanada was soft and warm, with the perfect texture not dry like other places. It was so fresh and flavorful, I couldn’t get enough! “The Jerk chicken platter and hot wings make this halal stand out compared to others. Always have to get one or the other. The fried fish is amazing as well. The Halal eats burger is fine dining quality.
The portions is outstanding for the price. Never been disappointed with any item.
There is a wait time for items that are not a platter due to being made fresh to order so be prepared for that.
I hope this place keeps its quality and stays open forever.

Parking: The store front is located on a corner with both sides being a no-standing bus stop. But it is Queens so of course if you’re just going to pick up the food it’s perfectly fine. But during busy times those spots may be taken which leads to parking all the way down by Dunkin’ Donuts or in the parking lot of Stop & Shop across the street.
I’be never had an issue but something to be aware of if you’re not from the area.”

“This is an amazing restaurant with great pricing. Their miso ramen is really flavorful and the ramen was cooked perfectly with a perfect chew. The egg has a creamy yoke, and I really like how they charred the chasu to enhance the flavour. I've been to so many other restaurants that don't do this and the char just adds a nice touch. The food came out really quick too and the service was really speedy. As soon as I started eating they took away our trash and wrappers and while we were eating they topped up our water when it was half empty. The restaurant is well designed too and fits the vibe of the food they serve.”

My chicken Pad Khing entree was fresh, flavorful, and not drowning in sauce, which has been my typical experience with similar dishes in other restaurants. Our server was personable, patient, and attentive. With good service, yummy food, and generous portions at very reasonable prices, this restaurant will be top of mind when I am looking for a casual dining place to Frequent with friends.”
