“A very good brewery hidden away in Rockaway. The decor may not be high end, but there is a pool table and a large indoor and outdoor seating area. I go to a brewery for good beer, and am not concerned about the prettiness of the brewery. The bartender, Dillon, gave great service and gave good pours. Very impressed with the service. Both of the IPA beers I am having are very good, the Rockaway IPA and the Hawaiian Pizza IPA. It is very good to note that they still serve beer in the 16 ounce glasses at $7 to $8 for a pint, and are not overcharging their customers at $9 or $10 for a 12 ounce pour. I say that if you are getting 25% less beer, then you should be getting charged 25% less, not more. That definitely adds a star to the rating. Is a six star rating available?“
“This is such a casual cool spot to chill, hang out, have a drink, and you are free to bring take-out food here from somewhere else. They have board games, card games, and so much outdoor and indoor space. The price is awesome and has a little something for everyone! I highly recommend.“
“Huge airplane hangar of a brewery and taproom. Lots of beers on tap that run the gamut of tastes and styles. There's a lot of active stuff happening around here and you can really get lost in the enormous culture surrounding this place. Small food plates are available and they seem to have food pop-ups as well. The other night I had a pizza during happy hour that cost a mere ten dollars. What a steal!“
“Fun brewery for board games, and watching the game. Came for a Sunday afternoon, place had a good crowd and seemed to have an event going on, bonsai tree pruning. Interesting I know…the beer was good, for sure would come back to check out the bingo or events they host.Also big plus for being in Astoria ? probably my favorite place in Queens.Staff were nice, walk up order a beer and sit anywhere. Chill. Food options limited, they recommend ordering delivery from nearby restaurants.“
“Real good neighborhood brewery. When it’s nice weather, they have pop-up taco on the side. Also good place to grab a to-go cup, and listen to some nice live music across the street. Has indoor area too, but outside with nice weather is where you want to sit“
“Went here for the pokemon show called Poke Ebbs hosted by sasuke zilla. The place was very clean and spacious the event was nice and amazing and had a great crowd. Zilla told us about the food where we ordered the chicken sandwich and it was very scrunches. Best food I've had in awhile ! Def come here for dinner and a good time !! Steve was also so nice ! Greatest bar tender in the world !“

“Such an amazing and welcoming atmosphere. The owners were such laid back chill people. They educated us on how they make their kombucha. Definitely made with passion. A must try! We left with kombucha to stock our fridge. Also they now are offering food and it was to die for. “Love and highly recommend this place. The sake is delicious and approachable for sake newbies, the staff is super knowledgeable and passionate, and the vibe is chill and dog friendly. The brewery tour is a fantastic deal (it includes a few drinks) and super informative—they explain the process so well that by the end of the tour you’re left with clear ideas about how sake is made and various factors to look at when identifying sakes.“

“Enjoying a brew after the beach, they have a great selection and variety of in house brews! Super cool space, friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere with music and people’s conversations. “I don’t know what this Celina’s problem is but barrier rocks. And as a 30 something year old I can say one of the main reasons I love barrier is because the music is never too loud for conversation. Beers are great and bar tenders are all super friendly and attentive. Food is also delicious! It’s bar food lady go to Gordon Ramsey if you want a 5 star meal.“
“Neighborhood gem and dog friendly! Original Finback Brewery location. They have a rotating selection of stuff on tap and to-go. They offer small and regular pours of stuff on tap. There are picnic style tables and high tops on barrels. There's also some Finback merchandise for sale.Recently got a fridge that displays 4 packs and bottles for sale. At the bar, they have a menu that describes their drink options in depth.They have delicious food pop-ups and when there's no food pop-ups, they have a list of places they recommend for local delivery. There is free residential street parking.5/5. Highly recommend.“
“I've been going here since it opened and have never been disappointed FANTASTIC beer, great service...nice food truck outside. Constantly getting new beers to try. Definitely a great pace to be a regular. hey also sell their beer CANNED so you can just come in try some beer and walk out with some great stuff to share with friends at home.“
“Didn't know there was a brewy in the bronx. Nice cozy place to have a temaste of the local beer. I was on a bike ride and this was our final destination. The father and son bbq was a pop-up, once the food ran out that was it. They had good food, the brewy doesn't have food and they are open at a certain time. I would suggest some heaters if the bay door is going to be open. I will definitely be going to back to try some of there other beers. Maybe catch a game.“
“Amazing sour beers and a fun vibe! There’s indoor seating, the bar, and picnic tables outside as well. At some point they were going to open the roof but I wasn’t able to see if they ever did. Great drinks and pop up foods on the weekends“
“Came here tonight and surprise- it was trivia night! How cute!! Layout is small and a little wonky so if you want to be in on the action + have plenty of opportunities to socialize, I recommend sitting towards the front near the bar! Unfortunately I came around 8:30 and trivia was fully in-swing so the only seats were in the back sort of away from everyone. One of the things that struck me right as I came in was how welcoming the crowd felt and the amount of queer folks I saw. Definitely felt right at home pretty immediately.My partner and I ended up ordering a flight of beers to share. You get your selection of any 4 beers on tap for just $20. My partner then ordered the burger and fries and I ordered a selection of 4 empanadas (2 chopped cheese, 1 Korean pork, and 1 vegan esquites). My empanadas were delicious although I didn't care for the esquites one as much as the other three. My partners burger and fries came out cold unfortunately but I was told it had good flavor.Overall, a decent spot if you like beer and activities!“

“The beer is amazing here. I am usually a fan of stouts and I absolutely loathe sours; however, I love trying everything. My friend and I finally made it to Evil Twin on the last day of our trip. I had the Irish Coffee Stout, which was so smooth, and my friend had the Evil Fusion Winter Edition Sour Ale. I reluctantly tried her beer and was blown away. I have never had such a smooth and delicious sour. The flavor is complex and wonderful. All beer lovers should flock to this place.“
