This is a really great snack if you're in the area! Perfect for sharing too. One order was good enough for the 5 of us (2 per person). Plus they also have little plastic chairs on the sidewalk to sit and enjoy your food!
We ordered some dahi puchka and regular pani puri puchka, with 4 cups of chai. Everything tasted great and the guy who served us was friendly, but I'm taking a point off for hygiene. In one of my puchka, I found a piece of hair. I didn't make a big deal about it. But I wished they wore a hair net to prevent that from happening again in the future. Still amazed how quickly the food came out and the fact that the owner was running from his 1st truck to a 2nd truck to serve customers is incredible. Food was simply 11/10, vegetarian friendly, super delicious, fresh and for the price you get quite a lot. One of the best street food spots in NYC.
