The food here made me sick. The lobster bisque was old and stale. Even my cocktail had a bunch of floaters which the bartender said was pulp from the pineapple can. I used to bartend and can say I never saw "pulp" that looked as if you had dumped a bag of dirt in it.

I went to celebrate my wedding anniversary and they treated my wife and I like royalty. However I was underwhelmed with the food, personally. The lobster bisque had an abundance of fresh lobster, but it didn't have the flavor I was craving in a bisque. The same went for the scallops, which sounded very good but didn't quite meet my expectations. Overall, this is a great restaurant for it's proximity to Broadway, but the food left something to be desired.
Sent family to HFC because unfortunately I couldn't join them and I've heard wonderful things throughout the years. I'm in hospitality myself and I wouldn't send anyone to a place I didn't properly vet first. My family had a wonderful time and were absolutely floored by the service ! Glad to know my industry folk were looking out :)

I sat down at the bar, and waited a couple of minutes for someone to take my order.As im trying to get someone’s attention, a couple sits down next to me and were immediately greeted and asked what they wanted.I got up and left.The cocktail i wanted to order was $23.I got wendys instead.

We were 3 women celebrating a birthday. I indicated that on my reservation. We were greeted warmly and our coats were taken. We were led to a table in a great location. There was a personal hand-written card to the birthday person which was lovely. The ambience of the bar and room has an air of sophistication which is very welcome in a NY restaurant. The service and food were beyond excellent. The popovers were the best we had ever had and we each had a different meal ranging from the salads to the pasta to the fish and chicken. The dessert was served with a Happy Birthday message written in chocolate. In our excitement of leaving and getting to the theater on time, we left behind a small gift bag. I checked my phone at intermission and there was a text from the restaurant through Open Table that they were holding it for us. We went back after the show and picked it up. Thank you, Open Table and Hunt and fish Club, for stellar service. We had a wonderful experience and we will be back.
Celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday here and everything was absolutely amazing. The staff managers host and servers were welcoming, beautiful and made sure her night was absolutely special and one to remember. The food was exquisite the presentation was phenomenal. And the views were breathtaking. Also our service was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations on food and drinks . The bartenders drinks were perfection . The managers were so very nice and engaging. We absolutely had a great time at hunt and fish.

Food and atmosphere was exceptional,the service was perfect and everyone was very accommodating due to the rain and umbrellas and coat's being checked by hostess. Would definitely recommend and plan to return.

Ali was the most kind server I think I’ve ever had. I was coming down sick and very much needed a good meal and a lot of hot tea. I was there February 18, 2024 and Ali explained to the chef how I was feeling and needed special adjustments to menu due to gluten allergy and wanting a special item. All the staff was super amazing but Ali was running back in fourth for my constant need for hot tea. Their care made a huge difference in making me feel better and not get full blown sick for the cough I was starting to have.Ali deserves huge praise from management and the company!Thank you so much!!!

A wonderful dinner! Exceeded our expectations. We had a very personable and knowledgeable waiter, great location, spacious table and unbelievable food!! We will definitely be back.
lovely experience! we went on a monday night so it wasn't too busy or loud which was lovely. all the staff were friendly and approachable - Nova was really sweet and assisting! the bread they give you is delicious, but as are the drinks and the food. The tasting portions of pasta are a perfect size for a main, and definitely try the mashed potato (the best we have ever had!). The swordfish was cooked perfectly, and tasted delicious.

Very nice everybody who worked there was very pleasant greeted me once I walked in didn't wait long at all reservations was at 8:30 was seated no more than 5 minutes after . Music was lit

Arrive Early and sat at the bar. Bartender was amazing. He recommended something for my wife and I. Service was quick and attending. Food was incredible! My wife had a small issue with her steak not being "Well Done" enough for her. They could not be more understanding and correcting her issue. After the second attempt to have it "Well Done" for her liking. Please note this is my wife's thing. Not the restaurant's. It always happens to her. She is just very particular with her food. They refused to cook it a third time. They wanted to give her a completely new steak. Or a different meal. Very Nice of them. She choose the chicken and offered me some. It was "Out of this world!" and I had the stuffed lobster which was perfect. After the meal the manager introduced herself and again apologized. She even gave us her business card and told us to call her directly next time we want a table. A Must to if you are in the city.

Everything was very nice from the minute we walked in.....checking in...the bar....Service was wonderful!! Food was all delicious! Didn't get a chance to have dessert as we had to head out for a show.....so we will certainly be back!

H&F was an overall decent experience. The service and bar area ambiance were great. The main dining is nice, and our server was prompt. Food wasn't memorable but the drinks were strong. I would recommend this place if you're open to exploring new experiences.
