Came for an early lunch and there was no wait. We were seated right away and our waiter, Ernesto, explained how everything works. The conveyor belt was consistently replenished. Whatever wasn't readily available on the conveyor belt was easily ordered from the tablet and came rather quickly. There was a good variety of sushi options. The quality of the sushi is ok. Not the best sushi you can get in NYC but still fine. Overall, a fun experience!

Love Kura sushi. Super excited to try this new Kura that opened up. This place is definitely much smaller than the other ones but the sushi is very fresh. They have the same layout with the check in at the front, robot to bring the drinks, and revolving sushi that wraps around all the tables. I went a few weeks ago and there was no wait basically and there were not many staff. Mostly the robot bringing out the drinks and check out can be done on the kiosk by the table. Overall the prices are pretty reasonable, the sushi was fresh and we service was decent

Not really a fan of this place anymore . I used to come here a lot and the service was great and so was the food, but last night, the experience was off. I went with my boyfriend around 7:20 PM & we were sat. There were literally no choices on the conveyer belt, and we had no one checking up on us. The vibe was rlly off & no one even asked if we wanted refills of our drinks or anything like that. I asked the waiter for a bowl of rice and he looked super confused.. i don't think it was a trick question. But anyways, we're not coming here again, there's better sushi places in the area!

Loved the sushi and the Spy Family decor. Shout outs to our server Jimmy for making our time there much more memorable.

I have been to a couple different locations and was so happy when the Flushing location opened. Food was very fresh and Jimmy was very attentive. I recommend using the app to join the waitlist and earn points + rewards!

A very inefficiently run restaurant due to not having a good bussing process. I saw 5+ tables at a time where people finished eating but there were leftover plates/cups for around 15 minutes. A single waiter would walk around to each of these tables and carry whatever they could, probably 2 bowls and 2 cups, walk to the back to drop them off and come back. A typical restaurant would have a guy with a tub on top of a cart where they quickly go to each table and throw all the cups/plates in before moving on to the next. They could easily clear 5 tables of cups/bowls in 2 minutes but instead take about 15 minutes. This leads to an incredibly inefficient experience where they are only able to leverage 70% of their seating capacity at a given time. With about 5-6 tables empty, there was a line out the door waiting due to the inefficient busing process. It's ridiculous how revolving sushi restaurant which doesnt require as much attention from servers and has robots send out drinks is completely operationally bottlenecked. Next, their lineup process is completely illogical. You first sign in on a tablet and begin waiting outside (line #1). Once you get the text message saying to come, you then need to find the host (line #2) and tell him you got the text. He will update your entry to say "arrived" on his tablet, then you have to get on the real line (line#3). So you essentially have 3 separate queueing processes all the while half the people don't even know which line to be a part of. Noone knows what's going on, it is a free for all, and the workers are just as confused. If not for the brand power of Kura, this restaurant would be dead.

Overrated. Line was long - about 75 minutes on a Saturday night. Food quality was average at best. Overall cleanliness is average, the plate slot is a somewhat dirty and messy system. Fairly expensive for very average food quality. The tempura shrimp was good and freshly made, sushi items were all average.

Kura is a fun concept to stop at when you're craving sushi in Flushing. It allows you to pace your eating and leave whenever you feel content. The quality of the fish is on par with your average takeout sushi spots. Service is great. Jimmy was attentive and considerate. The shrimp was a little fishy and he brought a new one no questions asked.

I like the set up with the single chairs for people like me who like to go eat sushi randomly it was perfect. It was clean. You can throw your trays right in there. You can order everything on the screen that you want and the people was nice and the sushi was good I will definitely be back.

Will NEVER come here again. Ridiculous food quality - look at the photo. This is what we got (no kidding). The chef really decided to send this plate out with that missing salmon piece(small corner of salmon). Might as well not put it on at that point. This is ridiculous. I asked for them to remake but even then, the salmon was essentially non existent. All the other sushi I ordered, the slice of fish was so tiny, extremely thin sliced. It's like half a bite. The service really depends. Our server was nice. However, the front desk server was a bit rude in terms of his tone. Another negative factor was their conveyor belt is essentially empty. I would say 70% empty so the experience of grabbing sushi as they rotate don't exist. (Which is supposed to be their selling point?!) they also don't look appealing. I just order from their iPad screen which is weirdly inconveniently position. Their udon with tempura was probably the best item on the menu. I rarely leave a Yelp review but I just had to for this place.
