Fantastic! Super tasty, fairly affordable, and nice tables out front (but no bathroom or inside seating - however grab a coffee from next door and have best of both worlds!)

Small, authentic Japanese grocery store. And they helped me with a dish I was working on based on the fresh ingredients available at the store!

everything was so fresh and high quality!! J really loved the salmon roe and you need to get negi toro roll and their fruit mochi!!!!❣️ it was the best!! it was fun to shop there since they have wide variery of japanese groceries! I think I'll visit often more?

This place has the freshest takeout sushi i have ever tried. They were limited in their foods at around 5 pm since it is pretty popular. I had the spicy salmon roll and it was delish! I also like the overall store choices, they had japanese snacks and different kinds of matcha. Also had your typical japanese pantry items so they had a really good selection - also found in my latest vlog!https://youtu.be/agl3454XPjY

Fatty tuna roll was incredible. Bought a 5 pound bag of organic brown rice and totally noticed a difference in quality, worth the price!

Fresh seafood, lots of specialty, local condiments and food from Japan. Their sushi rice bowls are so good!! And the staff here are super friendly and welcoming :)Coming from Tokyo, we’re so spoiled to live nearby and not have to feel homesick!

Good selection of Japanese grocery and snacks. Short walk from 7 train for convenience

Amazing quality uni!

The quality of the sashimi is very good and comparable to that served at Tsukiji and high-end restaurant in Japan. The fact that such foods are available at a delicatessen in New York City is valuable. The unusually high review ratings are not arbitrarily manipulated, as you will see when you try it!

Well curated Japanese groceries, selection of sushi, sashimi, grilled fish, and bento boxes. My favorites are their Wagyu burger and Chirashi dons

I was there for 3 times. Everytime I bought the triangle rice. They are very yummy and cheap (compare to other items in the store). I also bought the salmon and eggs bento. It was really good. I bought once for my teenager daughter who is a picky eater, she likes the bento too.I also tried other bentos from the store (treats of others), they were all yummy.I saw uni in the store. I wanted to buy but they were in big pack. Wish the store can offer smaller pack in the future.

This is a beautiful, high-end Japanese market with all sorts of goodies like fancy strawberries and melons, boxes of uni, chirashi bowls, etc. My rating is really only for the tuna mayo onigiri I bought for $2.75+tax--I had high hopes because it's a dedicated Japanese market and everything looked amazing but the rice was unseasoned; it was one of the blandest onigiri I've ever had. Unfortunately the ratio was mostly rice, too :(

I love the foods especially a lunch box and beef and also many more snack and food material. But the cashier is not polite especially I saw someone carrying a child's stroller difficulty getting out and they didn't help open the door just look and still chat with other. Maybe next more empathy and help people who need to be helped. Thankyou!

Amazing little spot in long Island city. I stopped by and grabbed some sushi for myself and a chicken bowl for my daughter. Needless to say she loved it. I surprised her at school for her lunch period. She was shocked and happy. Thanks MOGMOG!
