“This is a 2 visit review. Both times the food was great. I’d recommend the loaded fries and the fish tacos. They were both delicious. The margaritas are pretty good also, slightly on the sweeter side but still worth a try (I like mine more tart). The bartender accidentally gave us chicken nachos & to accommodate, brought us a side of the steak to put on top. The staff was very welcoming & kind even before the mixup. It seemed to just be 2 people working the floor but they did a great job even with a full bar of customersKid-friendliness: There’s a kid menu“

“Yummy Tamales!!I had the Adobo tamal and Raja Pollo tamal. I also had champurrado, but I would not recommend it because it taste like straight up flour and water with a pinch of chocolate in which you do not taste (please improve the recipe). I say this with much love ?“

“I have been a customer with Eggstravaganza on Park Ave and E52nd St for years and I was so excited to see that they have a location by Sunnyside while I was visiting a friend and I insisted to order from this spot! They had a buy 1 get 1 deal, I ordered the Mexican Wrap and chocolate chip pancakes with eggs and bacon, they were so delicious just like the city location! Pancakes were fluffy, bacon was crispy, eggs were over medium like I requested, not over cooked or undercooked. Wrap is huge and stuffed with yumminess! It has chorizo, eggs, potatoes, peppers and onions, a great mix. I will definitely reorder from this place next time I visit my friend! Unfortunately, we devoured most of the plate and then remembered to write this review so we have no photos of the food ?Everyone! Hurry and take advantage of the buy 1 get 1 deal! You’ll fall in love?“

“The food was tasty, beef in beef quesadilla was a bit tough but other than that the food was overall good. Quantity was larger than I thought. The restaurant is casual and nothing fancy but the server was really sweet and I enjoyed the experience.“

“The store has minimal indoor seating but the food is really good. It's more of a take-out spot. We ordered 3 tacos for taco Tuesdays. We got mushroom al pastor, carnitas, and bistec and chorizo. The bistec and chorizo has such a good flavor but the meat was SO tough. The mushroom al pastor was my favorite of them all. They do have outdoor seating just not indoor.“

“I been looking for a store like this for a long time. They have them all over LA. I didn't get the candy fruit things, I purchased the ramen esquite & the Tostito ceviche. Both were good, the ramen esquite is pretty much cup of noodles with esquite on top. I like both so I figured it was a good combo. I like it, I would put more seasoning next time but it's good. The ceviche was really good & SPICYYYY!!! The service was good they were nice but it did take long. I would go back to try some other items.“

“When they first opened, I ordered a shrimp burrito through UberEats. It was nothing exciting, I didn't even consider reordering. Cut to, a couple years later, a friend and I looking around for something to eat. We decided against literally everything else on Parsons. Looking in their window, he saw they had birria tacos and wanted to try. We usually get tacos from Maya Taco down on Jamaica, but didn't feel like taking the walk. When we went in, the counter woman was wiping down the dining area. When this space was a chicken spot, there was more seating and front room space. Now the dining area consists of a low counter facing the picture window. Maybe they needed more kitchen space. They sell canned soda and Jaritos. They also have fresh lemonade, Jamaica and horchata in counter top juice dispensers. There was no one else inside when we went in, but as soon as we started looking over the menu, so many delivery drivers came in to pick up orders! We got a couple birria, a chorizo, shrimp and a chicken tacos. Everything was ridiculously flavorful. We enjoyed the taste so much that we immediately ran out for a couple more birria. The birria tacos don't come with consommé. Which is odd to me. They do come with a green or red salsa and a guacamole sauce. The guac sauce is completely tasteless. The pepper sauces are savory and spicy but not inedible. Homemade Taqueria has become my go-to spot for tacos. I've also had their beef and chicken empanadas. The chicken was good, beef was a little off. I haven't tried the rest of the menu, but it looks promising.“

“Let's just say this place has a 5 star rating for a reason. ALL the tacos are stellar but my favorite is the brisket (sudadero) - it is the most delicious brisket, wow. Tried the quesadilla this past time and it's sooo gooood, pretty large so it will fill you up! And keep in mind it does get to be a bit greasy but if you're in the mood for that, it will 100% satisfy that craving. I also love the workers there, the main woman at the front is always SO nice and attentive :) it's a small place so not great for big groups, but definitely eat inside if you can!! (They bring out chips and salsa for dine-in) ;)“
