This place can honestly never get it right. I feel like it’s always a miss. In this instance, I came in for two cheese empanadas. The girl explained only one was left (not surprised, this restaurant is always out of something) and I said I’ll take the one. I get home and the empanada is not even a cheese empanada, it’s something sweet like a sweet potato etc type of empanada. I was charged 3+ for this one that wasn’t even correct. As I stated, this place can never get it right.

First time here tonight. I ordered the small oxtail. The server told me $7, but it was actually $7.95 plus tax, so $8.66. My mom said it was tasty. That's what people want when buying food tasty and affordable! If you ever brought oxtail, especially from a Jamaican restaurant, you know it cost an arm and a leg. I would try a meal here one day.

Delicious food and you get generous portions. I have been going here since they opened and food quality has not waned. Staff is friendly and helpful. Home cooked meals that always satisfies!

I tried this place out recently and liked the food but they charged me extra for pork chops without telling me it’s extra even though all turkey food is laid out in the same place, then charged me extra for sitting down to eat- took about 7 minutes? Total extra fees came out to $5 so the $9 lunch special was $14+So don’t dine in and ask if your food costs extra!

I went this morning to buy a sandwich, a smoothie and a juice. To start, the smoothie was given to us hot (the cashier said there was no ice... but she told me after I went to complain, when she should have said it as soon as we ordered it), and when I see the juice it had A WORM. I go to the cashier to tell them to give me a refund because it is impossible to drink or eat something in that place after that experience. They didn't give it to me because the manager “wasn't there.” HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HORRIBLE ATTENTION.

Today I bought every kind of empanadas. The beef was very tasty. The chicken was ok. Shrimp I did not like too much but the cheese empanadas were RANCID how can they have rancid empanadas at noon? Rhe cheese empanadas were hollow as well with nothing but a little taste of cheese The empanadas are $3 each and are very greasy.

My ex bought me a Cuban sandwich for this spot and it was excellent ! Pork was juicy and seasoned perfectly. Look forward to trying some other food from the menu.

The cost of the food doesn't match the portion size; it feels overpriced. Alongside this, the dish was excessively salty, making it hard to enjoy. It's crucial for them to either enhance the quality of their dishes or reconsider their pricing strategy. Asking for over $10 for a small container with merely a few meat pieces seems like an unreasonable demand for such a limited offering. A better balance between portion size and pricing would significantly improve the overall experience for customers.

The food is subpar. Nothing to jump up and shout about. Honestly, I am not surprised because this neighborhood has always had subpar restaurants in it. IJS. I had breakfast which is actually better than the lunch/dinner. That truly lacks flavor. I had better box Spanish rice than what they produce. Their rice has no flavor. The mac and cheese is also bland. The food looks flavorful but it is not. I also had codfish cakes that were dry, tough and flavorless. I would have given them a 2 1/2 * if I could. I do like their mangu and fried cheese. But who can mess that up. Lol

Place is easy to find with good food choices. Service is fast and price is just right. The thing is they have a small space for dining. So far everything else is great :)

Decided to try this new place for a simple 2 egg platter with home fries. The WORST breakfast I had in a long time . Who can mess up a 2 egg platter. The potatoes were soggy with a bad taste, not fresh at all. Who can mess up fried eggs? This place. I give them two just because the girl who took my order wasn’t bad.

At first I was happy that a Latin place open in my neighborhood. But after visiting few times...I hate it. I hate the service. I hate the small portion (a lot of rice and very little meat). I hate the price. Food is decent but pricey for this neighborhood. Will not be going back.

This is a Dominican restaurant that has home cooked style food. It is newer place that opened earlier this year. It is a cozy place with just a handful of tables. They sell pretty much any plate that you can think of. Stewed meat, mofongo, mondongo, pork chops, roast chicken, and much more with your choice of rice and beans or plantains of course. They also serve an American style breakfast and Mexican food, but I have yet to try any of those yet. I have had several plates of the Dominican food though and can assure you that it is good and authentic quality at good prices.
