Wish there was more meat and filling. Not exactly an authentic shaobing, but flavors are okay. I wasn’t too big of a fan compared to authentic shaobing that I’ve tried elsewhere but it’s a good $5 snack.

Wanted to try out these buns! We got two different types (one was the 3 meat one and the other was the vegetarian/vegetable one — honestly forgot the name but I believe it had chives or spinach and egg). It was super flavorful and I would def get it again!

Cumin lamb filling was great, but the crust didn’t feel fresh unfortunately. Maybe would be better if we took it home to airfry.

This is a northern style flaky "cookie". I love it for the crust. The crust makes it different from buns and other pork boa. I really enjoy the texture and the juiciness from the meat. Had a variety of them, lamb, black pepper and mixed meats and it was all really good. This shop is in a mini food area; the same one as Joe's stream rolls. There's only 1 lady that works there. She works hard, takes order and makes the flakey meatiness goodness in front of you! It's not pricey either, around $4 each for a filling snack or meal, because it's dense and not tiny.

Found inside the Landmark Quest Mall, Yukun Shaobing is a quick eats stall with an exceptional menu of items. The shaobing were piping hot and were actively being made as we were ordering. They do not have any designated seats within the food hall, so you might need to walk around outside or find some nearby public seating. The cumin lamb shaobing has spectacular flavor with a little bit of spice.

This tiny food stall at the Landmark Quest Mall on Roosevelt Avenue is a hidden gem of Flushing! I tried the Lamb Cumin Shaobing and it was delicious! They even have space for sitting to enjoy the meal. The food was prepared earlier so not hot. I asked her to heat it up for me which she gladly did and it was ready very fast! It was the right amount of juicy and flavorful, without being so juicy or oily that it drips on you when you eat. That’s the perfect balance! I’m so glad I tried this. Now I know another great spot in Flushing!

I had a bad experience. My shaobing was cold and had little to no meat. Ate it right in the stall next to it the Joe steam rice roll. Disappointing.

Mo and I split a black pepper beef shaobing and it was seriously delicious. Crispy, savory, hot, and comforting. All for $4!! The bun was pretty stuffed for $4 so it's a great value. Service was quick but there is 0 seating for this shop. Would 100% come again and will be coming back here before we head back to The Bay.

The bread and filling of these bings is so so good. Flaky dough with flavorful juicy fillings! Highly recommend the lamb and the peppered beef

If you like Empanadas, Jamaican Patties, Ukrainian Chebureki.. then you will also LOVE the Chinese baked baos (Shao Bing) made and sold here. They have a picture menu, but I definitely recommend the Pepper Beef Shaobings. It's awesome!

Probably one of my new favorite foods. Various types of meat and veggies stuffed into a flaky crispy pastry all for about $4-5 each. I got the hot cumin lamb and one of the best things I've eaten. Mine was extremely juicy on the inside almost like a xiaolongbao, surprisingly filling too. I def recommend eating it hot for best taste.
