We come here at least once a week in the morning. The fresh Hong-Kong style buns never fail to lift our spirits. Among our favorites are the custard bun, sweet bun, and ham & cheese bun.

After hearing about this place that it had the best HK style egg tarts in Queens, I definitely wanted to try it out. It's definitely out of the way from Flushing downtown, but we luckily was able to find a metered parking space. This place is highly touted as the owner was the former pastry chef at Mandarin Oriental HK. It was an inconvenient drive from Flushings Chinatown, by the time we arrived most of the popular pastries were gone. Thankfully there were a few of the signature egg tarts remaing. It was as good as advertised: very rich & buttery. It was not as airy or puffy compared to lets say Golden Gates at SF. Unfortunately the black sesame egg white tart was all sold out.
