I've eaten pad Thai from other establishments and Tamarind Thai, hands down, has the best Pad Thai. The staff are nice but I would not say they move with any great pace not are they really trained. More of family vibe going on. The food was prepared well but was a bit on the bland side. “I grew up in the Lansingburgh area so I've known about Verdiles for many years. For those that do not know Verdiles, it is a family run restaurant and back when they first started it was their mother who made the pasta sauce and meatballs. Her recipes are still used today. I love going there, the staff is very warm and welcoming. Everyone is treated like family. The atmosphere reminds me of a 1960's Italian restaurant. They have made many updates and changes to the restaurant but it still has that vibe. I love looking at all the pictures of the Verdiles family that are around the restaurant. I recommend their homemade pasta with your meal. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. You can't go wrong.“

“Wow, I'm Italian and felt like my grandmom was in the back cooking. Everything had was amazing! Lidia, the co-owner, waited on us. She took the time to talk with us and made us feel truly special. Only problem was that I ate too much because everything was so good. We started with the special olive oil dip and bread. I would normally never mention this, but it was amazing, enjoyed sharing the roasted red peppers salad with my spouse. Sooo good! I had the Chicken/eggplant Parmesan combination. Amazing! Amy, my spouse, had the Chicken Milanese. She loved it! We had enough for leftovers for the next day and I can't believe that it tasted even better the next day! “I came on a friday and ordered a fish and chips. Fish tasted very fresh. Only thing I could recommend is draining the oil a little bit longer so the fish at the bottom don't get soggy. The fries were good. Mac salad was okay. Pricing was great for the amount of food I received and service was fast. Wasn't a deal breaker for me but the restaurant does only accept cash so make sure you have cash on hand to avoid atm fees. Servers were very nice as well! Would definitely come back if in the area.“
