Service was great, drinks were great, food was great. But please don’t order the $48 wagyu skirt steak. My jaw is gonna be in recovery for the next week with how much I had to chew tonight. Toughest steak I’ve ever had.
The burger and "war-style" potatoes here are genuinely top-tier. I would put the burger here above Au Cheval's and would seriously consider coming back out here to Ridgewood for it. The "war-style" spicy sesame sauce was a novel unexpected flavor bomb that we liked so much we ordered a second portion. I’ve been coming to Rolo’s since they first opened and they really never disappoint. The food just gets better and better. Everything is amazing but my hands down favorite is the shrimp.
