Location is very nice, however the host was rude to us, treating us as a burden because a larger reservation was coming in. Turns out that larger reservation was us, and they got the books wrong. So that was fun. Would go back if that hostess wasn't working. Very standoffish.
Drive too fast and you'll miss it.Sherwood House is on the south side of Main Road as you head east, just before you enter Jamesport. An unassuming structure, it seems like a residence so it's easy to miss.Off to the side, it alga's some modest outdoor seating as well as on a deck on the other side of the building. I didn't love any of the wines, except the sparkling blanc de blanc (first of the tasting) and the Cabernet franc (fourth of the tasting) but the place itself is very nice. We enjoyed the outdoor seating in the sun and there were several cute rooms in the house-like structure to choose from if you wanted to stay indoors.
