As nearly always, the food was excellent. The citron is a go-to dish I that never fails to please. The ahi tuna was delicious, cooked perfectly, and huge. The mussels were tasty, plump, and numerous.
We had dinner at Max's of Eastman Place before attending an RPO concert. The service was excellent, the dinner was great. My favorite part of this restaurant is that fact that it is quiet. We were with another couple and had no problem talking with them without raising our voices. Not only that but we did not hear the converstios from the other tables. What a pleasant evening.

This was our second trip in a week and while we normally would would broaden our ordering, our entrees were so good a few days earlier we ordered them again and once more the ahi tuna (Max always does a fantastic job with fish) and the citron were absolutely excellent so a good choice in our part.
