“We came from Buffalo to eat..unmatched cuisine! We are currently in the restaurant and I'm considering moving in.lol.. Best lasagna, meatballs & homemade pasta I've ever had. Highly suggest.”
“A very cozy, chic and family-run restaurant with a great view of the lake. The food tastes delicious and the dishes are very nicely prepared. The service is very warm, committed and full of competence. The menu is full of traditional delicious Turkish dishes. I'll definitely be back?”
“Enjoyed an excellent meal last night with my wife. Berry salad was the perfect starter. Lobster ravioli with white wine cream sauce and langoustine lobster tails was scrumptious. I had the cioppino special and the broth was spiced just right for dipping with the garlic bread pieces. Clams, calamari, and mussels were tender and tasty. Salmon was a nice addition. We let our server make several wine choices that we enjoyed. Service was excellent and attentive. Pistachio cake dessert was a nice finish. We will return soon to try the honey lemon scallops and several of the shareables.Highly recommended!”
“Service was wonderful and the atmosphere was casual. Both the gyoza and shumai are delicious fried pillows filled with pork mixture and shrimp mixture? Signature Rolls (raw) the King of the Ocean was our favorite and highly recommend!!! Signature Rolls (cooked) Honey Roll was our favorite and both the Snow White and Coconut were tied in second and highly recommend!!!? Thank you Youkoso Sushi?”

“My favorite is Strangebird Lite Lager! We had Pepperoni Pizza, it's not you're average Pepperoni Pizza, it had ricotta, chili's, Pepperoni and truffle honey. it was delicious! I highly recommend Strangebird.”

“I ordered food from today and without thinking I said wow (out loud) when I had the first bite. The food here is absolutely divine. I am so glad I drove from Buffalo for it. Also, the service here is amazing! I will be coming back for more every chance I get.”

“food was great and so was dessert, but my waiter Rae was the sweetest treat of all! so friendly and helpful and hilarious might i add. would give 6 stars if i could ??????”
“Edit to my original review: we are here eating tonight at BTB. Our server, Emily, was very friendly! She helped us get an appetizer for the table and our drink order settled. The food was delicious ? we got an order of Poutine, a classic cheeseburger and the buffalo chicken quesadillas. We also got two kids menu options for our girls. They ate it all up! I am super thankful to Matt for helping us navigate our way back to this restaurant. We will come back! Our server, Salina, was kind and attentive. She helps us navigate through our requests as many of the things we wanted were unavailable. The Cajun Chicken Pasta and bland and spicy. Almost inedible. Settled for the fried dough bites, and they were just air- no doughy. Will try again and make safer choices next time.”

“Absolutely great. From the people, to the design, to the food; of course. We had not been before last night which was a shame as I guess we stick to our normal places too much. But from the moment we walked in, every staff member was a absolute delight.Scott our waiter was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We started with the REDD Wings. They are Thai Chili coated with sesame seeds and spring onions. They were perfectly cooked with an amazing crunch. We couldn't have been more happy with the perfect balance of sweet and heat, and the decadent flavor.Personally I was torn between two specials, and the classic steak on offer on the regular menu. The one special was basically a comfort food; the classic beer battered fish fry, which ultimately Scott recommended since it was a special that is only available during Lent. This choice was amazing. He was right in that it was a basic fish fry, but elevated. The fish was tender and flaky, with a perfect beer battered shell that had a great crunch. The fries were great and handcut with a pillowy softness to them, but the tartar sauce was absolutely killer. And while the fish fry was an absolute stand out on its own; that tartar sauce just pushed it to the stratosphere! Get this if you see it on their menu.My wife got the Wild Fluke with Clams. The presentation of the dish was amazing, with a creamy sauce, tender clams, a flaky fish, and a rice base that absolutely was creamy and delicate holding onto the sauce. She usually sticks to basics, but went off her beaten path, and she was glad she did.For drinks we tried a couple of their specialty ones. My wife had the spicy margarita which was amazingly complex, and not too spicy. But it is a back of the throat spice if that sort of thing bothers you. I had the Negroni which was great as well. I've found you can tell a bartenders skill based on how well blended their Negroni is, and this one was masterfully crafted. Before I get to the deserts, their desert spoons have what seem to be a dent in them. It's supposed to be there. It's a French Sauce/Desert spoon that is supposed to allow the sauce or glaze of a desert enter the spoon without having to tip it too far and lose your bite on the utensil. Also, you may notice a small fork with a thick tine on it. That's a desert/pastry fork. The thicker tine is meant to replace you having to use a knife to cut the cake or pastry. The more you know. For desert was the decadent chocolate cake for my wife. It was rich and creamy with a scoop of ice cream. Great stuff. I had the Sticky Toffee Pudding which was fantastic as well, with the same requisite scoop of ice cream. So, after all that, just to once again say, this restaurant and it's food and people are well worth the visit. If you haven't been due to sticking with your normal haunts, you owe it to yourself to try it. Or, if you just only do a nice yearly sit down for a special occasion, make it here. After my friends and family all raving about REDD, I just wish my wife and I had tried it sooner.”
“I'm a bariatric patient that has struggled with binge eating most of my life. After a second bariatric surgery, I developed anorexia then bulemia. 3 years of intense eating disorder therapy later, I'm learning to enjoy food and not use my emotions to control my eating. I was looking for portion friendly, tasty meals that were already prepared and didn't have that cookie cutter flavor that other prep services seem to have. Other services, all the meals seem to taste the same. Tried the pizza burrito today as my first meal. I was very impressed. It didn't taste like "diet" food and the small portion was enough for my small tummy. My intent isn't to diet, but supplement my eating with healthier options so I don't revert back to old habits”

“Terrific dinner experience traveling through Rochester! Our server, Jenny was amazing! Friendly, efficient and fun. Every meal came out quick and hot. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend this place and will be back. Would give this rating a 5 star but it doesn’t let me!”
“Arguably one of the best restaurants in Rochester! I've been here twice so far and every time it's a wonderful experience. The food is unreal and the ambiance of the restaurant is incredibly well done. Can't wait for our next visit.”
“This place is a 10/10! The food is outstanding, and the staff is always so friendly. I could eat here everyday. If you haven’t been, you are absolutely missing out. My favorite pizza place and I would very highly recommend.”
“Some of the best falafel i’ve had in Rochester (green on the inside from all the herbs, just how I like it) and really good sauces. The boom boom and green sauce were my favorites. And definitely get some ”
“We came from Buffalo to eat..unmatched cuisine! We are currently in the restaurant and I'm considering moving in.lol.. Best lasagna, meatballs & homemade pasta I've ever had. Highly suggest.”
“highly recommend!!! first time customer and definitely not the last!! wonderful food, excellent service and very clean calm atmosphere. all ready to get more!”
“So, so good! Parking lot behind restaurant, super cute casual spot for tasty, authentic Mexican food! Everything we ordered was delicious. We had the birria tacos with sides of rice and refried beans, birria quesadilla, Mexican bowl, elote corn (a little too sweet for me), horchata drink, hibiscus Agua Fresca, and tamarind agua fresca. After we ate we shared a piece of flan--outstanding! Cannot wait to go back frequently. Owner Jesus and the other male staff (I didn't get his name) were beyond friendly.”

“It's a very cute, hidden restaurant with great food. By far, the best hummus I've ever had. I've liked their other food too but the first thing I'd recommend is hummus.”
“This place deserves five stars hands down. Dogtown was such an amazing fun experience especially for three people visiting New York. Even if you're a local or you're from out of town the dog plates did not disappoint so much great food the home style fries were just crisp and hot and fresh this place was delicious beyond belief.Parking: Just easy to park I was grateful for that cuz a lot of places in the downtown area you got to pay.Kid-friendliness: There wasn't really a lot for my kid to do but the staff and the cooks did not care that my son was a turkey so that made a place more enjoyable.”
“The food was so good! They have a buffet and we tried everything!! Delicious!Totally recommend it.The chef/owner is so sweet and open to answer questions about the food, the way to eat....Love it! We will come back for sure! And the price is really good too!”
“Im gluten and dairy free and this has been a god send. There are so many delicious options that I havent been able to try everything but I want to! The smoothies are some of my favorite with no added sugar which is amazing! Can't recommend it enough”
“We "ate in" at this small but bustling restaurant. it appears that many of the orders were to-go. The food was freshly prepared and quickly delivered To our table, the three men behind the counter were extremely busy, preparing food and taking orders. My husband had the vegetarian platter and I had the dolma platter both served with huge fluffy pita bread. The pita bread is one of the best I've had. my Dolma platter, came with a small Greek salad, and a little scoop of hummus. The dolma were very good as they were spiced. There was a drink case, but not much of a variety of drinks. However, they did have some exotic ones. There was also baklava and takeout containers. I think they should use reusable tableware when you're dining in instead of a packet of small plastic utensils, so I think they are really a to go operation. The food was served on dinner plates so they must have a way of washing things. This is a good stop for a quick meal or a takeout.”
“glad we found this little market. Friendly service. Delicious home made hand crafted meats sausages and sides to go with them. Even got lunch there bc everything looked so good and it won't break ur bank! A must stop everytime we're in Rochester”
“First time ever visiting Edibles Restaurant, food was absolutely amazing. The lobster poutine was out of this world and the other food was just as good. Highly recommend!”
“Came in tonight and had Aleia. Excellent service! She was so pleasant and helpful with our questions about the menu. Great experience! Will be coming back and requesting her”

“Our first time here and we would definitely go back. There was so much on the menu we wanted to try. We ended up getting a bunch of small plates, all of which were excellent. My favorite, though, was the octopus. It was outstanding. The service was excellent as well.”
“Had dinner tonight and it was amazing! The calamari appetizer was delicious! Also had the pork special, osso bucco which was out of this world! You must try this place. The service was impeccable also. Wish I knew our server’s name. From start to finish including dessert l can’t give this place enough stars!! I will be returning soon for another great meal.”
“This posh place stays busy, so just remember to make a reservation unless you want to eat at the bar! Now, everything I ordered was big and too much! Had leftovers for days!!! ?The ceiling is exposed, the cocktails are strong, and the menu is niche! Dimly lit, you can access this restaurant from outside or inside of Village Gate. And don't forget the food is delicious! My falafel was a bit overcooked, but hey... ??♀️”
“The Genesee Brew House is a true gem, nestled in the High Falls District. You know the food is great,as the restaurant is always busy and fun. I love the full menu, including delicious appetizers, just for starters. I’ve never been disappointed,in my experiences there!! A quick tip for Rochester style trash plate aficionados…..their plate is beyond perfect and it will leave you full. Down stairs, you will browse through tons of Genesee tee shirts, hoodies, and gifts! A+”
“Love going to this place food is always delicious. Staff is wonderful I recommend this place to everyone have been going to this place for many years and never been disappointed”
“We joined friends last night for a large birthday party and it went great! The appetizers and dinners were delicious, everyone raved about how great all the different diner choices were, the service was helpful, quick, and friendly, and all in all it was a tasty and fun experience!”
“All the dishes were so delicious. Enough heat to mean it, but not so much my eyes watered. I love Ethiopian coffee and this was perfect. Thank you, Chef for a great night and your kind hospitality.”
“Opened promptly at Noon, as the door sign promised, and ready to serve. Everything; the premises, the staff, the food area, was very clean! The chef owner was pleasant and, as for the food itself: nicely cooked, good portions and tasty without being "spicy hot."”
“Great restaurant!! The food and drinks were too shelf. Shane the bartender was awesome and made a killer black Manhattan!!! The SFG sushi was delicious too. Great atmosphere and excellent service!”
“My husband and I came here for the first time this past weekend. We were immediately seated after confirming our reservation, and our server (I wish we got his name/remembered!) was amazing!! He was very good about telling us where everything was sourced from, and he was also very convincing about how good the food they served was. I was interested in the Amish Chicken but was skeptical since I had no idea what a cream sherry was. When I asked him about it, he answered that it was rich in flavor and that he really enjoyed it. He must have still sensed my hesitancy and said, "Would you like to try some?", which I was so surprised about! He brought me over a small bowl with the cream sherry, and it was really good (savory with slight tartness to it). Everything we ordered was amazing, but it was his service that really made our experience so wonderful - thank you SO much!! We will definitely be back again!”
“Fantastic!Cocktails, food, service and atmosphere are perfect. I highly recommend the deviled eggs as appetizers. My friend had the salmon and ate every last bite. I had the burger and cleaned my plate. It's a little pricey, but worth it. Also easy parking if their lot is full there is another lot right next door. Make reservations and enjoy!”
“Gluten free pizza and mocktails! What a fun place for food and drinks! They have a wood oven they make all their pizzas in, minus the gluten free. Gluten free is prepared and cooked separately to reduce cross contamination. Be prepared to wait +20 minutes for a gf pizza. I ordered the pizza special on the gluten free crust. Not bad! It's a bit thicker (not full Detroit but not NYC thin). Overall, not bad. I would order it again, but this wouldn't be my first choice for a GF pizza. The crust fine, a little dense and premade. They have a couple of fun mocktail options that aren't some overpriced lemonade junk. I would recommend going for the atmosphere and drinks (alcoholic or not). I'm excited to see what else I can try on the menu. The staff are so friendly and helpful! All my questions were answered and it was so fun watching everyone cook at the pizza oven! Street parking and small lot for customers, both free.”
“went on a whim while running other errands, and so glad we did! everything we ordered was amazing!! definitely recommend the pork belly buns, scallion pancakes, and soup dumplings. can't wait to go back!”
“Black n Blue Crab is one of the best restaurants in Western New York. Food is spectacular, the salmon may make you cry, it’s so good and the wait staff is on point. Highly recommend”
“I ordered the birria tacos...they were pretty good...but that fried rice!!! Hibachi who?!?! I swear I hope it's that good the next time I order...it was excellent!!”
“The owner took awesome care of us and was so knowledgeable about the neighborhood and history. Great variety of beers. Food looked smelled amazing - will have to try next time. We can’t wait to comeback and see what is new on the menu. Highly recommend the Porter!”
“We hosted our daughter's first birthday party here. The venue was very spacious with plenty of room to hang and put out decorations. The bar is very large with a great space to place food and have it out of the way of the main area where guests can order drinks. Games available for guests of all ages to play, as well as TV's for sports lovers. There were multiple comments of how great the venue was and plans to host other family events there in the future. The staff were friendly and accommodating, enjoyed having them handle our party. We will definitely host future events there!”

“No doubt one of my favorite places to come for easy quick meal I love when service is quick because I love to eat lol but defently have great options kids meals and other good choices that you can get on drive threw or come in.Vegetarian options: You can choose how mutch you want and what you want. I don't think they have alot of veggie choices.Kid-friendliness: Anyone is welcomed and treated ok.Parking: Parking is ok never had a problem parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Everyone is welcomed.”
“Restaff everyone with people who actually cares about their job. when an employee throws their head set on the counter then leans on the register like it's their home, I don't want to eat or give them my hard earned money. Also they can't even get orders right or even know who they made orders for.”
“Good service but one of the busier locations. So if you want to be quick in and out, it'll depend on what time a day you make your order.Using the Duncan app makes pick up much quicker at the location..Parking: Limited parkingDo to location add a cornerWheelchair accessibility: This location is handicapped accessible”
“They were open midnight on New Years. Door locked but drivethrough was available. Thanks to the one dude in the store who was there so that an almost constant line of cars could get their coffee.”
“The restaurant provided great service. The veggie omelette was delicious and came with a side of fresh fruit. Although it was a bit noisy due to the breakfast rush, it was still a pleasant experience.”
“Despite all the bull they deal with they're all always so kind and patient!!Give this team a damn raise!!!I live down the street so i go here often enough that yes if you go to any mcdonald its greasy. ITS FAST FOOD!The workers here as i said are wonderful (night shift sometimes but nobody likes working night..cmon yall...give them a break..)Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp on the side of the building(two front entrances”
“The food was ok, and the service was reasonable. The staff doesn't know how to imput a substitution. They put it through as an add then I was charged extra for a different kind of sauce on my sandwich. The cashier was polite, but I don't think she understood what I was telling here when I saw it on the receipt. It would also be good if they took care of these issues before they completed the transaction.”
“Veronica was absolutely fantastic. Her personality and customer service is something that we do not see nowadays. She definitely deserves the employee of the month. I'm from Buffalo in the area for the day and even told her I wish people from Buffalo had the same demeanor that she has.”
“If you go between 2-3AM before they close you can't make orders at the drive thru but if you got the App you can do a mobile order and pick up in the drive thru!”
“To start off, I 'Rarely' leave 5 star reviews. I wish I took a picture of my Big Mac before I scarfed it down, thing looked like it came straight out of the commercial. Frys were hot out the fryer, perfectly cooked and salted. They even offered my two dogs whipped cream cups and the staff were all very nice, making it an enjoyable experience, especially for a place with 3.3 stars. (All female workers from what I could tell, visited at 6pm, may 21st on a Sunday) Good job!”
“We had our wedding reception at the Railroad Street Beer Hall and it was everything we could’ve ever hoped for, and more! Nikki, the event coordinator, was amazing from the start. She was happy and willing to accommodate any and every request we had. She was always 3 steps ahead of us, and made sure everything went off without a hitch- and it did! Reception planning can be very stressful, and Nikki really helped make it a fun and relaxed experience for us. The staff during the party was phenomenal, especially the bartender! So many of our guests commented on how fun and kind the staff was during our party! The food was also fantastic, and the atmosphere ensured that everyone had a wonderful time. We are so grateful for Rohrbachs and the wonderful people that work there - I would (and have) recommend having an event here to anyone! It was the perfect place, and will forever be a special spot for us. We had so much fun we wish we could do it again! Laurel & Julie”

Fiorella
“A great dinner at Fiorella tonight. A cozy spot by the public market, this went under our radar for a long time until some friends recommended we give it a try.The food was incredible (for the most part), as well as the service. We came unbeknownst to us on gnocchi night (Thursdays), and the pizza special was meatball which we had to try. My main, the sausage and polenta, was absolutely delicious. I watched a lot of the chicken cutlet dishes come out while we were waiting and was wondering if I made the wrong choice, but I definitely didn't. Next time I'll definitely give the cutlets a try.Dessert was also killer. The lemon cookies with a scoop of the sweet cream gelato were incredible. One downside and what I am seeing on other reviews that I can corroborate is the Cacio e Pepe was just bland pasta and some cheese. Visually this dish looked amazing so I'm not sure how it missed on flavor so bad. A minor blemish on an overall wonderful dinner. Can't wait to come back here.”
Takeout Restaurants
“The food is always delicious and the service is great. They have vegetarian and vegan options, which makes it a good place for all. I have recommended them to several friends, and all have been happy with it. Love supporting small businesses!”
“Peels On Wheels does great vegan pizza! The toppings are extremely high quality. I don't remember exactly what it was called, but they had this kind of sundried sweet red bell pepper that was out of this world. I had that New York style with shallots, banana pepper rings, and vegan pepperoni. The owner works in the kitchen alongside his employees and really cares about producing superior pizza. Their pies are so much better than what you'll get ordering from a chain!”
“If you're a cheesecake aficionado seeking a slice of heaven in Rochester, New York, look no further than Cheesy Eddies. Nestled in the heart of the city, this delightful bakery promises a culinary journey that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving for more.My recent visit to Cheesy Eddies was nothing short of magical, thanks to their unparalleled creation: the Blu-Ras Swirl Cheesecake. With its velvety texture, rich flavor, and a perfect balance of sweetness, this cheesecake transcended all expectations. Each bite was a symphony of blueberry and raspberry notes, harmoniously blended into a creamy delight that left me longing for another slice. In addition to the mesmerizing Blu-Ras Swirl, we indulged in two large Jack's Cookie Sandwiches, each crafted with finesse and overflowing with decadence. One was filled with luscious cream cheese, while the other boasted a delectable peanut butter cream cheese filling. Both sandwiches were a testament to Cheesy Eddies' commitment to quality and innovation, showcasing their ability to elevate classic treats with a cheesy twist.Beyond the divine desserts, what truly sets Cheesy Eddies apart is their exceptional staff. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff members were not only knowledgeable about their offerings but also went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was nothing short of perfect. Their genuine enthusiasm and willingness to assist added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit.Cheesy Eddies stands as the epitome of cheesecake perfection in Rochester. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor passing through, a stop at this charming bakery is an absolute must. With its heavenly creations, welcoming ambiance, and outstanding service, Cheesy Eddies has secured its place as the ultimate destination for cheesecake lovers everywhere.”
“The BEST cinnamon rolls and the BEST friendly service. All their bakes goods are delicious and I always leave with more than I planned on. I don’t even live here anymore but make it a point to come to this bakery every chance I visit. Well worth it!”
“Pizza here is great. At some point I need to check out the other offerings. There's always a new topping to try and the crust is perfect- Detroit style is nice and thick.”
“Heard about them through a friend and they made it sound amazing. I was not disappointed. Great atmosphere with a little play area for kids. Very cozy. Will be back often.”
“This is absolutely my favorite spot in Brighton and one of my favorites in the Rochester area. The food is great and of good quality, the prices are fair and the family that runs this establishment are some of the most sincere and genuine people you will ever meet. They care deeply about their food and their patrons. I highly recommend this restaurant. I've been going for a couple years now, and my whole family and every friend I've ever taken here also love Carmen's Cooking. 11/10”
“We eat here about once a week and I swear the food gets more tasty each time!!! Great portion sizes & the service is always great! Highly recommend and very happy to have them in Chili!”
“I just stopped and got a bowl of prime rib soup! It is absolutely delicious! I would stop anytime they have this soup! I have had subs also! They never disappoint! Oh yeah I always stop for high quality deli meats!”
“I am always greeted with a smile and they’re always looking for a way to make my day a great one. The service and products are exceptional, I’m a big fan. ??”
“My favorite is Strangebird Lite Lager! We had Pepperoni Pizza, it's not you're average Pepperoni Pizza, it had ricotta, chili's, Pepperoni and truffle honey. it was delicious! I highly recommend Strangebird.”
“food was amazinggg i got the chicken pho with extra everything and it was perfect, cashier was super friendly and the whole area just has a great vibe it was super peaceful and welcoming, great spot to grab a quick bite to eat or chill and study/work for a couple hours 10/10 will be coming back :)”
“Just love the crumpets AND the Crumpet Lady! I’m a marmalade head, so I must get it every time. Best ever. Also have had the cranberry curd (delish!) and my husband goes savory with lox/cream cheese or egg/bacon. Something for everyone.”
“Peach Blossom is a hidden gem in the city! It is the quintessential hole-in-the-wall stop for REAL, homemade Mexican food. The chef is Oaxacan and her son Marco is really personable and has a wealth of knowledge about the preparation of their food. Both Marco and his mom are extremely personable and we were delighted to taste the fresh tortillas they make IN HOUSE! Since moving to the area from San Diego 13 years ago, I have been searching for anything close to real Mexican street food and this is the closest I've gotten. Do yourself a favor and go get yourself some tacos, rice and beans! We can't wait to go back and try more of their offerings.”
“everything was amazing, went here with a group of four for a business lunch, it was perfect. total compliment to our meeting and everyone was pleased. Food was fresh hot and amazing. The staff was friendly and added to our great experience. thank you”

Elmwood Inn
“Elmwood Inn is a gem, not a chain, welcoming environment - no matter what I order, I always get the onion rings and an unsweetened iced tea, cannot find better anywhere else.”
“A greta classic of Rochester. Perhaps the only place with a true European flair and service. It is a well kept secret of polite and fun crowd. The food is usually excellent. I have never had a complaint.”
“Definitely an under appreciated gem in downtown. The food is incredible. It takes a while to come out, so you have to be patient. But that’s just because it’s all made fresh with a lot of skill and care.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Outstanding! Everything we got was delicious: vegan French toast, vegan kafteri egg sandwich, lemon potatoes, Pourakia, and vegan Kourambiedes. Can’t wait to go back to try more items. 11/10”
“The food is good, although not a lot of spice. the wait time for our food was a little longer than I'd hoped. Everyone was super friendly, though! The diner itself is not that big but it's very nice and clean. I would definitely visit again.”

“Some of the best Italian food around for sit down or take out, they do it right. And that's saying a lot since they are in Gates, NY. If you're an Italian restaurant in Gates, you have to be good and you have to be authentic and this place is just that. Throw a dart at the menu and it's gonna be good and it's really great value for your money. They are priced well below their quality. You can't go wrong here!”
“Great selection and specials at reasonable prices. Cozy environment, but gets crowded fast.Parking: On a day when the cafe was very crowded inside parking was easy to find, summer weekends might get challenging at timesKid-friendliness: Small play area and kid friendly seatingWheelchair accessibility: A bit crowded and tough to navigate, but all on one level”
“firehouse subs is got the best subs in Rochester New York give them a visit supper the local firefighters try their hook n ladder sub it's off the hook you guys are now my favorite sub place to go to hands down”
“An amazing lunch on a cold winter day! The potato is huge, and the toppings are generous. I got the Cowboy potato (without meat), and it was so good! Tasty and filling. I only managed to eat half and look forward to eating the rest later. Customer service was friendly and fast. And the delicious smells coming from inside the shack need to be made into a candle :-) ! If you've been wondering about the Potato Shack - treat yourself and try it soon!”
“Great chickfila. Not super busy and they are always running programs and promos. Managers are always amazing and attentive. Employees are curtious and perform their job well.”

“I've been coming to Root 31 for a couple of years now. They have GF and DF options and their veggie selections are always fresh and delicious. The servers are consistently friendly and helpful and it's exactly what I'm looking for in a great restaurant, dining in or buying take-out.Dietary restrictions: GF DFParking: Inside Pittsford Plaza”

“It was our first time here, so when we saw the 2 lines of cars at the drive-thru, we were ready to go somewhere else, but my husband said the cars were steadily moving. We were amazed that a female employee was walking to the cars and taking orders. She patiently explained the menu and answered all our questions. She was so nice and pleasant; she didn't rush us. I chose the cob salad with the chicken and avocado lime dressing. We even paid her right there.I was not disappointed. The salad was fresh and crisp with plump tomatoes, bacon, and corn. The chicken was delicious, nicely seasoned, and crispy! In their rush, they forgot to give us straws for our drinks. Fortunately, I had 2 in our glove compartment.I am impressed with their service and the cob salad. I may go there again.”
“I absolutely love Bill Gray’s and I moved away six years ago. I was so looking forward to my cheeseburger, onions and hot meat sauce. We got six meals to go. All that ordered meat sauce did not have any when we got home. I was crushed. Good thing I have a much love for Bill Gray’s to forgive this huge oversight that really disappointed me.”
“We go here all the time. It's our favorite ice cream shop to bring our 3 year old granddaughter. The staff is always very friendly, and service is quick. The ice cream is delicious, and the sundaes are amazing. We also purchased 2 ice cream cakes this summer, and they were alsovery good! We're in the loyalty club, so that saves us some money”
“I have been coming here since a child. I'm 31 currently. I love the food and the atmosphere. Everyone at this location takes the time to personalize your experience to keep you coming back for more.”

“This was our first visit and it was fabulous. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and just nice to chat with. Our server, Kathryn, was awesome!! Love her. I had the moussaka and it was wonderful. Great flavor! Hubby had the wolf fish/scallop special. Again, delish. Cocktails were great and we got desserts to go. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!”
“The wings and the rest of the food are delicious!! I highly recommend the Cajun honey butter bbq wings, they’re a favorite in our house. The staff is friendly and service was great!”

“My friend and I went there for dessert and a beverage. The selection was outstanding. I ordered the Viennese Mirangue Torte, it was delicious. My friend has the raspberry cheesecake, she said it too was delicious. The service & attention from the waitress was excellent. We are planning on going again.”

“Great coffee, friendly service that's not too friendly or prying, and seats enough to sit with someone but not to feel crowded. A really nice balance of things that show the care and thought put into this space.”
“Very nice. No wait for seating at supper time. Food was delicious and people were friendly and helpful. The price was also reasonable. This was on Wednesday night I believe. The only problem with Jines is that you need to give yourself extra time to either find street parking. It might be an issue for those with mobility issues or in bad weather as sidewalks aren't always plowed. I guess you can also park in the parking lot a little ways down from Jines. I think it used to be a grocery store or laundromat parking lot. It is free forJines patrons but you need to get your validation ticket before you put money in the self serve money slot. Otherwise it might be a hassle to get the money back as there is no one site. And if you skip payment without the ticket you risk getting towed.”
“Today I tried out Salty Bread Pizza Cafe’s new location. I bought the gourmet BBQ pizza on the salty French bread, a cronut, and a loaf of salty bread. Everything was DELICIOUS! The new location is cute and great for pick up/take out. I ordered in person for to-go and it didn’t take long at all for them to make my pizza. The employees there were all so welcoming and nice! 100% recommend this cafe!”
“Working with someone like Mrs. Anita Ephraim FX is a good experience and has yielded positive results for me every week. I invested my first $500 into bitcoin and Mrs.Anita FX helped me manage my account and i made $5500 in the first week. It has been an incredible experience from that day on! This wasn't my first time trading but honestly, I didn’t know what to expect when I first. Mrs. Anita Ephraim walked me through the entire process from start to finish, which was a … See more”
“perhaps the best food in the area. I and my mom had the fish fry combo 2. can you say value? can you say mouth watering? best fish fry I have ever had. the owner is a great guy, too. highly recommend!”
“10/10 place, amazing people, friendly atmosphere and they do such fun events! Not to mention they do great things for rescue cats and getting them adopted. Could not recommend this place more, check it out!”

“everything was amazing, went here with a group of four for a business lunch, it was perfect. total compliment to our meeting and everyone was pleased. Food was fresh hot and amazing. The staff was friendly and added to our great experience. thank you”
“I just visited here for the first time this morning and I am so upset I haven’t ventured over sooner. The atmosphere is so cozy, staff are beyond friendly, and despite them being quite busy, I was in and out within 10 minutes. I got the Lavender Dreams Iced Latte as well as the Basil Breakfast Grilled Wrap. When I tell you this wrap was CHEFS KISS- it was perfect. Everything was so fresh. Overall, I can’t say enough how great my first experience was here and I will encourage everyone I know to pay it a visit. Thanks Sips!!!”
“Do not miss out on this delicious food! Hand made from scratch ! The best food we’ve had in Rochester. Don’t drive by, stop in and try it. Quick service and absolutely yummy! We’ll be back again and again ❤️”
“Amazing! We are from out of town and will be coming back every day for more! The chilli sample they gave us was amazing! Immunity boosting shots, smoothies, and veggie wraps all seriously 10/10”
“This is a Rochester staple that we are lucky to have back! The way they do their stake subs are the inspiration for my steak sandwiches on my food truck. I made some time to stop in last week and was glad I did! the food was as delicious as I remember it being. the service was impeccable. from the security guard to the cashier to the men cooking. Made me feel at home. The lemonade was absolutely perfect as well. if I could rate them 10 stars I would!”
“Loved this authentic diner on our short visit to Rochester. It's truly a hidden gem. Loved the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. The food was exceptional. We tried their breakfast menu. We loved everything. The one thing we weren't too fond of was the hollandaise sauce on the Salmon Benedict. It wasn't as silky as it should've been. Other than that, everything else was on point. Our favorite was the nutella stuffed french toast. The french toast was warm while the fruits n whipped cream were cold. It is the perfect breakfast!”
“Never been at that location before. Best Ground cheeseburger Hamburg in a long time. Good size including bun. One little bump in the road. Wouldn't it be nice to train young help (young girls) when taking orders to be a little more cheerful. No expression!! Robot like!!How about acting like your a live person "" can I help u."" Otherwise all was fine.Parking: Very good”
“Very authentic Mexican restaurant. Love the Taco Tuesday. The interior is beautifully designed. I enjoyed the art work and carving of Mexican people and horses. Beautiful colors. Bring your family for a nice authentic evening at Rancho Palma.”

“Black n Blue Crab is one of the best restaurants in Western New York. Food is spectacular, the salmon may make you cry, it’s so good and the wait staff is on point. Highly recommend”
“We really enjoyed our stop at Living Roots (Urban Winery). Nestled in an area with some restaurants and local breweries, this was our favorite stop during our trip. The architecture of the building is cool, the staff was excellent and the wines we had were great (Nero)! The do not have a full menu, but did offer snacks. The popcorn and chips were both good. The bread was top notch and worth the trip alone lol!The layout is inviting we an "L" shaped bar area and plenty of tables. We also noticed a small private room they must have available for special events too. We did like the vibe and would definitely stop again when we are back in the area!HINT:Note that you do need a code to the door for the bathroom which was spacious and very clean.”
“The beer selection here is pretty awesome everything tastes great super fresh with great service. I didn't get a chance to try the food but I will definitely be back sooner than later for a meal and another flight!”

“Had a great experience here. Everything was lovely and more relaxing and intimate than some of the other nice places in town. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet and enjoyable high end experience.”
“Went for Valentine's Day and had a great time. the restaurant itself is quaint, with a nice relaxing vibe. The homemade pasta( I had the vodka sauce) was really tasty. the stuffed chicken special with the red pepper sauce was on another level. The hostess and our server were extremely friendly. We will be back for sure. oh and the piano man was crushing it that night, rebook that man!”
“This venue, with it gracious hosts and hospitable staff, is a terrific place to hang out and watch the world and people pass by with a glass or two of wonderful (and reasonably priced) wines of all kinds. It is also the perfect stop pre or post river stroll and views of downtown.”
“Beer selection has always been solid here. Tonight’s barrel-aged old ale was a treat and the Brie & Apple Burger was amazing. My wife raved about her Stromboli. Great place for a brew and outstanding food.”
“Highly recommend. Great neighborhood “local” tavern. Excellent Beer list. Great food, large portions. Goes on the Official BeerRanger Trail Marker Roster.”
“This place is very impressive, authentic and everything had tons of flavor as you would expect. Very busy and service is slow, but lots of takeout and weren’t a lot of servers so could be why. Fair warning hot means hot.”

“First, the food took its sweet time getting to us and the meal timing was off. My guest received their meal 13 minutes prior to mine. The food is absolutely delicious and the service/hostess/waitress were extremely nice. I love the Lost Meatball Ragu pasta dish but it’s a bit pricey at $22.00. All in all, a great experience. Perhaps they can tune things up a bit and work on those price-points. 4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“It was apparent that the new owner Vickie wants to change the whole vibe and not for the better. She could care less about accomadting you with options & if you have any food allergies. I do not recommend Nosh, not the same restaurant and feel its a turn for the worst. One out of the four meals one was acceptable we had 12/14/2023.The waitress very sweet but felt she was as frustrated as we were. Vickie the owner made no effort to accommodate us and was almost rude.I will pass this along, is a small coummiity in Rochester. Any postive reviews you read are prior to Vickie taking over restuarant.”
“Dom is the BEST. Please put the artichoke, chicken and sage pizza on the menu. It’s amazing, my boyfriend had a bite of mine and literally ordered a whole pizza of it. 10 stars for ”

The Cub Room
“The Owl House is one of those places I expected to dislike, but came away pleasantly surprised. It's a converted house, redone in a somewhat arch and artsy manner, with Alice in Wonderland motifs all over the walls and old-style cutlery and furniture to match. The food is over-priced, like all food everywhere nowadays, and the dishes quirky. And yet I've always enjoyed the meals, and had a good time there. Maybe it's the music, or lack thereof. No overpowering rap, throbbing techno, or wall-to-wall Superbowl. Just a nice quiet attractive place to sit, thoughtfully prepared food, and pleasant and unobstrusive service. The last meal I had was some intricate sampling of differently seasoned potatoes, but each one was just delightful, and the atmosphere was just subliminal enough that I could delight in my date too. I've never had a bad time or a bad meal here--elsewhere, for sure, but not here. I'll be coming back, I'm sure.”
“Found my favorite Italian restaurant in Rochester New York. One of the best Italian food I have had in western New York. Portions are big, prices are very affordable. 10/10 would recommend.”
“My wife and I had a wonderful night out at this establishment. Food will definitely keep us coming back. As well as the great waitress and manager Angelina who were all very welcoming & made sure we had all we needed throughout our meal.”

“Wow! Thank you! Such a great date night. I called early in the day on a Saturday and they were pretty full with reservations but I asked about coming right at 5 and they got us in. I wish I could remember the bartender/waitresses name, Jess I think?!? She was AMAZING! The entire place filled up so quick and she just danced around and was so pleasant! She was a whole vibe! The rest of the service staff didn’t come until closer to 6 and all the tables and bar were full. She didn’t skip a beat. She recommended my new favorite roll of all time, south beach. I also ordered the sushi bar salad and asked if we could get an extra bowl. They split it and presented it so beautifully! I wish I had a picture. This is also now my all time favorite. I can’t wait to get back. Seriously addicted! Thank you guys. We needed a dinner date and this was beyond what we had hoped for. Yum! See you guys soon!”

The Revelry
“Fantastic!Cocktails, food, service and atmosphere are perfect. I highly recommend the deviled eggs as appetizers. My friend had the salmon and ate every last bite. I had the burger and cleaned my plate. It's a little pricey, but worth it. Also easy parking if their lot is full there is another lot right next door. Make reservations and enjoy!”
“love this place! great food, great drinks...great staff. i always have great time going to Jack's! ...oh yeah, always ask if there's a kitchen special.”
“The birria is killer. The pastor burrito is killer. Great variety of margaritas. Suspiciously fast service. If someone asked me to recommend a Mexican restaurant that reminds them of grandma’s cooking, this would be it. Highly recommend 10/10.”

“BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. Great food, great atmosphere, and if you get a waiter named David…… WOW. This is the funniest man alive, lokey should be a comedian but here is good too. Would 100 percent come back…… just to see David ”
“Double date night! Wedge salad was excellent. A little heavy on the crumbled blue cheese and creamy blue. My boyfriend had the house salad to start and an iced tea. Split a funghi pizza with double chicken Vanilla crème brûlée to top off the night with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. I also had the basil martini. I don't typically drink. I wanted to try something new. It was phenomenal. Our friends had the Risotto and Chicken Marsala. A few glasses of wine later and they had a great time and meal. The service was prompt. It was a busy Saturday night around 7pm. We will be back soon for another yummy dinner! No pictures this time around. We were enjoying time with our friends.”
“I’ve only ever ordered on DoorDash (I’m a bit of a homebody) but I was BLOWN AWAY by how good their sushi burritos are! Easily the best sushi I’ve had. All of the ingredients taste so fresh, even after the 15-20 minute drive to my house! I’m not a huge tea fan, but love popping bobas, so I just order it with extra sugar! Today, I tried their macarons and they were also unbelievably delicious. I am so glad to have this restaurant as an option in my city!”

“I was in town for business and we went here for dinner. What can I say amazing. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect. And the service was great. Keep up the great work. I look forward to coming back when I’m back in town. Thanks for a great evening.”
“Best breakfast sandwich in town. Service is fast and friendly. They still have the Arizona iced tea cans for 99 cents. This is a local business that Must be supported!”
“Don't judge a book by it's cover. Hero's Brewing is a tribute to local hero's. non-profits or other charitable causes. The décor matches the name. There is a long bar, tables and a relaxing area with sofa's by the fire place. Pets are welcome as well. From the outside (not knowing the area), it seemed a little sketchy (saw a lot of cameras on poles, stickers all over (from the music venue next door etc.). But make no mistake, when you walk in Hero's is really nice inside. We saw that they had popcorn on other reviews, but when we went, they said they did not have it (bummer). They do carry a nice variety of beers and also had some wines (canned) from a Finger Lakes Winery (Zugibe). However the sparkling wine lacked bubbles as the date on the bottom of the can was pushing almost 2 years. But I was there for the beer (as are most folks). But they really should check to keep fresh stock.”
“Visited the Rabbit Hole Tavern tonight after hearing rave reviews and it did not disappoint! My chicken sandwich was probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. I highly recommend visiting here if you are looking for a fantastic meal! We will definitely be back!”

“Food was good. Placing orders and getting drinks was good but a table of 7 one dish came out at a time. One person didn't get her dish until almost everyone was finished. That wasn't nice . Other tables who came in after us got their food all at once.”

“Love the pizza and everything else quite frankly....but if it's gonna be an hour don't say half an hour.... Good news is I just smoked some weed while ”
“The food was fantastic - we had six of us in our group and each of us ordered something different, including items we've never tried at any Indian restaurant. There was a lot of sharing around, and it seemed everybody loved everything. The Lamb Seekh Kebab was especially good. We visit the area periodically and we'll be back.”
“I judge every restaurant by their Caesar salad….they passed the test! Also, HIGHLY recommend the Fig Blossom cocktail. The balance of flavors was perfect. It was very refreshing & laid back. Not overwhelming with sweetness or acidity. Made for a great double date! It’s very busy & noisy, which isn’t my favorite, but it’s clear that they are a hit with locals!”
“We've been hearing great things about CRISP Rochester and it did not disappoint. Despite being a little busy, they handled us with ease and a smile. Food was creative and tasty. There are several options for both vegetarians and vegans. What's really nice is that these offerings aren't an afterthought, rather they are creative options even an omnivore like me can enjoy (my spouse is vegetarian/pescatarian). The pimento cheese appetizer was fantastic. As good as I've had when traveling the Deep South. Unfortunately they were out of the Shrimp & Grits entree we wanted to try, but what we ordered was just fantastic. Our only comments are the "for the table" section's items are more single serving sized than true sharing portions. Still amazing, though we might have ordered more in advance if we'd known. Finally, there was a nice selection of mocktails as well as traditional cocktails. Like the comment about vegan/vegetarian options being creative, it's nice to see creative mocktails instead of just virgin versions of the same tired drinks. We will definitely return. The patio was lovely and the food great.”
“First time here on NYE and it was awesome. Really cool atmosphere. Yummy draft beers and drinks.Only complaint is there could of been more indoor seating but they had a ton of people in there. It was fun. Food truck had really good pizzas. I will definitely go back sometime and try more of the IPAs. Beer flight and food across the street looked good but it was closed that night. Plenty of outdoor seating which is awesome but not when it's snowing so I definitely recommend this place in the summertime. I bet it's awesome. Really chill place. I like it.”

Lento
“I attended a group Business Dinner at Lento. The service was very good. I loved the Mocktails as well as I stopped alcohol last year. The appetizers were very well presented and tasty. I ate the Calamari rings, well received. I don't recall what my entree was, yet the whole table had great reviews. Everyone was satisfied, and the waitress was always attentive and available. Lento is great for Personal and Business Dinners. I do plan to return with my family to enjoy a great experience”

“Went here for the first time with my family. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food was delicious and filling. Highly recommend if you want great seafood!”
“The most extensive Italian menu in Monroe County. The Alfredo sauce is the best mixture of cheeses and angel hair pasta available. Don't miss the best cooking choices around. I'll be back!”
“Stopped by for a late lunch. Menu was interesting and tasty. I particularly liked that the food came to the table as it was cooked, resulting in a hot, fresh to the table meal. While everything was very good, the scallion pancake was amazing and the sweet & sour fish was a particularly nice treat!”

“Amazing beer! Great fried pickles! Wonderful and engaging customer service! My only regret is the we couldn't bring back beer for the amazing chef because they were out of it (she'll know what I'm talking about and hopefully forgive us because we can't wait to come back for more delicious beer and the best chicken noodle soup with biscuits we've ever tasted!). Great taproot with amazing beer, food, and staff! Can't wait to come back!”

ROAM Cafe
“We found this café through my Seed Oil Scout app. We have come to Rochester for the eclipse and I just purchased the Seed Oil Scout app so I thought I would give it a try while we're traveling. This restaurant was recommended as a safe choice and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious! I got the Paleo salad with beef tenderloins. The beef was perfectly cooked, better than most steaks I've gotten. My husband got chicken Parmesan and loved it. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. We are so glad that we canceled the reservation that we had over in the Finger Lakes and decided to just stay closer to the hotel. Excellent decision!”
“Great pizza & wings. Asked for thin crust cheese and pepperoni. The sauce flavor was wonderful.Wings were medium and nicely done.Parking: Located on the corner so parking is good but leaving can be tricky as the sight line of cars coming from the corner may surprise you.”

Naan-Tastic
“Found this randomly when I was traveling. Stopped because of the awesome name, and it certainly was Naan-tastic! Had a Tikka paneer rice bowl, and it was so delicious. My only complaint is you don't have locations in Massachusetts where I live ❤️ 1,000 Stars!”
“called and made reservations as per message on their answering machine for 2. message said if you don't hear back consider your res confirmed showed up at 5 for dinner and we were told they don't have our reservation ; explained we called to reserve and didn't hear back = confirmation finally said they would "squeeze us in" we were seated and given menus and asked if we were ready to order. we said we just sat down and were not ready we were told we didnt have a reservation and they had to "flip the table ". my guest said we were not going to be rushed through dinner and we did have reservation. waitress said "well i don't know what to tell you and walked away" she came back aplogized and said she was misinformed and we did have reservations. at the end of dinner we asked to speak to owner waitress said thst was not a good idea since mike Sheedy was not a nice person and she didnt want to make the situation worse we said we didnt care go get him. again we were told he was not a nice guy and she didn't want to bring him out. waitress then turned to a regular couple behind us and asked them if they thought bringing mike out was a good idea since he wasnt a nice guy. they didnt reply. again... go get him waited another 10 minutes and were told hes not coming out. if you arent a nice guy Mike Sheedy then dont own a restaurant if you can't deal with customers. also your waitresses bad mouthing you is not a good look. we had reservations and were treated like we were a burden because you screwed up you dont make the customer feel like you are doing them a favor by seating them on your error. horrible practices and if your system for reservations doesn't work change it. won't be back and wont recommend and making sure everyone knows Mike Sheedy is "not a nice guy"”
“Stopped in after a particularly rough day and Kendra took such good care of me, she completely turned it around. Food was delicious but the conversation took this experience all the way home. She's the definition of above and beyond. Thanks, sis!!”
“BoBo’s has officially became the ONLY soul food restaurant I will go to in Rochester when i don’t feel like cooking myself lol! His food is sooo freaking good, always fresh and he gives you A lot! I spend $40+ tax on 2 dinners which isn’t bad for the amount of food and quality you’re getting. I have put so many ppl on to BoBo’s even my caucasian friends and coworkers who want to try soul food for the first time lol. His customer service is also good which I'm big on! Definitely give his place a 10 out of 10 would recommend.”
“Wife and I came for lunch both ordered seasoned rice for one of our side dishes. Unfortunately it was way too salty. Couldn’t even eat it. Was never asked if we wanted a different side dish to replace it. But yet paid for 2 side dishes. Understandable that the restaurant was busy and the waitress was stressed. But it would have been nice to try something different.everything else was good”
“First time there - the food is AMAZING! Some of the best food I’ve ever had. So reminiscent of El Ricon, but yet different. Huge and intriguing menu. The quesadillas are so delicious as are the sopes, & chile rellenos..the flan is creamy & caramel and the chocolate dulce de leche is sinful. If you haven’t been - GO… does not disappoint! I’ll be back for sure.”
“Went to the Brown Hound for Easter brunch with the family. I'll get right to the point, the food was incredible, the service was a fantastic and the atmosphere at the MAG was great. Went with 2 Adults and 3 kids and there were plenty of a selections for both breakfast and lunch fare, with the waffles being the standout. They simply were the best I've ever tasted. The wait staff was super attentive and made us feel right at home. Can't wait to go back, and we won't be waiting until next Easter :)”
“This is a really fabulous sushi spot nestled in Village Gate. They have a nice mix of standard fare and really creative rolls. Our favorites are Sunny Day and Sweet Potato Tempura, though everything we've tried on multiple visits is fantastic and fresh. They also have a really interesting and tasty Seaweed Duo Salad. For the non-sushi eater, don't hesitate to order their ramen. It is wonderfully prepared. Service has also always been friendly and fast. Special requests were accommodated with a smile. Prices are reasonable and the portions are good. If the weather is nice, enjoy dinner on their patio. This is one of our favorite spots in the city. It will not disappoint!”

The food was great with gluten free options and the attentive service heightened the overall experience. I highly recommend working with Max to host your next special event.”

“I recently moved to Rochester and have been looking for a good place to get Spicy Miso that is comparable to Sato Ramen in Buffalo NY. Unfortunately this was not it. They did however have a delicious Chicken Poke Bowl. I was disappointed that they did not have any traditional sushi.”
“A wonderful experience from start to finish. Fantastic service, top notch cocktails, and everything that came out of the kitchen was wonderful. The pot roast was out of this world. Thanks to Drew and everyone at The Classic for a great evening. We will definitely be back!”

Cure
“A surprising delight! We stumbled upon CURE from a recommendation from another restaurant to grab a drink while waiting to possibly be seated. What a fortuitous event! The warm and charming atmosphere of this not-so-fancy French cafe and the endearing conversation with the lively hostess convinced us to stay and eat here instead. We were not disappointed and in fact, delighted and surprised with the excellent flavors of the three options we ordered.Upon being seated at a cozy table for two, I ordered a French 75 infused with their own carbonated tonics and my husband ordered their tasty non-alcoholic proprietary concoction that he thoroughly enjoyed. The menu is split into smaller sharing plates and larger shared plates. Since so many options enticed us, our waiter recommended three of our larger options and said they would be enough for the two of us for dinner. The roasted root veggie salad had us wishing for some fresh bread (made right next door at Flower City!) to sop up the remains of the flavorful dressing. The hot veggies layered on the arugula warmed them just enough without making them soggy. The Brussel Sprouts caught our eye and though we had expected crisp and crunchy, we enjoyed this soft, warmed and charred version - again, the dressing was bread-worthy! Our last was the most intriguing and unusual - duck breast in a crepe. We are always seeking unique ways to serve duck and thought this was a good one. Definitely! Two crepes were expertly wrapped, stuffed to the brim with shredded duck and an abundance of sautéed spinach, sitting in a tangy, semi-sweet, light sauce, begging to be spooned overtop. We eagerly complied and filled our bellies until the last bite.We left just enough room for a tasty sweet option to share for our final course aptly named ‘dessert french toast’ with crème fraiche and blueberry syrup soaking the fresh bread from the bakery next door.Thank you to the proprietor who stopped by our table to inquire about our experience and engage in a pleasant conversation about his restaurant entrepreneurship. (Thanks for dessert!)We highly recommend this lovely restaurant with its design-worthy, cozy atmosphere, intriguing light fixtures, generous proportions and delicious food. Don’t miss a visit to the restroom to see the walls full of ‘cures’ and a peak at the compact kitchen busily preparing your food!”

Bar Bantam
“The bar tender Austin, is HIM!Not only does he provide amazing service, I watched him run out of the bar, leaping the fence bushes and a 10 yard gap to save children from a burning bus. It was insane. (This is a joke)For real Bar Bantam has incredible drinks, amazing staff that genuinely care you have a good experience. And the food is definitely the best in town for an even better price. They also have the best wings”
“Food was nice, loud customers seated behind us w kids, kids under their table, a little too much. People need to be respectful while out as others are trying to enjoy their meals”

Shema Sushi
“Such delicious sushi!! The servers were sweet and the fish was so fresh. My friend from Hawaii said it was the only place she gets sushi in rochester because it taste fresh like she used to get back home... thats enough to make me keep going back!”
“I haven't been here since before Covid and they were on Titus Ave. It was family night for a fish fry. I remember them having the best fish fry's. We got 4 orders with fries and coleslaw. The fish fry's and fries were very good. The fish was a good size and very crispy which I really like. The fries were good. The coleslaw was terrible. Idk what they did to it but we couldn't eat it. Non of us ate it it was that bad. It sucks but I won't be going back for their fish fry just because of the bad coleslaw. We also ordered a appetizer of potato skins with was very good. Service was great. We went early and was served right away”

“First visit to Dorado for lunch. My wife had chicken enchiladas, which she loved and I had a tofu chimichanga. Food was delicious all around. “This is got to be Rochester's best kept secret: King Food Restaurant. The food there is great, fast service and very politely and professionally attended. You will get plenty of food at a reasonable price. The attending ladies will greet you with a smile and ensure they get your order correct every time. Very happy customer here who visits them weekly.”
“Food and table service were very good. It is very very small inside. Feels like you are standing over people while waiting for a seat. They could definitely go bigger and still fill-up all the seats. I do recommend this place, but you may have to wait a bit for a seat.”

We were very happy.i never give a 100% grade, I think it unrealistic...but, if it was an option, I would give Romigs 4.85 stars ? .”

“Khatri Biryani has become my family's go-to place for excellent cuisine. On my daughter’s visit from Virginia, she couldn't get enough of their delicious goat pulao, chicken biryani, beef nihari, and other dishes during her 7-day stay here. The flavors were incredible - every dish packed a tasty punch without being too spicy. The meats were fall-off-the-bone tender and perfectly seasoned. And the portions were very generous for the price. My daughter especially loved the beef nalli nihari, saying it was the best she's ever tasted! I highly recommend Khatri Biryani if you're looking for authentic, fresh, and flavorful Pakistani fare. The ingredients taste like they are top quality and freshly prepared every day. The food is so fresh that it tastes the same even after we freeze the biryani and pulao and eat it after a week. There is no competitor in Rochester who even comes close.”

“I’ve lived in Rochester for over 15+ years now and it wasn’t until recently I tried Delmonico’s. I assumed with it being right across from MCC it would be packed with college kids and cheap food. Boy was I wrong. So wrong, I came back a second time just days after. This place is “the cream of the crop” when it comes to steak and service. We’ve been extremely pleased with their food and the service has been so amazing. Our waitresses have been super nice and attentive (not just checking in once and no where to be found for the night) and the managers are working hard, not just standing around. They even have checked in on us and taken plates off our table. Plan a night out, enjoy a great meal with fantastic service!!”
“Atmosphere is always wonderful. Myself and three lady friends meet at CB every two weeks. However, at our visit yesterday 4/10, there was a large contingent of Muslims in their native garb, talking in their foreign language. Normally, no problem. But this group was loud, disruptive, negative and downright rude! Even nasty! If you move to a foreign country and plan on living there indefinitely, you should learn the language, wear clothes that don't make you standout, be polite and congenial. In other words, assimilate to your new country. That's what I would do if I moved to a foreign country. Unfortunately, these people just colored other Muslims like themselves. All Muslims are not all alike. I don't know how CB could have handled it, but the manager should have talked with them. If they got angry and never came back, no loss there. Unless you want to see regular customers get driven away and find somewhere else to eat and spend their money. I am sorry. I try to be nice and welcoming to all. But with this kind of behavior, I will not.”
“Amazing service greeted with a smile, nice candle lit handmade homemade from scratch everything wood fired steak and pizza, pasta second to none!! Legit found out about this place at the beginning of the year and have been back several times and every time 0 complaints food and service is emaculate and you leave feeling good because the quality of the food can’t say enough good things I wish nothing but the best”
“We came here for a business dinner from out of town. The hostess adjusted her seating chart to allow the 5 of us to sit at a nice round table vs. a booth which we very much appreciated. Sam waited on us and this was nothing short of white glove service. The smiles, laughs and expert advice on the menu and available wine bottles made us feel so well taken care of. The food was perfect from start to finish for all patrons present. A slight mix up at the end of the night with a take away lost for our guest of honor resulted in Sam securing us an extra short rib and mash potatoes of course to close out a perfect evening. Sam is the best! Thank you to the Char team for a wonderful evening!”
“Amazing service and lovely atmosphere. Steaks were awesome and perfectly cooked. One lobster tail was a little overcooked, the other one was cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend and will be going back”
“Tammy was so sweet and made this such an enjoyable dinner. It was my nursing graduation dinner and she gave me complimentary cake! Would recommend this spot 100%”

“Fantastic restaurant for a special occasion. Food was delicious and service was exemplary. Portions are on the small size but my sea bass was cooked to perfection. Our sushi order was a little slow coming but worth the wait. Husband's lamb was also perfect. Definitely recommend Next Door.”
“We went for Easter and didn't realize that they were charging more for the buffet. But the food was pretty good! Our waitress was helpful but not very friendly! Very busy!Vegetarian options: Lots of fruits and vegetablesKid-friendliness: Lots of menu items for kids! Cotton candy for dessert!”
“Went for my birthday dinner with my family, none of us had been there before, and it was an overall great experience, both the service and the food. I wish I had gotten the waitress’s name, because she did an excellent job and definitely deserves the kudos”
“Food is great But sometimes it's cold. Mine experience the waitress, not everybody, he was rude, they just pass next to the table without paying no mind, That we're sitting there, so we just waiting for the service that we never get. We need to get up,And ask somebody for the Food, Cause the Waitress do not bring anything to the table,Plus I think they should cover the hair cause it's 2 times in a row that I find hair in my salad.”
“The hype is real. Was traveling through the area and decided to stop, we don’t have this back home! Absolutely delicious thick, soft, warm, flavorful cookies! Chocolate chip has always been my favorite- theirs is so good.Prices are high, but it’s worth it for what you get!”
“Literally the best Chicken Tenders not made in a Grandma's kitchen. Nevermind anything else. Cool staff, usually really attentive, and always busy. But the Tendies!!!! 6 ⭐”

“I ordered food from today and without thinking I said wow (out loud) when I had the first bite. The food here is absolutely divine. I am so glad I drove from Buffalo for it. Also, the service here is amazing! I will be coming back for more every chance I get.”

“We tried the wings and an xl fruit drink. The chicken was nice and crunchy while the inside was nice and juicy. Great service. Clean lobby. It was our first time but will definitely be back for more!Kid-friendliness: Clean”
“Decided to check this out. And we left very happy. First off, it's off street parking. We arrived around 5:30 on a Friday night so it wasn't busy yet. We were seated right away and they brought out miso soup and water. There's a QR code on each table that you scan to get access to the menu for online ordering. When they say "all you can eat", they mean it. Only thing not included is drinks which they have an assortment - alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We enjoyed all of our selections except the kimchi was not to our taste. The fried soft shell crab was def a favorite. The bathroom was clean but could use some upgrades.”
“Came in for breakfast for our first visit. We loved what they did to the place from what it was previously. With that said it is rather noisy, but that's because of the openness. The food and service is worth it though. I got the breakfast tacos and the wife got the veggie omelet. This is the first time I've ever gotten an appetizer for breakfast and the first time I've ever had to get a to go container for my breakfast. The food is so good and fresh tasting. The prices are a tad higher than what an average diner would be, but it's because it's not your average diner and you're getting great food with fresh ingredients. Well worth it! They also offer gluten free options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options”
“Walked in and realized there was different selection of food. Mochi donuts to Mongolian grill to Nashville chicken. I had the chicken sandwich level spicy and it was the right amount of spice. The chicken in the sandwich was juicy and it came with fries. It was well worth the money.”
“I did not know this was a mobile pickup/drive thru only and they served me anyway. I ordered the chocolate frosted/vanilla cream and it's the best I've had in Rochester so far. I will definitely be coming back!!!”
“Fast, friendly and persistently accurate service. I love the vanilla bean frappuccino (coffee base not the cream base;) which is not on the menu but an old classic favorite I love. I also add a shot of espresso:)) Perfect coffee fix.... Yes please!”
“Terrific dinner experience traveling through Rochester! Our server, Jenny was amazing! Friendly, efficient and fun. Every meal came out quick and hot. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend this place and will be back. Would give this rating a 5 star but it doesn’t let me!”
