Quintessential sandwich shop that you gotta visit! I stopped in to grab a legendary bagel and lox . Oh my! The reviews were spot on! Honestly the best I ever had. Now I need to figure out an excuse to go back to Roselyn Heights so I can visit again..
So Scott Goldman has a cafe in Roslyn…..bagels, platters, salads, juices, fresh fish, sandwiches, etc etc catering and even franks.For as far back as I can remember his veggie diet tuna is absolutely the best you will ever have, so much so that I drive from Woodbury to his Cafe in Roslyn.We yesterday we tried some of his fresh chicken salad and holy moly was it delicious.His cafe has a warm friendly soho type of atmosphere!Take a spin to 17A Cafe in Roslyn!I highly recommend...read full review

In a quest to find “REAL “ whitefish salad, I followed a friend’s suggestion and tried Cafe 17A. Amazing! This past weekend I tried several other salads- Vegetable Tuna, Chicken Salad, Egg whites and spinach, Egg salad and mushrooms and of course sliced Nova and home made cream cheeses. My guests raved! Everything is fresh, and homemade with Love by Scott, the owner. Thanks Scott, - can’t wait to return- You’ve definitely nailed it
