A seafood market and restaurant all in one!Ambience - the right side is a fish market/premade foods (think buffet station). The back is a sushi stand. The left side is a sit down restaurant.Food:We ordered:Baked Clams - the clams were selected from the fish market side of the restaurant. So fresh so good 5/5Fried oysters - freshly shucked and fried. 5/5Seared branzino - did I mention how fresh this was? 5/5Omakase?! They have a dedicated sushi chef set up in the back. 5/5TL/DR: this is my goto place for fresh seafood and sushi!

After having Omekase lunch next door, I decided to pick up a large crab cake and a stuffed lobster to go. The crab cake was a bit sweet but huge and packed with goodies. The stuffed lobster was good. It was fresh and full of stuffing on top of the lobster meat. I definitely need to return and try everything else!

Good quality fresh fish. Clean, bright, courteous and inviting. Very nice displays and fish variety. Easy street parking. Tried the salmon and lobster tails. I will return. Recommended.

Roslyn Seafood Gourmet has a great variety of fresh fish and prepared foods! My favorite items are King Salmon which is usually hard to find at other fish markets and the sea bass. From the prepared food the crab cakes and salmon burgers are great. Not cheap but the quality is top notch!

This place is a rip off! Absolutely disgusting prices for fish! I went there right before closing and bought 3 smaller Black Sea bass whole fish (last 3 in the place) and they placed them in the scale to weigh them before they clean them for me ..they had the nerve to tell me at the end it was $90 dollars!! I really thought they made a mistake on the scale. It wasn’t my first time buying fish on Friday for dinner but it definitely was my first and last time I will ever step into that fish market again!! No joke he told me it was $20 per pound ..unheard of!!The usual price is only 7 to 12 dollars at the most. Highway robbery prices thru out the store! At that price he should have cooked them for me and served them on a plate.Do not go there if you are smart unless you are desperate and want to get ripped off like me.

Absolute rip off!! I went there recently to buy some fresh whole fish and picked up the last 3 wild small sized Black Sea bass ..they measured the weighed them on the scale and cleaned them for me. I was then told it was $90.00 for three fish. Unheard of!!!Highway robbery!! Distrusting prices. They told me they were being sold at $20.00 per pound. I eat fish all the time and never will step inside that store again! The usual price for those fish goes from 7.99 to 11.99 per pound anywhere else. I advise anybody to check the prices before purchasing anything in there if you are smart and do not want to get ripped off.

Prices charged for food were much higher than the menu that was sitting on the counter. When I asked them why, their repose was oh we increased the prices but don't have new menus yet. So basically they look at you and decide how much they wish to charge you. But the food overall is good!

This little place is wonderful. We were visiting the area for a couple of days (first time on Long Island [outside of NYC] for both of us. All in all we had a nice visit. This place was not THE highlight, but certainly one of the highlights of our visit. Now if you're looking for ambiance, this is not the place--but it was certainly a pleasant place to eat. The food was incredible. I had the cod and my wife had some kind of local bass. I don't quite remember what sides we ordered, but it was all delicious and the service was great. The proprietor was very nice. I think his parents own it, but even though he looked young he was very capable and made us feel very much at home. Would love to come back to this gem if we make it back to Long Island.

EXCELLENT fish store! So so clean, you barely even know it's a fish store when you walk in (some places reek of unappealing fish smells). Such lovely people. Gave me a small discount cause I was a first time buyer. :) Will definitely return for all my future seafood purchases.
