“At a time when restaurants are scaling back on ingredients, portions and quality while charging more for meals, The Ritz On Union does just the opposite. I enjoyed a tasty ragu dish over papperdelle pasta. The portion was sizable and the pricing was fair.“

The food is great, the atmosphere is amazing and the prices are cheap on everything. I absolutely love playing at this venue. I honestly wish we could do it weekly and be their house band.“
“The food was very good, but this is my second time going there and each time they've messed up my bill and overcharged me. I caught it the first time, and missed it the second time. I didn't get an itemized receipt to verify the charges were correct. I don't think I'd go back because of that reason.“
“I love this place! Believe me, everything you read about the chicken wings here is spot on. They are meaty, juicy, and delicious. Jen helped me out and she couldn't have been nicer. She even started singing behind the bar! That's the kind of neighborhood spot this is. It feels like it's been around for 100 years and everyone is made to feel welcome. I can't wait to return because there were so many items on the menu and so many beers on tap it's impossible to conquer it all on just one visit. This is the perfect dive bar.“

“Best Ramen I had! Nothing like your typical Ramen soup you buy at grocery store. I got the seafood Ramen and broth was so good! The shrimp were huge and it had Japanese scallops, which are very different than regular scallops, they looked like clams. Overall a very yummy soup! Next time I am trying the pool ramen!“
“Good place to hang great bar tenders! There's one dude that hangs out there around lunch time that is very negative and thinks he owns the bar. He will not allow you to play certain music I'll just have to go when he's not there“

“Incredible restaurant in downtown Schenectady. Came in for lunch on a busy Friday afternoon with my daughter, and we were promptly seated. Ordered the FGBLT (Fried green tomato BLT with green godess dressing) 10/10- highly recommend. Waitress was delightful and easy to talk to,was nearby if you needed something but didn't hover. We will be back to check out their brunch menu.“
