“Customer service far exceeded the meal!! Stopped in for Easter breakfast on our way to Massachusetts (we are from Texas). Ordered their breakfast special which consists of eggs, BOTH sausage and bacon, and choice between French toast or pancakes. I will say everything was good and really, our only complaint was the potato’s (not pictured.) Maybe we didn’t know how to order but they definitely lacked seasoning and were not crispy…more like chunks of baked potato“
“This diner is outstanding. The food, the slightly snarky waitress and the atmosphere are all on point.I ordered the classic Eggs Benedict with home fries. The eggs were beautifully cooked, breaking in a gorgeous runny yellow when cut. The muffin was crispy, but not overdone. The Hollandaise sauce was perfect with just the right amount of lemon.I haven't had home fries like this in years! Crispy on the edges, soft and billowy potatoes in the middle, all with translucent onions.The portion size was exactly l what I wanted. I left full, but not stuffed.I'm a tea drinker and they understand how to serve tea here. Most diners offer unlimited coffee, but when you ask for a second cup of tea, they usually just bring you a cup of hot water and expect you to reuse the old tea bag.Not here! Tea was served with two tea bags, a full cup and a pot of hot water. Excellent!I can't wait to go back.Wheelchair accessibility: fully accessible restaurant. I don't know about the rest rooms.“
“I can't say enough good things about this place.We came across it while traveling out. And now every time we pass this way we plan on stopping.Typical old school diner with the old school service and offerings.Dinners are magnificent. Breakfast is top notch and a traditional glass case with tiered lazy Susan showcasing mile high pies cakes and desserts.“
“Our waiter was Kim - she was so patient with us while we decided on what we wanted to order for dinner (we'd never been there for dinner so it took us a bit to decide) and apologized for seeming like she was rushing us by checking in, when in reality it felt reassuring that she was consistently checking in on us to get our food in to the kitchen asap. We ordered the Our Famous Chicken & a salmon fillet. The chicken was okay, would probably order again. However the salmon was very bland and unenjoyable to eat. When we let Kim know, she was very understanding and asked if we wanted something different, and she took the salmon off the bill. She then offered to buy us any dessert we wanted on her. She absolutely did not have to do this and we were very grateful. She was so kind to us and we hope to have her as our waiter again. We made sure to leave a larger tip so she got her money back +tip for the dessert she bought us. Give Kim a RAISE! She deserves it! Has great costumer service skills and is just such a sweet person. Will be coming back just for Kim.“
