Very nice but small dining areas. Sat at a high top near the bar. It was crowded, so people were close. The lobster Mac and Cheese was very good. The wait staff were busy but managed to stop back several times to refresh drinks. Be aware you save 3% on your bill if you pay cash. Luckily for me, I had enough on me at the time.Parking: I went on a Saturday night. Parked in the bank parking lot. It was after hours and closed. I don't know how far I would have had to walk if I didn't park there.

The Mohawk Taproom & Grill is a great place to unwind with friends and just chill for a bit. Being that they are in upstate New York, they have fantastic wings. I mean, really great wings. If you ate even close to the Schenectady, New York area, I would recommend heading here for their wings. The Mohawk Taproom & Grill also has a nice menu with enough diversity of food that even the pickiest of eaters should be able to find something that intrigues them. The Mohawk Taproom & Grill has a very cool vibe and just walking up, it reminded me of old school taverns in countless small town. The inside had a cool vibe that though dated, it was still warm and the retro feel actually enhanced the ambiance and made you feel like you stepped in another time. I would definitely recommend a visit here. If you are a fan of wings, I would definitely recommend the wings here.

Great place for drinks with pretty decent food. They have a very good beer list and specialty drink list. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere was great. They have TVs throughout for sports. They were very busy with only one server, service and kitchen were pretty slow.
There's a short list of great beer bars in the Capital Region. I'm referring to small, locally-owned, dive bars. 20 North in Sch'dy comes to mind. The Ale House in Lansingburgh and The Ruck in Troy. Mohawk Taproom is definitely among the group of better beer bars. The food is mostly scratch made from what I can tell. It's not all frozen Sysco-truck crap. To be on the list of great beer bars, the bar must have good food, and Mohawk has good food. Their wings are among the best in the Capital Region. Mohawk is worth a visit just for its wings. Then there's the beer list. Mohawk's beer selection is outstanding. Even the most jaded beer-lover will be impressed. The tap list is a constantly changing who's-who of small, artisanal, cutting-edge brewers. Mohawk Taproom is a Capital Region gem, and worth a drive from almost anywhere in the Greater Albany area.
