“I had a unique opportunity to revisit Flanagan’s Pub & Grill in Schroon Lake, New York. I’d been there years ago when it was a decent bar but under its most recent ownership and management, I’m so happy to report that it’s a fantastic dining experience. The menu is extensive (just right) and everything‘s so good! Pizza, pastas, wings, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, etc. The bar and it’s selection is also extensive. The service is also great. And the place feels incredibly homey and welcoming. It is exactly what a small town Pub & Grill should be, and that’s due to the owners, Penny and Doug, who take such good care of the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, and their customers. And I will add that during the month of August, I ate at lots of restaurants in the area, and rate Flanagan’s, hands down, #1!“

“Love going here, great pizza, and ruebens.Nice atmosphere, service is great, ice cream shop out front during seasonal hours.Kid-friendliness: Kids do run around, and they are very family friendly, also dog friendly, apparently, as I see people with dogs outside dining. Great place!“

“I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful the experience was here. Truly delicious black bean burger with sweet potato fries. Such genuinely kind and thoughtful staff. One of the individuals working there was vegetarian and the establishment posts a Happy Cow sign at the front entrance. The menu has marked vegetarian and vegan options. I would definitely come back if in the area again.“

“my husband and I have been here a couple of times, we love the food but the services is just way too slow and our waitress yesterday didn't know what beer was available on draft or bottle when my husband asked. He had to leave our table and go to the bar to find out.“

“As others Yelpers have said, this place is iconic here in town, specifically for its karaoke. You'd expect it to be full of Japanese businesspeople, but no, mostly happy locals. Their holiday decorations don't come close to the old Grandma's of Albany, but add much festivity to the town. Inflatable Santas and snowmen stand guard outside. I've never had food here, and will update when I do. Otherwise, standard bar drinks. Service has always been quick and polite for me!“
