“I have yet to be disappointed! Reminds me of a Mexican taqueria stand where you order and are left on your own to eat in peace. It’s not your typical “sit down and be waited on” type restaurant. The staff has always been so friendly and the food is delicious! I love that you can see into the kitchen and can admire the cooks (when it’s not too busy of course!)”
“As a Texan who was forced to move to New York less than a year ago, finding restaurants. that have elidable food has been impossible this state does not believe in flavor or normal food. Where chicken and waffles is something, I could get at any fast-food restaurant, is now a foreign concept up here. I found this place by the grace of God, it gives you that home feeling. Collard greens a amazing, ya man bowl top notch, and the Nashville chicken although I would love more heat the flavor is on point. This is my favorite restaurant in NY! :)”
“The food is awesome, and the dining area is small but very clean, and the service was fine. Order at the counter, they bring your food.. I'll def. will go back than.”
“Great ma and pop restaurant. Great service, most of the wait staff have been there long enough to recognize and appreciate regulars and new folks and always treat you with respect. Great prices and huge portions.Parking: Lots of parking, gets kind of full Friday nights and Sunday morningsKid-friendliness: Hss a kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Single story, handicap parking right in front”
“Went here with my dad for the first time! We always drove by wondering how the food was or if there was actual sit down eating. Food was pretty good. I got a chicken quesadilla and it was BIG! Chips and salsa was good too, salsa alittle on the watery side but still yummy. Lady was nice and food came in a timely manner. We stayed and talked for a little and she was friendly. Quiet (when we were there) little mom and pop restuarant. Seating for all party sizes available. I like and support small food places like this. I will be back for sure! Recommend to anyone in the area”
“I have dined there twice this year! 1st time I have the prime rib dinner - excellent! 2nd time I ordered the pork schnitzel - wow inconsiderable. Wonderful salad and soup bar! I am looking forward to visiting Steger Haus again!”
“I've had several meals at the Tavern since the new owners and each dish I ordered was made perfectly. From a basket of fries to a giant (pizza box sized) fish fry. I had to take the fish to go and it wasn't soggy after being boxed, everything was very crispy and well seasoned. The daily soups are amazing. Very dedicated chef.”
“What can I say , has been a staple in the town of Sodus for many years . Everyone’s favorite spot for authentic Chinese food !10 mins or less with almost every order”
“Love visiting subway and having Courtney and Bree make my subs. they always greet me with a positive attitude and a wonderful smile. Great way to start/end my day ?”
“Outstanding. Great tasting pizza. I also ordered the sample platter. The price was good. The sampler was so tasty I ate the whole thing myself and paid for it with heartburn. Not their fault. Mine”
“Food , prices & service are absolutely outstanding! Super kind staff, atmosphere is cozy. Coffee here is also amazing quality! I'm always looking for new local diners to visit when I'm traveling & this place hit the spot!”
“Not from the area, saw this place had good reviews and gave it a shot. Our server was fantastic, she was super friendly & sweet; very family friendly place with a nice view; and the food was delicious. Hope to be back in the area again and will definitely visit here when we do.”
“I haven’t been here since it’s been Stone 8 until today - although I have had pizza brought to me from there (which is DELICIOUS!), and it’s really nice. They’ve redone everything since I was last here and it was a great place to do a birthday party. The family enjoyed bowling, and also pizza and soda. There were additional options, as well. It’s a nice setup, and as I mentioned earlier, we love the pizza. We just had cheese and pepperoni today, but other times my son brings us a chicken with country sweet sauce and it’s my fav! I heard from other locals today that there’s another highly recommended flavor which is the Stone 8.We’ll definitely be back and it’s nice to see money invested into some of these places that are staples of the towns. ??”
“Cute little restaurant. Bartender was friendly and the food was good. My steak was cooked perfectly…only complaint was there was an excessive amount of butter.”
“Sat down with my family from sodas NY and enjoyed our last meal together there before we had to head home the food was great and service was even better can't wait to come back when I'm in town next it was a great little spot played pool darts ate wings and Mac cheese bites over all greats experience”
“This was an amazing find while driving through! Pete was so friendly and the atmosphere of the place wonderful. I would have stayed for much longer if I could have. The food was delicious and honestly, the prices can’t be beat. Don’t leave without dessert! A nice selection of homemade yummy treats!Huge thank you to Riley’s staff ?”
“All in all, everything was good. Had chicken tenders with two sides. I got a good amount of food. The only thing was collard greens were ok. A little more seasoning. Also, Mac n cheese was a store box. Not homemade! Business on outside looks funky. Inside looks really nice. Another thing is there only open Friday and Saturday. I will be back to try other dishes. Really nice staff and food was hot.”
“Cute winery near Chimney Bluff state park. Don’t miss this small woman owned and run winery if you are in the area or feel like a pretty weekend ride. The owner takes pride in her offerings and has a selection including some semi sweet to drier varieties.”
“Food was (and always is) amazing. My parents heard we were going to dinner here and requested we bring them back food since they couldn’t come with! Relaxed atmosphere, great for the kids, bar is awesome. 10/10”
“Ok so full disclosure, if I look a bit wiped out the family decided on a 3 mile hike through Chimney Bluffs State park. Woof I am tired. We stopped for lunch here at Pier Fifty-three for lunch. Is puppers are welcome outside on the deck overlooking Sodus Bay. Pretty much a self serve bar. Water bowls are by the front door ATM. Family had a seltzer and Yuengling and then Chicken Nachos and well done Plain wings. They seemed very happy with their choices. Pops was jammin to some Roll with the Changes (it was an embarrassing eyeroll from me). 4 paws from moi!”
“No skimping on portion size! Genuine Coke/sugar! Very personable owner and staff. A welcome addition to the Point.Vegetarian options: Most dishes could be meat free.Parking: Village free parking in the ballpark lot and street”
“Went to the Sodus location for my son’s birthday. They’ve always gone to the Weedsport location and wanted to try this one for his day. There were 6 of us and 3 children, two 2 yr olds and a 4mo old. Needless to say we sort of took over the place. The bartender treated us like family and the kids like her own. Regular stopped in and had great conversation and he took to the kids who were treating the place like they’ve been there many times. Great beer and cider, good prices and wonderful people. We’ll be back! Thanks for a great day! The Stonewell family!”
“Food was pretty good, service was great. Nice place on the water with indoor and outdoor diningWheelchair accessibility: Although I'm not in a wheelchair, the whole venue appeared accommodating for those who are”
“Very good meal but restaurant could use some updating. Limited menu. They advertise extensive martini list, but you have to ask for the menu - it is not automatically provided. Dinner was very good.”
“I had my 60th birthday party there February 18th. Everything was amazing and I can’t rave enough about this place. Everyone who went loved the venue and the food! The staff was amazing and Brian was the BEST!!Dietary restrictions: They easily accommodated the special requests.”
“KK!!! **********Efficient, Eager to please, charming, witty, polite! Hard to come by servers like her. Handled all our needs with ease and a great sense of humor!(And she had to break it to us that the pizza oven was broke and we came for pizza)”
“Excellent restaurant!Their burgers beat Tom Wahl’s and Bill Grays. They’re on par with Five Guys. Their bacon chicken sandwich was the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Major props to the cooks! Fries and onion rings were crispy and delicious as well! Not a ton of malt in the malt milkshake. Maybe they forgot to add it? Regardless, definitely get a chocolate shake here!Pricing was fair.Neat atmosphere. You can sit at the bar or they have a dining area as well.Excellent ice cream. Will definitely return next time I’m in the area.Friendly staff.”
“We originally planned on eating down the street but after waiting what seemed like forever we made the choice to visit Six50 on the Bay. Amazing!! Great food, great service definitely plan on coming back!”

“Finding the coffee bean i like can be a task. I enjoy Tanzanian Peaberry and my sister in law put me on to this place. Had my first cup today and its great. Now, the reason for 4 not 5. Unfortunately, they charged me a different amount then what was posted. Sign says 2lb bag 25.50. I was charged 28.00. I encourage proper pricing and signs for transparency. Recommended and will return if they continue to carry TP.Updated to 5. Cant actually take a star after drinking this brew. Its great. Thank you for offering it.”
