Typical rural bar vibe walking in but everyone is very friendly. Best fried pickles I've ever had. I ordered Chicken Bacon Ranch Mac but the server heard me wrong and thought I said wrap. Again, one of the best wraps I've ever had. I'm happy for the accident. If I wasn't just passing through, I would be a regular here.
First time there and it was late, about 9. Went for fish fry but they had already sold out. Hubby ordered the liver n onions and I ordered the philly sandwich. Both were excellent. We will be back. Server was really friendly and attentive.

I've had several meals at the Tavern since the new owners and each dish I ordered was made perfectly. From a basket of fries to a giant (pizza box sized) fish fry. I had to take the fish to go and it wasn't soggy after being boxed, everything was very crispy and well seasoned. The daily soups are amazing. Very dedicated chef.
