“I walked in around 12 on Easter Sunday looking for a great cake to bring over my aunts house. I was looking for a place open that late and found a spot right near my house i never knew existed. I am so happy i found this bakery because the cake i purchased was outstanding! I will be coming back again for sure!! “Saturday evening dinner without a reservation. Walking in, my eyes immediately gravitated to the pictures of the owners and the many celebrities that have eaten and visited there before. The bar area is very nice and large, with TVs playing sports and news. We were greeted, welcomed and seated immediately. The dining area is very large and decorous. The tables large enough to sit us all. My cousin-in-law and his family frequent the restaurant and he practically knows everyone there, so as we sat, we were introduced to the owners and pretty much about a half dozen waiters and other staff members. All were extremely friendly and welcoming. As expected with all family style restaurants, the tables are very close to one another but positioned in a way that still allowed for ample space for you to move and sit comfortably. When we sat, there were hardly any people there, but within an hour it was full of patrons and large families. It was loud, but manageable. The food was unbelievably delicious. I haven't had true traditional family style Italian food in a long time. From the Fried Calamari and cold antipasto appetizers, to our Veal Parmigiana, Penne allá Vodka with Shrimp and prosciutto entrees. Paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon Palermo Napa, I truly enjoyed my meal. I haven't enjoyed food this good in a long time. My girls shared a huge plate of Chicken fingers and fries, and they loved it. “My absolute favorite coffee shop!! I am in the hard bean at least twice a week and I have had nothing but great experiences! The coffee is consistently good, and the food items are always fresh. The service is outstanding and the staff is always kind and attentive. I typically bring my laptop and stay for a while to get some work done, and this is a great place to do so. The WiFi is great and the atmosphere is always very calm. I love that when I go I am supporting a local family business that is hardworking and dedicated to what they do. I also got the punch card and my 8th coffee was free! Great touch for frequent flyers in the Merrick area. Let me start by saying the place has a very simple yet clean ambiance, the easy to read menu from fan favorites to byo bubble tea. So the wife and i decide to get the Cancer which had mango slushy coconut milk fresh mango and crystal boba my wife ended up getting the Gemini which had strawberry milk fresh strawberry and strawberry popping boba!! “First time and could not be more impressed. First the bread , amazing . Chef Guerrieri is spot on with everything he prepares. Freshest ingredients put together perfectly . Did I mention the bread ? “This place is a hidden gem and features some of the best ice cream/ gelato I've ever had on Long Island. I got the campfire crunch swirly, and it was delicious. “This is such a cute life cafe in Lindenhurst. I came here with my husband on and early morning coffee date. We aren't coffee connoisseurs but we do enjoy a good cup of Joe. My husband went with the baristas recommendation of a pistachio espresso and I opted for something sweeter and got an affrogato. The gelato I went with was the rainbow sugar cookie and it was so delicious. I really enjoyed the chunks of cookie and chocolate. The menu options are endless. Went today for first time and I enjoyed the atmosphere, had a matcha iced tea with tamarind syrup (had them add milk to make it a bit creamy as it was more on the sour watery side than what I’m used to for matcha); my partner had an iced coffee. I will definitely return as I really would like to try their regular coffee, the place smelled amazing!!! They sell coffee bags there too, which would be kool to make at home if you’ve tried and loved the taste of their coffee. Reminded me of Gossip Coffee in Astoria.The great thing is they have plenty of outlets, pretty much at every single and double seating space. The tables for 4 in the middle of the cafe are the only ones without outlets.It was a bit chilly when we went today, as the back door was open to the outdoor seating, would’ve preferred it closed especially in 45-50 degree weather still. It’s nice to have that extra space out there though, esp when the weather gets warmer, definitely a plus. It faces the parking lot.The cafe overall is cozy and chill, great place to work, light a bit dim, cute decor, more of a rustic industrial feel which is my cup of tea. My partner felt like the seating was uncomfortable and hard, esp if going to be there for a couple hours to work like we were but otherwise, great place to check out and unwind at, over coffee or with a friend, to read, catch up on work, or just work from for the day. Today they were playing some hip hop music in the background, not sure if that’s the case always. They have some baked goods there to munch which we didn’t try, but maybe next time. Would return!“

Charming, cozy, and straight up delicious, this cafe has the right stuff to give the cafe chains a run for their money.Immediately upon walking in, my partner and I were greeted warmly, as they insisted we try their award winning gelato. If you’re going for a drink or coffee, it’s a great spot. Have several outlets in some of the seating areas, which allows ease for working remotely as well. I just put my headphones to be able to concentrate more. Not a rowdy place at all, as I mentioned super chill. Staff doesn’t bother you and you can stay as long as you want. They have a ton of options available when it comes to any kind of flavor you could want with your coffee, I opted for their drip with raspberry, which was absolutely delightful. If you don't do your drip right, there's no way you do anything else well, so this is a good sign for my return trip! They offer several teas and an assortment of baked goods to eat as well, if coffee isn't your thing. Staff was very friendly and service was quick to boot. There are a bunch of tables inside and out if you choose to stay awhile, but it is limited and the place seems to fill up pretty quick. Plenty of parking close by either on the street or in the municipal lots in back of the building.“

“For the past few weeks, I've been trying new coffee shops on Long Island and I finally tried this one. It's been on my list for a while because they seem to have a lot of fun flavors. They also have some cool seasonal flavors depending on the time of year! I went right before St Patrick's Day, so I got the iced lucky charms latte, which was obviously seasonal for the holiday. They also had a peeps marshmallow latte for Easter, which looked good. Plus, they decorate the coffees and lattes very cute! The lucky charms latte typically comes with whipped cream and lucky charms on top, although I got it without whipped cream. I'm not sure if it usually gets busy, but I came around 8am and there was no line, so I got my coffee very fast. Would definitely recommend!“

It is currently behind a few bar stools and in an awkward location. It would look much better in your standard middle of the bar where some of the teas are. “Came here for a quick lunch during my break. After moving to Long Island it is quite difficult to find a Spanish restaurant. I found this restaurant on google. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted. There are some people behind the counter that speak English but they speak mostly Spanish. I do speak Spanish, but it was good to know that there are other people that can speak English, because I wanted to share this restaurant with my colleagues at work and they do not speak Spanish. Everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful. I ordered the special of the day which was caldo de res (beef soup)- there is an option to order it "Complete" which comes with rice topped with beef stew, macaroni salad, and plantain. I got a Colombiana soda to go with it and it was perfect!!! it was nice, clean, bright inside and the bakery is to die for. I didn't get to take pictures of the empanadas and pan de queso I bought, but it's a MUST have. I would love to try their cakes next time, it looked so good!! they have a whole pastry/bread section. “My friend and I decided to meet here for breakfast since it is conveniently located to shopping. Google maps lead me to believe that it is in a stand alone building but it is not. It is in the main strip. Thanks to Yelp reviews, I learned it is CASH ONLY so I came prepared. The website can use an updated menu. Upon entering, there are plenty of booths for 2-6 people and counter service. We ordered both order egg platters, mine was the corned beef hash with one egg. It was very good. Service was friendly and efficient. The decor reminded me of the coffee shops I grew up with. Will definitely be back!“
