“We attended the macaron making class. It was so much fun and we learned so much. Angela, the owner, is a professionally trained pastry chef who is also warm, inviting, and patient. She gave us recipes, invaluable practical tips, an excellent demonstration, and help and feedback along the way. She also provided a tray of the shop's macarons to sample while we baked our own (which were plentiful and came out amazing!). The shop's macarons are to die for. My favorite was the French toast one. We were also encouraged to bring snacks and beverages (alcoholic or otherwise) to enjoy while we baked. I would highly recommend the class, and the shop's macarons.“
“Everything this bakery makes is incredible. The mountain bread is so soft and yummy, it’s so good with butter. I like it toasted but not even necessary. They have such a variety here and the selection changes often. My favorites are the apple fritters, fluffy sugar cookies and pies, but they have so much more. Lunch and soup too! The best part is that I can bring my kiddos and am always greater with smiles. Plus they have on several occasions filled last minute special orders for me. Really can’t say enough good things. “I ordered the Buffalo Bills pizza for the playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. First off, they contacted me when the game was rescheduled and offered accommodations so that I could get the pizza and bake it myself as they weren’t open on Monday when the game would be played. THEN called back again to let me know they were going to open on Monday after all and scheduled a time for me to pick up my pizza. Awesome customer service and only outdone by the delicious pizza!! “I have been going here for many years and from my experience, these are the best bagels in Rochester. I always pick up a dozen when I have guests from out of town. I just wish they would fix their web info. I can't tell exactly what their hours are. Some parts of the site claim they are open at 5:00 on some days. Others say they don't open until 7:00.Parking: Easy access. Part of a strip mall.“
