Always stop here on our way to visit family especially for birthday cakes but this time was dissapointed in both the size of the square $25.99 cake and its design. 1st the cake looked like it was shorter and missing a layer but the worst part was the blue DYE in the decoration. It was so dark it got on everyone's fingers, mouths and hands and wouldn't come off! The design wasn't as nice either. I’ve always liked Carvel since I was a kid. Haven’t had it in ages, so it was a treat for me to indulge. My favorite is the soft serve ice cream, and for birthdays who doesn’t love a Fudgie the Whale Cake. Chocolate crunchies are the best! I like this particular store. The ice cream was fresh & tasted great. Service was friendly.
