“I had been here a few years ago. We were two people for dinner on a Saturday evening at 6PM. I was surprised that so few people were there, but then again, it was a nice day on Staten Island, so I guess people were BBQing. We started off with a avocado & artichoke heart salad that was beyond delicious. It was a large order so we shared it and each had two large servings. I highly recommend it. Then each of us had the Shrimp Oreganato, but with linguini, rather than potatoes and vegetables. Again it was excellent. We each had a glass of Pinot Grigio house wine, which was delicious and the wine glasses were beautiful, which is important to me. The server was very attentive but not annoyingly so. I can't wait to go back.“
“High in the clouds atop the historic pine st building, Saga restaurant has one of the best views in the city. When we arrived up the elevator, we were greeted by the bar and served an aperitif treat from a selection of fruity or herbal flavors. We were then taken to our table. The menu is pretty straightforward with a couple of choices - we had a choice of entree (we chose the duck tagine which saga is famous for) and we could also add on a truffle risotto course. Our first bite was a foam topped abalone beautifully served in the shell. This was the followed by a bento box of fresh seafood and vegetable bites. The idea was a 'choose your own adventure' and combine the seafood on crackers, or lettuce leaves with sauces to your liking. We also had a foie gras dish, and a scallop pudding dish with caviar, bone marrow, and lobster in Singaporean chilli style, before the main event of the duck. Served family style, we had two large dishes of duck with vegetables and pancake style breads and sauces to make into wraps. I loved the interactivity but was slightly concerned I wouldn't have the best combination of flavors in every bite. The food was messy and needed a good wipe of my hands after! For dessert we enjoyed the ice cream and crumble. We also got the discovery wine pairing and every single pairing was spot on (which is rare for a long tasting menu).Great spot!“
“Amazing food, the spinach pie, greek expresso martini, and the vegetarian moussaka was beyond anything I’d imagine. The hostess Milena was beyond amazing, and the bartender Fausto was very attentive. I will make sure the Citi team is aware about this place.Definitely will be back!“
“I've wanted to come here for the longest time.Since we had an event downtown, I decided to get us a reservation afterwards. Thanks to AMEX, I requested to sit under the atrium overlooking the inside of the hotel floors, while there's never a guarantee I appreciate they were able to accommodate the great views and seat us so quickly upon arriving! It was a really busy night too!We ordered two rounds of drinks, no food, although it looked and smelled wonderful. We walked around the inside after closing out our tab. It's a really unique experience, beautiful place and great atmosphere!(See Photos section for pictures)“
“We dined here twice in a few months, and I can't wait to go back very soon (they change their menu quite frequently). Every dish was executed with perfection, every bite melted in my mouth. Perfect amount of food for each course and overall. Chef is humble and charming. Service is personalized. They deserve two Michelin stars, and the Michelin guide should be ashamed for not awarding them one.“
“Overall experience was awesome! Ret and the gentleman who was shadowing were both extremely professional, courteous, and polite. They helped my wife with her decision on dinner and made it very easy for us to enjoy our anniversary. Food was delicious as well.“
“Staple NYC steakhouse! Visited on a Thursday evening after work. Lovely holiday decorations and music. Sat upstairs, very comfy booth, super friendly waiter (gave us complimentary champagne).Food was delicious, some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. The cream spinach was very lack luster though! Lamb was flavorful and tender, lobster bisque was super creamy.“
“It was nice to get a side salad with my omelette. Everything was fresh and very good. An observant server came to my rescue when the bartender got stuck in a conversation for 30 minutes. Less expensive than other options in C terminal, quieter too.“
“Very romantic dinner at The Stone House. The outdoor seating was absolutely fantastic with the lake view.Food was amazing and everything just perfect! When the sky turned dark and the mosquitoes started to bite, we asked to sit inside, it had live music!! So glad we got to enjoyed the outdoor view by the lake before dawn and enjoyed the live music after dark, itwas truly phenomenal and absolutely will come back again!“
