The place is the reflection of an honest days work. The people who work there care and have a connection to their regular customers. The pizza is a bit lacking; the crust ( All 4 times I've visited) was too thin and not baked well enough to have enough structure to support the amount of moisture in the sauce and cheese. It ends up being a chewy, greasy mess. The slice will go limp and break under its own weight. The flavor is there so with a few changes in ratio it could be great.
Been coming here for years. Really good entrees and pizza. Some of the best sauce I've ever tasted (and they won't charge you for extra). WARNING : If you get an entree, do it on an empty stomach or you'll be completely stuffed & unable to finish ? You can even order delivery through Slices (get the Honey browser ext.) & iYou won't get hit with a huge fee.So glad places like these still exist in my neighborhood and the city in general.
