Jrecks are the best! Great subs, evil-good cookies, friendly staff. Their location is on a busy corner with a small/tight parking lot, so parking and leaving can be a bit tricky- but the food makes it so worth it.
Been going here since I was a kid. Nothing's really changed in the sub shop, besides the COVID wall. Hot pepper relish is what makes Jreck Sub stand out from the other sub shops any where around. The subs are very skinny from other bread subs. They have better roast beef. Not sure if they still service corn

I love JReck subs more than anywhere else. Sadly they left my hometown years ago. On the town FB page there are many who want it back!As it stands, I have to go 15 to 20 miles to get a sub here, so I just don't go as often.I went yesterday because I was at Community Hospital for testing... and the decked out seafood salad large sub made it all better! They always make a sub how is like. The other nice thing is I've never had a sub maker here try to get me to get a named sun, as opposed to the big chain with 'sub' in their name, they always say "oh you want a blah blah blah", even management has stepped in to say "this or that doesn't go on such n such a sub".I got a very rude look once for saying "I don't want that, she is putting on what I asked for" and "yes I know bacon is extra" .Parking: The parking at this location is small, and can be difficult getting out onto either street and going the direction you want. But the food is worth it!
Good but kind of light on the meat. Hogies were a little thin. Easy spot to park.

The meatball subs and fried buffalo cheese curds are my go to here, this place has yet to ever disappoint. Staff is always friendly in accommodating its customers the best they can. The new garlic dill rolls are soooo tasty!

Jreck, sadly, has become Subway. This is not your 1970s era Jreck.Vegetarian options: Non existent, unless you want a bread and lettuce sandwich.

I did not expect the food to be great but it far exceeded my expectations. I ordered a buffalo chicken sub, the meat was very well seasoned, the sauce wasn't overwhelmingly hot. The bread was soft and saturated with the sauce. I loved the different selections for toppings.
Parking: Some people make up parking spaces causing it difficult to park in an actual parking space.
