“I’ve been to China. The food is great! But boy, when I say this is the spot for some of the best Chinese food you’ll ever have, I mean it. It’s better than most places in China. Come here only if you dare have great Chinese food that will set an impossibly high bar that will never be met.“
“Authentic Szechuan (if you love flavorful spicy foods, come here!), huge portions. This is my go to Chinese restaurant since it is so close to most of the schools in the area (5-10 minute walking distance) and one that I recommend to friends who want restaurant recommendations. Placed an order online via their website, then went in person for pickup. 1. Water spinach w. fermented bean curd: One of my favorite dishes I usually have back home. Flavor was amazing, but the water spinach was a little tough & not the freshest. Cannot blame Jiang Hu though, because water spinach is literally IMPOSSIBLE to find upstate and it was likely imported from the downstate area. 2. Xinjiang Dapan Chicken: My favorite!! Came in a HUGE aluminum foil take out container; could have easily fed 4-5 people. My roommate & I had this over the course of 3 days. The flavor of the soup is out of this world - spicy, savory, and fills you up. Perfect for a cold, rainy, or snowy day. The soup came with a large portion owide knife-cut noodles, which was cooked al dente and soaked up all the delicious soup. I would 100% recommend ordering this dish if you come here.“
“so I almost didn't order here... as my husband went in I read the reviews and was to late to stop him because of the handful of bad reviews. I have no idea why they got them but this place was delicious. the ingredients were on point. I was so surprised to find a restaurant actually using such impressive ingredients. my favorite was the hot oil wanton which I will be dreaming about tonight... I'm all the way in Rome ny and want to drive back over for another order or 2 lol. the beef hot oil soup is so full of meat and flavor. this is the first time I've ever regretted reading reviews. give them a try and see for yourself. absolutely scrumptious.“
“This was a telephone order and it was picked up in the store. However there's very little attention to detail on the interior of the sore and really lacks atmosphere at all. Chairs from the '80s tables from the '60s it isn't really a good place to eat if you're ordering it for your residence and picking it up you don't have to look like a 1960s atmosphere“
“Lip numbing spice in all the good warm way for a cold Syracuse day. After a snow storm and Sunday with bright daylight. The restaurant inside has its own personality when it was remodeled a few years ago. With it's earthy wall fixtures and wall mural of an old Chinese restaurant. If your brave highly recommend pork kidneys and even frog. Portions are always for two or a little than that. If you want the next level Chinese food this is the place and always spicy.Vegetarian options: A lot of tufu substitute for the meats. A lot of options and vegetables to choose from.Parking: There isn't just parking in the front there is space on the side and back of building.“
