“I’ve been living in Troy for a year now and have been trying to find a good Chinese spot. I have yet to find one to my liking! I was also craving a tuna roll so thought I would give this spot a whirl since they also delievered. We were NOT disappointed. The Chinese combo, the sushi, the ramen everything was amazingly good and this will definitely be my go to spot from now on!!“
“Wonderful delicious fresh sushi! The place is cute and small- about 10 tables and very clean! All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. This will be my go to sushi place!Hard to see at night but just keep a close eye out becuase it is well worth it!!“
“Best Wings I’ve had at any restaurant. The sushi was delicious and fresh.Had a wonderful eating experience at this restaurant with my family.Try the Saki, we had it cold and enjoyed it.Will be back again, saved as one our favorite Sushi place.“
“Shogun in Delmar is our go to sushi restaurant. We usually take out, but occasionally dine in. The service is exceptional here. They truly go out of their way to make your experience a good one. The food, whether it be sushi or other things is always good. It's always tasty and fresh. If they have the Korean Surf & Turf roll as a special, GET IT! Trust me on this. It's in the top 5 things I've ever eaten. I wish it was a regular menu item. My other favorite roll is the Golden dream. The Pink Panther roll is great too.“
“The service was fine and the atmosphere is average, but the food was delicious and the menu was extensive. And reasonably priced too! We were just visiting from out of town but I wish this place existed back home. I’d be there all the time!“
“First time here and really enjoyed the Sushi/Sashimi Lover combo. Truly fresh and naturally tasty. Comes with a miso soup and salad. Servers were friendly and the place was very clean. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. Will definitely be back!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access“
“Amazing place, amazing food. Everything I've tried has been very tasty. I love the curries. Word of caution: their spicy levels seem to be a bit spicier than other places. I've found spicy level ratings to be pretty consistent in other restaurants, I know what to expect whether I order a 3 or 4. My level 3 was definitely more like a level 4. Absolutely delicious, just be mindful if you aren't big into spicy. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner“
“BEST all you can eat sushi in Albany. Most people know other restaurants for their all you can east sushi but Ruby City is way way better. Appetizers are included in the all you can eat, the sushi are big!, the lighting is nice, the decorations are lovely, it’s clean, the service is amazing, and the most importantly the food is sooo good. Get their gyoza! We got like three servings lol. This is our new sushi spot “
“I love Yoshi Sushi! If you're there at lunchtime do not miss the lunch special... 12.95 as of March 2024. See my picture... it's a creative repurposing of items left over from the previous day plus some rolls and nigiri. That fish under the sesame seeds is a slab of miso black cod.... incredible and worth the price all by itself!“
“I have never cared for crepes; it's the one thing that I would never order. But my boyfriend is a huge fan of crepes, so of course, he convinced me to go to T-Swirl.And T-Swirl has literally changed the way I see crepes forever heheI LOVE T-Swirl crepes. They're delicious, the mix of flavors is just wow, big portions, and it's just a fun flavor party in my mouth. I've ordered their sweet crepes - the chocolate nut party and the matcha chocolate truffles crepe. I don't even like matcha, but I find myself always going for that specific item because the flavors are insane.Recently, I wanted to try a savory crepe, and I had the Okinawa Hot Dog, and I was just like wow, why have I avoided crepes all my life, hahaha. I also love that T-Swirl has the calories listed for each item and has options for two sizes! The ambiance of the place is cute, chill, and small. It's definitely going to be one of the places I visit more frequently now!“
“If you are looking for delicious Japanese food, you must try Nishiki! We’ve ordered sushi and sashimi here countless times, for years now, and it’s ALWAYS fresh and tasty. Some of our favorites are the Tuna Cappacio, Ninja Roll, Jonas Roll, and the Rensselaer Roll. Our kids like the Shrimp Tempura Roll and the Philadelphia Roll. The miso soup is great and so is the Pink Lady Roll! Haha… we love it here. This little gem is run by the sweetest local family, especially Queena, who is always so friendly. Maybe it’s because she knows how good their food is! ?❤️??“
“Ok, this review is a touch biased due to me going to get a late lunch by myself. Around 3pm on a weekday, so there was no one but staff there. That being said, I was treated like royalty. Ordered some great rolls, had a FANTASTIC Mojito, and just enjoyed myself. No pressure, no rush, just a guy enjoying himself in peace. Rolls were amazing, cocktail was amazing, service was amazing. 10/10“
“Great food and staff. My chief complaint was the bathroom. With only having 2 stalls, it is already small for how busy the restaurant became. 1 of the 2 stalls was out of order. After mentioning this to a staff member, i went back to my table. Upon using the restroom before leaving, now both stalls where out of toilet paper and when i mentioned this to staff, i was laughed at, as if toilet paper is optional. Didnt love that.“
“Came back for the first time in a couple years and was very pleasantly surprised at how good our meal was. Food was outstanding, service was fantastic, and everything moved along smoothlyVegetarian options: Limited but very good vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Space is tight but atmosphere is accommodating to kidsWheelchair accessibility: Parking, entry, and seating not very accessible“
“Ordered takeout on a Monday night (kudos for being open on Mondays! its so hard to find Monday restaurants!) - the portion sizes were fair for the price. My son enjoyed the yaki udon and I had the maki combo 2. I also have several food allergies and there was no issue accommodating allergen requests. We look forward to ordering again!“
“This place is so delicious. The staff is very nice. I do wish they would check in with me more as I had to wave them down when I needed anything. They wouldn't just come and check. Other than that I'm very satisfied. This is my second time coming here and the rolls are very fresh and filling.“
“Went on an early Friday evening, busy but not crowded. Warm, calm, relaxing atmosphere soon as you walk in. Immediate friendly service and seating. Crab Rangoon were sizable and hot. Had a craving for vegetables, so had a sweet and sour saute with veggies and shrimp with Jasmine rice. All I can say is Fresh, Fresh, Fresh! Tried Thai Iced Tea for the first time which was not too sweet and very refreshing. Meal was very satisfying without feeling weighed down. Will definitely come back again to try the Sushi of course!Kid-friendliness: Family friendly“
“Mr. Fuji has been our preferred Hibachi restaurant. I don't think we've ever made reservations, and there are just three of us, but it never seems to be a problem. The longest we've ever had to wait was 15 minutes. Easily accessible, the people seem nice enough. For the most part, the food is pretty good. Every once in a while, we get a chef is isn't as good as the others, so we've had one or two meals that weren't outstanding, but we mostly enjoy. I do wish they'd check on us a little more often when it came to drinks (they don't seem to happen by all that often once they've delivered the drinks or appetizers), but I can usually flag someone down when we're completely out of water, soda or alcohol. One of the best parts about Hibachi is the chef, right? Well, these folks are usually pretty fun, too. There has been one chef that doesn't seem to really get into the show, so that one was a little bit of a bummer... but there was another dude who actually made balloon animals for all of the kids at the table. I'm not kidding, that was awesome - no special occasion, it's just what he did! Yep, we'll keep on coming back. We like it there.“
“I tried the new menu Ramen and bubble tea yesterday. The ramen is probably the best in the area. Will be my go-to ramen place from now on. The owner said he made the broth in-house from scratch. You can really taste the difference from those artificial broths.“
“Sooo good. I ordered through doordash they made me late because when I got there they had my order wrong it took about 30 minutes to get the food right and they didn’t give me any type of accommodations or anything but at least the food was fresh and it was still delicious Would like to come again maybe when I have more time.Follow me on Instagram for more @roze.gxld ?“
“Place was amazing! I’ve been going since the beginning of the pandemic. My food has been delicious every single time, i love the the quick service cashiers are very kind. I never had a complaint. Whoever disagrees probably only seasons their food with salt & black pepper. I WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THIS RESTAURANT“
“The sushi I had was delicious. The sweet n sour chicken was the best we'd ever eaten. However, my kani salad was sad. There was barely any crab at all. It was a bowl full of luttuce with barely any crab that was mixed with crunch. Kani salad should be very little lettuce with plenty of crab and crunch. I would've given 5 starts if kani salad was worth the price. Everything else was fabulous. We will definitely be going back.“
“Really surprised by the quality and portion of the food. The food I ordered was all so good! No extra charge for pricey ingredients like avocado which was nice. Very friendly staff too. The soup that came with my rice bowl also tasted great. Too bad I don't live in the area but I'd recommend this place to anyone who needs a quick bite!“
“The food was good I definitely would come back. Their rock shrimp is different from other places smaller shrimp and fried hard but good. I just wanted more rice that’s why I gave it 4 stars and cause the shrimp was small. I had the chicken and lobster hibachi.“
“First time hibachi for my daughter's sweet 16. Great experience great foodKid-friendliness: Sat in hibachi, my kids don't eat everything but they worked it out so they got what they liked and I wasn't charged for a ton of unwanted food“
“It's pretty expensive, but quite good!! They don't have combination meals, so a General Tso's Chicken with fried Rice is about $20 dollars. But there is almost no filler in the General Tso's, mostly chicken! And excellent flavor!! My daughter loves the veggie lo mein, and we both enjoy the avocado cucumber rolls.“
“I called earlier in the week to setup a reservation for a large team dinner before a basketball game. I spoke to Lou who was great to work with. We had about 56 people that evening and he assured us he could accommodate that many people. We arrived at our reservation time and only had to wait a few minutes for the tables to clear. They gave us the whole upper dining room, basically 4 hibachi tables. Everything was fantastic! Service, food and experience. The team and parent had so much fun that evening. I cant thank Lou and the team at Koto for taking great care of us. We will be back again!“
“My friends and I were passing through the state the day after the solar eclipse. Our last dining experience was absolutely horrid. THIS place however, got it all right. Vibes were impeccable. The food presentation and taste were spectacular. Our server, Susan, was so attentive and sweet. Five stars and my sincere thanks to all the staff!!“
“This is where my partner and I went on our first date and where we just went for Valentine's Day. It is a great place with excellent food and service. And very reasonably priced. We will keep coming back to celebrate special occasions. The rose was a nice touch.“
“Came for early lunch during the week. Ordered beef teriyaki lunch (bento) box and a tuna roll. My wife had the sweet potato and an avocado peanut rolls. Extremely impressed with their attention to detail and prompt service. When you get the A-game from a restaurant during non-peak hours that shows quality. Thanks!Vegetarian options: Plenty of options.“
