“I love love love this restaurant! Last night I went and ordered the mixed plate for an appetizer! Everything was so good and the falafel was no joke. For dinner I had the chicken toscana and the flavors were amazing and cooked perfectly. My friend had the lamb kebab and also loved it and he’s a lamb snob. We also were lucky enough to meet the owner and chef and what a kind man. We are so lucky to have them in North Greenbush! We will be back.”

Venezuelan arepas and cachacas are a true delicacy, and not always easy to find, so to have a spot here in the 518 that's just killing it is a really wonderful thing. I went with my girlfriend and we tried several things: the yuca fries, pork empanadas, sweet and crispy cachacha and pork arepa. We literally inhaled it. The only pauses were to groan with delight. The game selection is by far the largest I've seen, everything from "family game night" type games like Sorry up to the more complex and strategic games. The Buffalo Chicken MAC was truly incredible!!! Might have been the best Mac I've had. The texture and ratio of Mac to chicken to cheese cracker was divine. If you need something last minute for a potluck definitely grab the Mac, they have a cauliflower version too. A solid portion at a fair price. Fantastic Oolong tea, though a bit too hot. This will most certainly become my 3rd place and can't wait to go back!”

It was good, as was the spring rolls and sesame chicken dinner, but it was a disappointment for me not to get what I wanted. “I have been so excited for this restaurant to open and it did not disappoint. The Grand opening took place while I was away. The day I made it home I didn't want to cook and I remembered they had just opened. I was so excited when they were still open on a Monday, not knowing their hours. There is a generous size parking lot with picnic tables along the back and bistro tables with umbrellas in front of the building. Upon opening the door you are transformed to Old San Juan. I loved the colors and especially the Puerto Rican flag mosaic. I am interested to see what gets added to some shelves in the future. They accept cash and credit. They will have a rotating menu with 3 types of rice (always white and 2 yellow but different styles), beans, roast pork and 3 or 4 other entrees (tonight was jerk chicken quarter, sweet and sour chicken w/pineapple, stewed chicken, and pastelon. I just missed the last serving but look forward to trying that soon. It is basically PR lasagna using plantains and ground beef layers. There are 3 sides to select from. I ordered the stewed chicken with arroz con gandules (rice with pigeon peas) and sweet plantains as 1 meal and roast pork with yellow rice and cabbage as the other. I also got 1 of each chicken, beef, and shrimp empanadas and a guava pastry. The roast pork was EXCELLENT. It was so juicy and full of flavor. It was better than the place we usually go to which is also excellent! I thought the arroz con gandules was delicious, the rice was perfectly cooked. We loved the stewed chicken but we hardly got any chicken for the $15.99. The pork portion was more appropriate for the price than the stewed chicken. it was delicious and we wanted to keep eating it. The sweet plantains were delicious as well. All of the empanadas were great. My husband's favorite was the beef followed by shrimp and chicken. My favorite was the shrimp, chicken, then beef. We did agree they were all delicious! I really am looking forward to trying more meals here. Even with a rotating menu, I wouldn't mind seeing a price list of options. can I order just a side of plantains or just the entree without rice? The owner did say they might get a website or something eventually. I really hope they do well here. They are the nicest people serving delicious food. This is certainly not fast food. Actually, much of the recipes need to be cooked for a long time and therefore if they run out, they run out. I'll keep that in mind on my way home from work when I don't feel like cooking.”

I was looking forward to those deliciously moist and tasty cakes for months before the event this year and they were the first stop on my list! I moved to the area last fall and since this Dunkin is in walking distance, my husband and I stop by all the time.When we order ahead, 9 times out of 10 it's ready by the time I get there. And when it's not, the wait is never long. The staff is always friendly no matter what time of day/week it is- I tend to grab coffee whenever it strikes me so sometimes it's the morning, sometimes the evening.Unfortunately there are times when items are out of stock despite the app allowing orders to go through. This isn't the staff's fault at all and they always offer alternatives.The restaurant is clean and well kept- just last week or so contractors came to remove the remnants of prior seating. And while the bathrooms being staff-only is inconvenient, I can absolutely understand why this is. For better of for worse, we live in a city. Yes, there are homeless. I don't blame the staff for not wanting to clean up after disasters in the restroom. I've had to wait a couple minutes in the lobby a few times to meet people and I've never been kicked out or yelled at.I haven't had a problem coming here. None of the other sushi places on the East side of the River are as friendly, fresh, or as customer-minded as these guys. We went to other other places where the portions were skimpy, food wasn't fresh, they forgot our chopsticks, soy sauce was expired, poor customer service, etc. We've NEVER had any issue with Unagi. Every time we order out or dine in the experience is a 10/10. My partner and I used to live 10 mins away from Unagi and we would get it about once a week. Now that we live closer to 30 mins away, while we may not get it once a week, we will definitely make the drive for Unagi. Nothing else compares. My favorite is the 50 & 50 Roll :)”

“We had our engagement party here. We were lucky to be able to reserve the River Bar. Jared did an amazing job helping us plan the event. He suggested a date where live music was playing which made our party even better. He worked with us to create a food menu and gave us awesome feedback on how much to order based upon our party size. The rest of the staff that served our party was wonderful. The drinks and food were delicious. The staff made sure the food was staying hot throughout the party and they even helped us box up all of our gifts at the end of the night. They did everything to make sure we had a memorable night. To top it all off, it's nice to have a place to go in Troy, New York that supports your local law enforcement and first responders. If you are thinking of having a private party this is a great option!”

I ordered chicken piccata, stuffed eggplant, rigatoni with sausage, roasted potatoes and green beans, along with delicious warm rolls with butter and of course the to die for cannolis. Multiple people asked where I got the delicious food. I was delighted to tell them to call Al Patricelli. It’s great food for a reasonable price. The big plus is the service! “Been wanting to eat here for a while and finally did. Panchos is a festive, warm, cheery restaurant that is decorated in such a way that is fun and immersive, like I'm eating at a Mexican festival. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We ordered a couple of Modelo draft beers that were nice and cold, really hot the spot. Complimentary tasty salty and crunchy tortilla chips and salsa were brought to our table right away. We ordered a steak quesadilla to start which was brought amazingly fast! And so delicious!! The steak was seasoned really well, so succulent and savory. I was digging it so much I ordered a burrito with steak for the entree. My girlfriend also loved the quesadilla. She ordered a shrimp burrito next. We also ordered a side of guacamole. I'm a guac fiend! Really good guac, didn't need any salt addition and had a nice cilantro flavor, which I love. My steak burrito was tasty but whereas the steak in the quesadilla was the star and allowed me to savor the seasoned beef, the steak flavor in the burrito was muddled and nearly lost due to the overpowering tomato based sauce that covered the burrito. If I'm going to have a steak burrito I'd rather have a hand held burrito that's stuffed with steak, rice and beans and not covered with sauce. It was still tasty, just barely any steak flavor. My girlfriend liked her burrito but said the shrimp was so small it was hard to taste any shrimp flavor. We will definitely be back and try different offerings next time. We brought the second half of our burritos home to have for breakfast. I think I would like to try an actual Mexican steak dinner there.”

Venezuelan arepas and cachacas are a true delicacy, and not always easy to find, so to have a spot here in the 518 that's just killing it is a really wonderful thing. I went with my girlfriend and we tried several things: the yuca fries, pork empanadas, sweet and crispy cachacha and pork arepa. We literally inhaled it. The only pauses were to groan with delight.
