This is certainly one of the best places to hang out as a student of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. It can be either to grab a coffee, have a bite to eat, or just chill out with your friends. It is also a nice place to study or work.There are ample amenities for charging your laptop, playing some indoor games like table tennis, billiards, etc. There is also a pub upstairs and various meeting rooms. The Panera Bread here is also pretty good.
Food has drastically improved over the last year, it now features a Panera Bread chain, halal, curry, a burger joint with prices comparable to Five Guys, and a pizza joint that serves jumbo slices with a wide variety of toppings.What it loses a star for: the first floor store is very overpriced, even on low level materials like pencils and notebooks. Pointless to shop there for anything other than RPI gear. (Even then, wait for a sale!)

This is part of RPI with Cafes, offices and study areas. A place to meet up, eat and chat. Great place to socialize as well. If u r a piano enthusiast, u will find your solace here as well.
