It was tasty on its own and great with the hot sauce and jar of spices that were available. I also loved the beef empanada and the pineapple drink. The s a good empanada was not warm enough and was very intense fishy taste. I think ? if this were freshly made, it would taste better.Overall, this will be a place I would visit again next time I am in Utica.“
“I’ve been coming to Joel’s for quite a few years (6) and they have gone from great, sub par, to not so great. Today I had the best roast pork and rice and peas in a long time! So yummmm! I also had plantains with garlic. Made to order. Fresh and delish!! Ten ten!! Cost with drink large: $17!“

I visited a couple months ago on a long-distance bike trip with my partner, and we stumbled across Sazon Frank in Utica and it was, by far, the BEST meal we've had - the spicy stew chicken is delicious.
