“I did something I've never done. I was cruising down the freeway and asked Siri to find me a restaurant; this was the first choice. What a nice surprise! Killing's is spotless (ignore the outside). The staf/owners are super friendly and helpful. The food was terrific! I had Mushroom Stew, really just a red sauce with mushrooms and hamburger over penne. Much better than it sounds. Simple food really well prepared. The coffee was also unexpectedly good and fresh. A great place and great value.“
“This place is a million times better than I imagined. The fact that they have fresh fruit options...???????????? It's absolutely delicious!! So many options too, there's something for everyone. My daughter loves watching them make it too. The staff is also super pleasant and answered her questions about how they make it. “Best frozen yogurt around and I am obsessed with the fruit flavors!! Such a healthy choice and free to customize even to a ridiculous extent :DI see someone said the spoons are sharp? Not to my experience.I see someone claimed it was dirty? It was absolutely emaculate when I was there.They also did have a "plain" vanilla flavor available, and to my knowledge the flavors are rotated every once in a while to keep things interesting and unique.Will be a repeat customer! “Nice spot for ice cream. Their soft ice cream wasn’t my favorite, as I prefer the soft serve custard. The hard ice cream was really good though and they had a lot of different flavor options to choose from. The staff was super friendly and very nice as well!“
“Went here with my family, the wait staff were very friendly and when food came back with an error she went back and made sure it was right. I got the turkey club and it was really good (it's half eaten in the photo, there were 4 pieces of sandwich) I got a brownie sundae as well, though I forgot a photo. Food was delicious and still warm.The bathrooms were kinda gross, but usable, toilets were clean but floor was a bit yuck. Also all floors could have used a once over for dropped bits and pieces, but tables, booths, and silverware were very clean“
“This little gem is the best ice cream spot in New York State and perhaps the country! The ice cream is beyond compare - better than the best places I have experienced and the Italian ice is to die for. It's a very clean and pleasant but rather small place on a busy cut-away corner in north Utica. My compliments to Michael on such an amazing place for ice cream. I have not tried the hot dogs or hamburgers yet but plan to on my very next visit. I live in Massachusetts but travel thru Utica on my way to Rochester quite regularly. It is so great to find and enjoy a wonderful place since they are so hard to come by. The taste at Tasty Treat is simply fantastic!!! Dr. Z“
