We were the only ones there so we may have had top notch attention for this reason. $40/adult, $20 for a 5yo and the 4yo was free. They sort this out by height. We LOVED their fried calamari. The table sides such as kimchi and other veggies were so yummy! I was pleasantly surprised with an ice cream cup and a birthday song. Also the music was fun! We had a 4 and a 5yo get up and start dancing mid dinner👍🏼”

“Had a great lunch at the Valley Stream, NY location. The food was great, steak, chicken tortilla soup, Caesar salad, and pazookie. As good as the food was, the service was even better. The waitress, Joanne did an outstanding job. She added greatly to an already good experience.”

“We have eaten inside although tonight was as takeout. We have had Thai from many different restaurants and this by far was the freshest, tastiest Thai food. We had fried calimari, Thai spring rolls, masaman curry, green curry and panang curry, drunken noodles and Thai iced tea. You save by paying cash. I highly recommend this authentic place. My pickier eaters in the house said it was excellent!”

“A Salvadoran food place... very clean and the food is very delicious. Fried yucca with chicharrones I recommend it 100%. Pupusas... the sea and land tray my favorite. The food is delicious. It is a place where you can enjoy with family and children and there is a secluded place where they can play pool, super cool for men and they also have a bar. In case you go alone or alone. Nice very nice place

Parking: On the day of an event it is difficult to find but there is parking on the side and in front of the restaurant

Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.”

We ate here and they had a wide variety of food options from doubles, cook up, bake and salt fish and various curries paired with The best tasting roti I have had in a long time. We ended it all off with some very tasty Pastries that are homemade in store. The owner Serita is very hospitable and made sure we had everything and that we were well taken care of! “Not sure if I’m saying his name correctly but Azzo is a blessing. I have eaten here before and their pizza is amazing. However their hospitality is unmatched. My battery died in my car right in front of their establishment. Azzo literally came out in less than 5 minutes to see what was wrong. He made sure I left safe. God bless you for your compassion for me. Other than calling my insurance I don’t know what I would of done but you treated me like family. I see many comments that are negative and would like to remind people that fresh food takes time. If a restaurant takes 2 minutes to hot your food - it’s most likely being microwaved lol.”

You can't tell that the bar has been open for 65years as it barely looks a day over 30. They had good live music when we were there and I was also thrilled that they had quick draw lottery to play as I enjoyed the food. A definite gem of a pub. If I lived closer,I would likely frequent this establishment.

Parking: There's street parking for free that is limited and a parking lot with meters very close where it's .25 cents per 30 minutes with FREE parking on Sundays and holidays

Wheelchair accessibility: Our group had someone in a wheelchair which there was no problem to get in and out. She was able to sit comfortably.”

“I order their chicken and broccoli with a side of chicken wings, spare ribs, and egg drop soup. The price is fairly reasonable and very good for the quality of the food. The chicken and broccoli is my go-to from them and u can never go wrong with it. I would also recommend getting their shrimp with broccoli. They always make them full of flavor so no need to worry about blandness. Their chicken wings are nice and crispy, and pairing it with the hot sauce is a nice touch. The spare ribs are saucy and tasty. The egg drop soup is light and hearty, making it very warming especially on a cold day. Not only, it pairs perfectly with the rest of the meal. The portions are also great and very shareable. Overall, this is definitely a restaurant I would order from or stop by if you’re looking for a homey and hearty meal after a long busy day.”

“If I hadn’t peeked over the counter, I might never have realized this was a Jamaican restaurant. Aside from a few small Jamaican flags—which I didn’t immediately spot—the predominantly red signage doesn’t clearly reflect the Jamaican cuisine they offer.

That said, I thoroughly enjoyed my “small” portion of curry chicken with rice and peas, which many other places would probably consider medium-sized. Priced reasonably at $14.39, including a bottle of water, it was great value. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked, while the rice and peas were expertly prepared, with just the right touch of coconut to bring out the traditional flavors.

The server, Alicia, was both polite and engaging, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

My only suggestion is that they make it more obvious to passersby that this is a Jamaican restaurant—perhaps by adding more green, black, and yellow to their signage.”
