Very unprofessional. Abe Fuchs speaks in a disgusting way over the phone. We skipped over a beautiful wedding venue, Crest Hollow Country Club, because of their kitchen contract with New Star caterers. They do not offer tastings for wedding reception food, when we asked and expressed our surprise (gasped), Abe responded with "if you don't like the way I do things, go somewhere else". We spoke calmly, asked questions, and we were very excited because we thought we found the venue of our dreams. Abe Fuchs speaks as though he is in control of the venue. He asserts his dominance through their contract. He wouldn't answer questions unless we gave him money first. He was extremely impatient, rude and might I add.. greedy. I'm surprised he's still in business, let alone contracted at such a big venue. Awful person in a delicate business. Can't imagine all of the families hearts he's crushed along the way due to his mannerisms of conducting business. Do not even bother booking him, save yourself the headache. Crest hollow is a beautiful location, but don't bother if you need to use their kitchen. If you see his company name, run in the other direction.

Absolutely disgusting people. They are rude and not accommodating in any regard. They have no incentive to be less rude or more accommodating as you don't know they're the caterers until you sign with the venue and they have exclusive partnerships. When my bride was suggesting wedding cakes, Abe Fuches simply said "Maybe we do not need a wedding cake?". Who does that? Who threatens a bride with having no wedding cake for her wedding. When we suggested signature cocktails. They said they can only do pitchers. Why would you have bartenders that can't make cocktails and only can pour liquids in a pitcher? That's not how cocktails are made. There are other issues with them as well, but these examples show that they are rude and not accommodating. Stay far away from them.

Not a nice company at all.. they don't know how to treat customers respectfully , we tried to find any good reviews about this company but nothing..be aware!!they are the only kosher caterers in Crest hollow.. we canceled our event over there!! We wouldn't trust them even to make a cup of coffee for us..

Food was subpar, a rip off. Stay far away. Food lacks presentation. Not worth $150pp. There are much better caterers out there that will make your jaw drop in regards to presentation, taste and value.

Last Sunday my daughter got married at the Sands in Atlantic Beach. We were suggested by the grooms family to use New Star Caterers owner by Mr Abe Fuchs. I had never even heard of this company but I decided to use them anyway. The person I dealt with was Ivan Kail. I have only one word to say... AMAZING! The wedding went so smoothly and the food was so delicious. All the guest could not stop raving about the presentations and the fantastic food. Such a good company with talented workers and managers. If you have a Kosher event, I highly and wholeheartedly recommend New Star caterers. New Star Caterers and Ivan Kail you ROCK!
