“Food was amazing & came out fast. Yenifel offered a wonderful service. We went for brunch so the atmosphere was nice and calm! Plus we had a baby with us and still everything was accommodating, Music not too loud. I was looking forward to the pineapple rice dish but it was not available until 4pm but once 4pm came, Yenifel was ready to take my order . Yenifel we Love youuu! ?“
“I met my teaching professional here. This is state of the art. Definitely the cream of the crop as it pertains to golf matrix info. The staff was great and I was given a complementary soda. They bring cold water to the golf bays which was a very nice touch of service. It was a great experience. Staff was great. It is the most expensive of the indoor golf venues.“
“First time visit, had the burger with sweet potato fries, the burger was delicious! Sat at the bar and had a mexician coffee martini and all I can say is "can I have another"Would definitely go back but later in the afternoon when there are not so many families there.“
“Joey's Sports Bar & Grill is the best bar in the New York area. Neighbors, friends, and the community get together, laugh, enjoy themselves, and listen to live music in this warm friendly atmosphere that feels like home. Food is great, drinks are great, and the service is great. Tuesday, Thursday night jams with bands and Fridays, Saturdays bands play. Joey’s has got it going on.“
“I love this place. I went for brunch with a couple friends and got the bottomless Mimosa option. Drinks were flowing, food was delicious, and the service was phenomenal. I still recommend the tres leches french toast. Don't forget to mix your mimosa flavors like cranberry and pineapple. I recommend for a weekend brunch.“
“In terms of Pubs in the neighborhood by far one of the best, owner cares about the customers, great during lunch/ dinner hours, plenty of entertainment also, great for athletic teams to go to as there are plenty of booths to sit in available 10/10.“
“Sports bar located in Concourse Village in southwest Bronx, 300 meters from Yankee Stadium. It's a popular place to gather before New York Yankees home games, where fans can eat and drink before heading to the stadium or they can watch the game on the many screens. Its address is 836 River Avenue Bronx in New York.“
“A warm inviting Irish bar with- surprise! A beautiful stage set up with wonderful sound man and of course-Sunday nights the treat is seeing legendary music promoter FRANK WOOD work his magic.Another surprise - the bar regulars actually come to the back room to listen to the music! Friendly crowd , nice bartenders, generous drinks! Easily accessible from R train- come visit this gem of a bar!“
“Place is very cool spot, Staff are very cool, Everytime we go it’s full house food is great,Best spot to watch all the UFC events etc, if you're looking for a cozy sports bar in Astoria, Murphy's is the place to be. Highly recommended!“
“Perfect place to watch the Yankees game if you are not at Yankee stadium. The Ambience is Yankee team friendly, I almost thought I was in the stadium. Great food and amazing environment and extraordinary service...Definitely looking forward to coming back here“
“Delicious food, my steak frites sandwich was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is exactly what you want for a quick lunch, family dinner after little league, or at night with some good music and drinks.Parking: In a strip mallKid-friendliness: Nothing offensive, just a good place to eat.“
“I absolutely love Mazzy’s! Cheyenne (the owner) is a sweetheart, and so is everyone she employs. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The decor is super cute, service is quick, and drinks are great. I’m also very fond of the electronic games they have. Last time I went was for a special event, and I can’t recommend going on a night like that enough. Costume contest, an excellent drag performance, crafts, and partnering with a local org that does good work: the whole package.“
“The waiter we had was on point ! Even suggested we request songs cause he saw we was having a good time ! That was nice of him ! Love the rum punch drinks ! Only thing is we waited alittle cause all the hostess & waitress was smoking hookah at the back ?“
“when we got to the front door of this place, the bartender came out and opened the door to welcome us. We were just going to stay for one drink, but we stayed much longer. Everybody was so friendly, and the drinks are really really generous. what a great dive bar!“
“The atmosphere was good and staff was very accommodating. I've been here many times and it is always a great experience. The food is great. (The steak had amazing flavor)Parking: The stress of having to run back and forth to put money into the meters makes for an uncomfortable visit.“
“This is a nice neighborhood bar and restaurant and our server was so friendly and helpful. We got there early so we chatted with our server while selecting our drinks. My husband had Guinness Half and half, and I struggled because there were no sours on tap or in cans. I read the draft list more carefully and selected a Down East Cider after having a taste. It was a good choice with a strong apple flavor, a little carbonation and a medium sweetness The menu looked good and the specials sounded nice and next time we will give it a try. Several TV's for watching sports!“
“Unexpected visit and I was very pleased. My friend and I were welcomed, immediately. The waitress was very attentive and informative. I had the grilled chicken wrap, which was very delicious. Overall their menu, is affordable. Can’t wait to go back!“
“Great dive bar right next to the 30th St subway stop. When my friends and I noticed they had $3 PBRs, we were sold. Bartender also gave us a buyback on our 3rd beer! Too bad they didn't serve any food though. Very mixed crowd of all ages. They have bands on weekends sometimes and I noticed they had a sign indicating live Bluegrass Sundays. If they ever got a jukebox that only played Irish and bluegrass music, then I would give them 5 stars. But, had to take away a star for the crappy music some people were playing on the jukebox.“
“Wasn’t sure what to expect when I stopped here for a quick dinner. Is it a sports bar? Is it a bistro tavern? It kind of has a sports bar feel when you walk in but then it leads to a compact, cozy dining room. French Onion Soup was decent. Burger was very good - fries that came with it were top notch. Service was friendly and efficient. I might stop by again if I’m in the area.“
“My co-workers and I went there for brunch on Sunday, and the $40.00 bottomless drinks and meal were great! I had Sangria with chicken and waffles. The music was great, a little of everything which we enjoyed, I would recommend this spot, especially if you're on a budget and like music. The place is a little small but I think you will have a nice time there.“
“The music was old school all the way. It was a birthday Celebration for my niece. The crowd is 40 and up. The barmaids were Amazing. It's not a really big place more like a neighborhood bar. They also give food so the make sure you eat and not be drunk in their place.“
“We got there early when it was still quiet, but once the restaurant gets fuller, it becomes difficult to have a conversation. The menu listed on OpenTable is misleading as to pricing which has increased considerably. Portions are good, but focused on the fries and chips which are more than plentiful. We've been here many times and always enjoy a good meal.“
“I've been dining here since the new Yankee Stadium was built. Food is always great, service is exceptional and the atmosphere bis always chill. On this day, I was invited to a business lunch and I normally don't order the steak but I took a chance. Not a great choice. Steak was subpar. I always order my steak medium. It wasn't flavorful. Green Beans and Yukon Mashed Potatoes were ok. The problem was everything came out the kitchen lukewarm and not hot. I've had plenty of steak from different restaurants and this was probably the worst. Outside of this experience, I always enjoy my time there. I hope they see this review.Wheelchair accessibility: It's in Yankee Stadium and there's a ramp there for Wheelchair access.“
“This is a great place to go with a group of friends. It is very spacious and boasts an assortment of games. The most popular offerings are the large amount of pool tables and the two ping pong tables. However, they also have some arcade machines with basketball, foosball, darts, and more. And you can even play board games like Connect 4, and Jenga. The food is nothing special, but this is a place to go to hang out - not to eat good food. It's your typical bar food (french fries, burgers, nachos). The drinks are fine though. They have a decent selection of beers and the bartender can make you any cocktail you wish. For a large and laid back place to relax, I recommend Break Bar. You'll definitely have fun here.“
“Excellent watering hole! Nice drink variety. Kind and capable, Irish bartenders. Behan's hosts a more mature clientele. One can sit here, enjoy and pint with friends, and/or think a little without all the craziness. Clean bathrooms here along with ample seating, indoors and out. Two thumbs up!“
“My boyfriend and I LOVE going to this place! Great pool tables, amazing private karaoke rooms, delicious food & drinks. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We still come here even when we moved an hour away to have fun! 100% recommend — thank you!!!“
“Really great place. Found this place when looking for a late night place to eat as we were picking someone up from JFK, and we are from out of town. The website said open to 4am. We made a reservation for 11 and were told the kitchen closes at midnight. We were running late they called us and let us get there at 11:40. They're was 12 of us! Great food, and friendly even though they were closing. Would definitely come back if in the area. The entire party enjoyed. Special shoutout to Eleanor, she was amazing“
“Stopped by for lunch this past Sunday with my family. I was told that they have a Cuban sandwich on the menu. As a Cuban American, I was intrigued. It's an Irish restaurant, how good can it be? Unfortunately, they were only serving the brunch menu and the sandwich wasn't on it . When I mentioned to our waitress that I was there to try their Cuban sandwich she immediately went to the kitchen and thankfully was able to get it made for me. I was pleasantly surprised, the sandwich was delicious. It was perfectly seasoned and the Swiss cheese was melted nicely. My wife and kids all had a burger and I tried my wife's. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Next time I am ordering one. Overall, the service was great, and everyone was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend .“
“This is a pretty standard sports bar with plenty of TVs, lots of drink options and a pretty extensive menu. I just came here to drink and they had a few IPAs which I was happy about. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I'll come back and try the food.“
“We had the VFW in Astoria booked for a celebration of life for my mom and brother. We waited and waited and no one showed up to let us in. A crowd began to gather and still no word from the VFW. My wife and sister searched the area and stumbled up The Local. They explained our situation and the bartender was more than accommodating. We were able to use the outside area which was quite spacious and bring our own food!!! All they asked was that we bought some drinks(which were amazing!!!) I will definitely visit the Local whenever I'm in Astoria!!!“
“This was my first time visiting the rabbit hole. I was walking by and saw the happy hour deal so I popped in. I got $1 wings (Thai chili) and they had many flavors but these were really good. The aesthetic was dope, great music. Just an overall good vibe. The bartender selection was very welcoming, sociable and great host. Def won’t be my last time here“
“This bar is seriously my favorite pub. The bar tenders are responsive and conversational amd with most bartenders there are generous buy-backs. The patrons are kind, fun and conversational. I drink a bit, and am loyal to the place where shane McGowan was a regular in recent times past. Ask for aron, eric, or robbie and these blokes will treat you right.“
“Has to be hands down the best Colombian food I have had! So I have been going to this restaurant for a few years now and it has never disappointed! The food, staff and atmosphere is top notch. For the cost of the food compared to how it tastes and quantity, you cannot go wrong! It's so good! The ambience is amazing, gives you traditional Colombian vibes and they offer live music on Friday, Saturday and Sundays! They feature different soup each day and they are all delicious! Highly recommend!“
“Wow. This place has been an inside joke between me and my dad for the longest time and neither of us had gone. We went in tonight and I was beyond pleaseantly surprised. The food was great and inexpensive. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be coming back.“
“Stopped in here for a drink or two on thanksgiving eve as the rest of McLean Ave was way too crowded. It was a really fun atmosphere as soon as we stepped in. We didn't know anyone but didn't feel uncomfortable at all. There was a DJ playing some great throwbacks, and the drinks were a real size instead of the tiny ones they were giving out up the street. Definitely made our night worthwhile.“
“Great prices on drinks you won't find anywhere else - although they do not serve food, won't mind you bringing outside food and eating there - friendly staff and very attentive to the crowd - awesome music and ambiance - although far from where I live will be making another appearance soon!“
“Overall experience was great finally a respectful grown up party looking forward to celebrating my 59 bday April 3 but far as the food friend chicken taste little spoil no seasonin all potatoes tot were not done well no crisp to them and no salt can I rent the kitchen to sell “
“Chill bar with big lawn games inside, huge TVs above bar, plenty of seating. Food was really good and priced well. The service is good, staff is attentive and bathrooms are clean. Parking is available for the Tangram mall. I would come back with friends and chill. Bartender mentioned that they have a DJ on Saturday nights so that might be something to check out.“
“We were lucky to find this place! The owner and staff were extremely accomodating of our large impromptu party. We felt very welcomed + were treated like friends. They had a decent selection of beers. Shannon is a bit informal and goofy, and may notbe everyones cup of tea, but I was very happy to be in her bar!“
“We had some time to kill before an event and this place showed us a great time. Their DJ was fantastic! He knew we weren't regulars and still made us welcome. The food was perfect, if I am drinking I need perfect wings and they hooked it up. All in all the staff was friendly and the space was great I would definitely go back to enjoy another night.“
“I went back home after years, and home too me is Spectators. If you want to really "feel" New Rochelle, you want to be at Spectators. Don't hesitate period.! Thank you Gary and Steve and all of you that my stay so great...the best always. See ya again.“
“I recently came from the UK on a vacation to NYC, I was suggested by a couple of the locals to try out applebees, that’s when I first ran into one of the cashiers by the name of Adrien, he served me wonderfully and made sure I felt at home, the food was great and experience overall was comforting, I’ll make sure to visit again.“
“Came here on a Sunday, and the place was lively. The bartender was friendly and attentive, the patrons are friendly and there is a relatively large selection of beers, wines and liquors available. Since it was a Sunday during football season, there was also food available for patrons. I will have to visit again to give a more thorough review, but my one experience was great and I plan on visiting again soon.Parking: Parking can be difficult depending on when you go, so please keep that in mind.“
“Fantastic spot with so much character. Owner is a charming generous gentleman. Staff are caring, helpful, and responsive. Great place to spend time with a lot of characters in our beautiful community.Just got a new pinball table in - Nascar. So much fun to play and affordable. 3 games for 2 dollars. Also it awards free games for high scores and for matching the winning numbers with your score when you finish a game. You'll hear a loud knock sound from the back of the machine. It's a good thing! It means you won a free game! Great for playing alone, or for competing against each other for high scores!“
“The quesadilla I had, was fantastic! Definitely coming back for that. Unfortunately- even on a not busy afternoon, I had to flag down the bartender for a drink every time. And it’s not as if he was busy - he was standing at the end of the bar chatting with other customers for about 10 minutes without paying attention to the other 4 people at the bar. I had to verbally try to get his attention in order to order another drink. That’s not a sign of a good bartender.“
“I stopped in after an evening rehearsal and was greeted kindly by the bartender. The kitchen was open late and I ordered the chicken tenders with french fries and let me tell you they were absolutely scrumptious! The beer on tap was also top notch and the calm ambience was just what I needed after a long day.Highly recommend you stop by and say hi!“
“I cannot stress this enough but this is such a hidden gem for a lounge in all of Flushing. The atmosphere was great, there was beer pong table set up, a darts machine to play, and karaoke going on with individual rooms if you want a more private area to sing your heart out. The staff was amazing and so polite. They were attentive and made sure you were okay and having a great time. HIGHLY recommended (:“
“Friendly and accommodating. 2 TVs and they're happy to put on whatever game or race you want to watch. Impressive beer selection. They're rennovating the kitchen. so there's currently no food. Bottles and cans only for now, probably related to the kitchen, but said they'd have taps running again soon.“
“Was seated quickly. My waitress was awesome. She checked on me frequently and made sure I had everything I needed. I like how the owner checks on the customers personally. Had the soft shell chicken tacos and chicken sliders. Both were delicious. Prices are modest. Nice size food portions. Didn't know there was a parking lot. Found street parking easily. Will be going again.“
