Up to date tables & chairs give this tiny tavern a happy feel.We are traveling the canal this summer?️ & read the great reviews on the food, so gave it a try. It's just a short walk from the visitors centre. The reasonable prices certainly helped with that decision, but it was the promise of good food that got us. We appreciate a chef who puts effort & attention into their creations & that's what the reviews highlighted.No disappointment, ?the food was excellent & the attention to detail was evident. Thank you to the chef! ?The service was friendly, kind & perfect! Thank you to our great server. ?The Angry Penguin is a neighbourhood gem! ??
