Gus's is a legendary culinary institution in blue collar Watervliet. It is greasy, messy, inexpensive, unhealthy, and monumentally a must-do Capital District bucket list visit. I grew up across the river in Troy, NY, but I've lived in Central Virginia for 20 years. I visit Gus's every time I return to visit my family.”

“Compared to all the other Chinese around Latham that are not great at all golden house was the best BY far we ever had ! I am glad we stumbled upon them ! Everything was flavorful the crab ragoon was actually stuffed with more than a 1/2 teaspoon of filling ! The sesame chicken was not overcooked and the Mongolian beef was very flavorful , yes a lot of onions but I like it that way ! For the price it for sure was amazing rather than spending 100 on yangs( love their sushi) or anywhere around for mid/ overcooked no flavor . I would order again for sure ! And the house “cow mein” delish! The delivery driver so nice and fast !”
