“Went here last weekend to have lunch with our daughter who goes to St. Johns. Parked right on the corner (Metered ) no parking lot for those wanting to know. Mostly college crowd. Service was quick and good. Photos from others are the same as ours so i won't post. We would definitely go back again.“

“As you walk in the Restaurant, you immediately get a homey atmosphere in this place! The food was served very quickly. The Authentic Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup is excellent as the broth is very thick and flavorful. The beef that they use is half tendon half meat, which is the best combo that a merchant can use when preparing this dish! Overall, the food is excellent! I would definitely come back again! As a bonus, their pickled cabbage and peanuts side dish are excellent too!“

“OMG Tasty House serves some of the best food I've ever tried, I've never had Vietnamese before, I'm such a fan now. The seating area is small and quaint, but the atmosphere is welcoming. Manna our hostess was friendly and helpful. She answered every question and explained the menu items and specials. I had Pho Special and my wife the Curry Chicken, we also tried the scallion pancakes and delicious mango milk tea. Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be returning soon. Thank you so much!!“

“Came here on a cold rainy Thursday for lunch. Looks like a mom and pop restaurant that seats a total of 13 comfortably. We ordered the Combo Ramen and the Yoodon Kimbap. The Combo Ramen (medium spicy) wasn’t that spicy, but good enough for me. It definitely hit the spot on this rainy day. The Yoodon Kimbap is a kimbap that is wrapped in a thin sliced pork cutlet topped with a sauce that they made. This combination worked really well and the soup that it came with paired perfectly with it. I hope to visit again and try their other dishes.“

“We were looking for a place to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday. We live in Manhattan and needed a place where we could host up to 80 people with easy parking and good food. All of the usual ideas weren’t cutting it for us so my father-in-law who lives in Woodmere suggested Jackie’s place as an option. My wife was a little hesitant at first. I think she had her mind made up with some of the more traditional options like an ice cream parlor or room somewhere with catering. But her father and Jackie talked some more and sent her pictures of the location and the idea of hosting here grew on her.Jackie had never hosted this kind of party but he and my wife worked out the details in terms of setting up a buffet, the right cost per person, the time (on Feb 10, Chinese New Year) and the decorations. Everyone was a little nervous, including her father who kind of felt like he set us up on a blind date: we hadn’t had the food or actually visited the place.Cut to the party and it wound up being absolutely amazing in every regard. My biggest concern was the food. My family loves Chinese and who knew it would be so delicious. I knew the other details would be fine in the end and people being together would make the party fine regardless, but bad food would have been trouble. Not only was the food not bad, it was truly Delicious! We had trays of dumplings, spring rolls, cold sesame noodles (often tough to get good ones but not here!), Sesame chicken, pork chow fun, shrimp with vegetables, lo meins, fried rices, Mongolian beef, and lots more. We figured we would have food to take home and were shocked at just how little left overs there were. And this was not due to lack of volume but instead to how much everyone ate.I could say lots more about Jackie’s first time hosting an affair like this, and about him as a host, and about the party being so successful. But bottom lines are these:1. If hosting a kid’s birthday or other such event at a Chinese restaurant wasn’t a thing, it should be now2. Call Jackie to host your next event. You won’t be sorry3. Come any time for a meal or takeout. If Delicis was in downtown Manhattan, it would be insanely popularThanks Jackie and Delicis staff for your time, communication and amazing food. Hoping you start hosting events like ours more frequently!“

“I've been consistently coming to Chimama's for several years now and my go to is their Niu Rou Mian (Beef noodle soup). It has never disappointed me and always hits home whenever I'm craving it. I also really like the concept of their restaurant, which is self service for drinks and utensils. The restaurant was packed when I arrived at 7:30pm on a Friday night. We ordered the fried pork chop over rice, a side of the pork belly, and of course my favorite beef noodle soup. Everything came out promptly and was plated nicely. The noodle soup had a deep and flavorful broth. The beef pieces were plentiful and super soft upon each bite. The noodles were perfectly bouncy yet firm and was the perfect thickness. The pork chop over rice isn't my favorite here since their pork chop is quite thin and isn't fried with the typical pork chop breading. I personally wouldn't get this again but will try other dishes.“

“When you're feeling down or lost or sad, come to this place. It's the perfect place for comfort food and for no-nonsense ordering. My grandma never made me any of the dishes at this restaurant, but if she did, I'd imagine it to taste like this. When I first visited, it was a rainy day and I just got a bunch of work to do because I couldn't speak up for myself and say that I already had a lot on my plate. In my little funk, I went to this place and ordered a bunch of carbs for myself; I think I ordered noodles, you tiao, and dumplings. The dumplings were so good, it's not the thick skin type; the ramen wasn't too spicy and the noodles didn't feel old, they felt fresh. The food wasn't extremely fancy but it was good :)“

“I have never dined in here, but the space is cozy and pleasant when I go to pick up food. I also haven’t done delivery, so can’t speak to that. I’ve been ordering from Mizuno since 2019 at least. Their sushi and food is consistently fresh and delicious. Picking up is fast and easy. The packaging for takeout is excellent and protects the integrity of the food and flavor. They are a hidden gem on Long Island. 100% recommend them to anyone.“

“This is my go to spot! They have the freshest sashimi mackerel. When we need a fast sushi fix, we go here. I have never ordered from here and didn't have anything that didn't taste good. Wish it was a larger location to sit in and eat. You could before, but it's really small and due to COVID, you can only do take out now. Definitely a go to spot!“

“3.75* This was an interesting restaurant experience because the name suggests Americanized Chinese takeout (which they do offer) but they surprisingly also offer authentic Cantonese roast meats like soy sauce chicken, roast pork, and roast duck when the owners are not even Cantonese (imagine my confusion). I have a friend who lives in the area so we've gotten food to-go from here a few times now. Their soy sauce chicken was quite average, on the salty side, unevenly cut, and pieces of bone were found everywhere. Nothing to write home about. In fact, I didn't even bother to take pictures. Luckily their duck lives up to the name - the roast duck, that is. I tried both the roast duck and the Peking duck. It's the cheapest price point I've ever seen Peking duck sold for but if I must be honest, besides the noticeably crispier skin compared to the normal roast duck, it doesn't even taste like Peking duck. The meat of the Peking duck is under-seasoned and dry, and the wraps they give you are literally tortillas, not the traditional thin Peking duck wrap - the Peking duck's crispy skin was really its only saving grace so I'm not likely to get it again. Now onto my favorite thus far: the roast duck was flavorful with no gaminess and was more on the oily side but that helps lock the moisture in the meat so that it remains juicy and tender (I just tap the oil off each piece I grab onto some rice or the sides of the container). The roast pork is decent but a little heavy on the food coloring and not as sweet as it generally should be. There are far better options for that in Flushing. I like that most things on the menu are budget friendly and they have loads of options so even if you're not into Canto cuisine, you're very likely to find something you like at an economical pricepoint. Honorable mentions: Buffalo wings and chicken nuggets (for our picky eaters!)“

“4.9/5.0Been looking for a very good Chinese takeout place near home. We finally found it. We will be regulars here.Beef with Garlic sauce - 5/5. Beef is a bit thicker cut but still tender. Flavors are spot on 5/5.General Tso Chicken - 4.9/5. It’s long strips of white meat chicken surrounded by a thick batter approximately 3-4mm thickness. It’s too thick, should be lightly coated, half meat and half batter. Outside is very crispy. The sauce is a bit sweet than I like.Thai Curry Chicken - 5/5. I usually don’t like this dish, my wife loves it. But with this dish, I couldn’t stop eating it. Flavor is 5/5, one of the best I had so far. Sauce is thicker than usual but I think it works for this dish, more flavor instead of the liquidity sauce other takeout places make it.Egg rolls. 4.0/5. Very crispy on outside. Flavor is 4.5/5. What makes this dish rated poorly is the filling, it’s mushy. Had far worse egg rolls but wish it wasn’t mushy. Flavor is certainly there. There are 3 tables for dine in, two 4 seaters, one 2 seater. If you dine in, you’ll get thick Dixie/Walmart generic quality disposable plates, not the flimsy pizza paper plates or styrofoam plates like many other places serve. Utensils also nice decent quality that you can actually use to cut meat with, not the thin plastic flimsy knives that bend.Service was top notch considering for a takeout place, guy brought out the food twice on a tray as it was ready. Other places just simply say food ready for pick up.“

“Chinese beef dishes at its best and there are tons of creativity in there. They have several dishes that's quiet unique. 牛掌,Cha Siew, the beef stew are recommended. Additionally I think their beef sauce lo mein / rice noodle is so good that I've repeat this order several times already, it can not be found anywhere else, there are something special to it.“

“Finally opened after many visits…This is a food stall that offers self seating in a food court within a supermarket. The line was busy but it moved quickly. I placed my order and the food was ready for takeout in 5 minutes.I’m really glad I can enjoy the food here without having to drive to Bayside or Flushing. The location is ideal. Cash is preferable, charge incurs a 4% fee.The food quality is similar. The duck is good, better after it is reheated in oven at 325 degrees for 3 minutes.1 star was deducted because my order was given by mistake to another customer. Luckily the customer returned after 1 minute without opening the packed brown bag. The guy seemed flustered.Overall, happy with the dishes and venue ??“

“I have to tell you I have been trying all the local Chinese restaurants since Covid and nothing has been even edible. It’s been pointing and every time I try another so I won’t mention the names but I will say every other from Hewlett Woodmere no not even say to her in with Lawrrnce everything you can think of not even edible.Yesterday I finally found the most wonderful wonderful Chinese food and not only that they were able to speak to me on the phone and fill all my request . Could not have been easier and surprisingly oh that was the distance was further away then most the delivery time was almost half of the others. Forget everything you remember when you’re looking for Chinese delivery you must call D&Y kitchen . Trust me you won’t regret it❤️Enjoy your meal!!!!!“

“Busy spot but you get your food super quick! We got 3 orders of soup dumplings to try a variety and we each got a free roast duck bun. We also got a really big soup dumpling that they're known for and that did not disappoint. It was so flavorful and filled with crab meat. I liked it a lot! After the meal, we got a complimentary dessert to wash everything down. Totally worth it!“

“Good carry out HK Style spot. I especially enjoy the Spaghetti with Meat Sauce. It's on the sweeter side with generous sauce! The Chicken and Mushroom is another favorite. However the Curry Fishball and Curry Chicken over rice was lacking. Overall it's a good home made style dishes over rice. The Steam Rice Roll with sweet and peanut cause is very good too, be sure to ask for extra sauce! The prices are reasonable. Order ahead of time for pickup they aren't not to fastest so give them a solid 20 minutes.“

“Love me a good hole in the wall spot. This place is very cozy and small. One hibachi table inside that sits 10. And about 10 regular tables. The chef was funny and very accommodating to special requests. I had the steak medium which he actually did medium thankfully. Shrimp was clean! Clap it up for no veins! Lol this passion fruit tea was actually really really delicious. Not too sweet as some passion fruit flavored drinks are. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the scallion pancakes. Maybe if you do just put in the request for it to be crispy. If you are like me and enjoy it that way. Otherwise I'll be back“

The owner was incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring I had a seamless dining experience. As for the food, it was beyond delicious! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The pho was hands down the best I've ever had, and the spring rolls were divine. The menu offers a great variety, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. Portions were generous, and prices were reasonable considering the quality of food and service.Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. “Big bang puts alllll (literally all) other poke bowl places to shame. Their poke bowls are like no other. I live 35-40 minutes away and I travel to big bang every single time I'm in the mood for a poke bowl. I've tried the many places near my house and it just isn't good. It's so worth the drive. Give it a try“
