The one waitstaff that was there hustled throughout the whole night waiting on, serving and repeatedly checking in with our party of 9 adults. Don't go there if you are in a hurry, meals were made to order and take a while, however it is worth the wait and it definitely gives you time to talk to loved ones and friends. “Top shelf!!! We had a group of 17 for lunch. Everyone raved about the excellent food and the wonderful and friendly service. Our menu included London Broil, Salmon, Ceasars Salad with Chicken and Vegetable Quiche with side salad. We had a variety of servings. Everything was sooooo good! Best restaurant in Kingston. “Love, love, love, Frank Guido’s. It is authentic Italian, and as an Italian from The Bronx, I know from what I speak. The food is beautifully seasoned, consistent with traditional Italian spices. The bacon was thick and cooked perfectly and there was a lot of it, more bacon than anything, and I am not complaining, the lettuce was crisp and fresh, and the tomato was also firm and Fresh. My son ordered the breakfast pancakes. It came in a stack of three, and they were huge. He was very pleased with them. Our youngest ordered a grilled cheese. It was cooked perfectly, and their bread choice was not as thick as a Texas toast, but thicker than a standard loaf slice. One child ordered a classic cheeseburger, he said that it was cooked to a perfect medium, and the vegetables were just as fresh as the ones on my BLT. “Decided to go for breakfast. This diner is only about 15 minutes from me. it definitely looks like the 1970s inside. Nothing much has changed in all these years. They had some other good breakfast specials so I decided to go with their biscuits and gravy sausage gravy with potatoes and I added an egg the service was very friendly. Some locals were sitting at the counter around With the waitress looks like the owner may have come out and talked to them as well. My food came out and it looked very good. The sausage gravy had a good flavor. I didn't see that many chunks of sausage in the gravy however. The potatoes were cooked very nicely Crispy and tasty the egg was made just right. The biscuits were fresh and fluffy. Definitely a good value as well. Good Hardy portion I've heard that the burgers are made at the diner. Too often diners just get those frozen burgers and they all have the same consistency and taste. Out of the good number of diners in Kingston. There's one on the main street downtown. That's pretty good as well. Plus one that's a little further down the road I think there's even another one not too far from that one but out of the four this one is the best .“

“Greeted by the owner when walked in and sat at the bar for a cocktail. Bartender Steve was friendly and made a great Manhattan with a heavy pour. Our waitress Michelle was very friendly and accommodating. The calamari appetizer had a light batter with great flavor and the halibut bites were so tasty. Main courses were strip steak, bone in pork chop with apples, chicken Lombardo and cod. All 4 of us raved over the flavors of our meals. Broccoli was amazing as well as their French fries. To top the evening off, the owner Denny stopped by our table and was so friendly and gave us a history of the restaurant. Highly recommend for a date night or any occasion.“
