Can I give ZERO stars? If I could I would. MY wife & I visited HG back in January, met with the manager Manny and was assured that I could have the tent covered back patio for my group dinner of 50+ people. "No problem", I was told. My colleague later confirmed my plans for this evening. He was also told "no problem". Tonight, my 53 attendees arrive and we are ushered inside into a cramped, narrow hallway of a side room where folks had to practically sit on each other's laps to eat the cold buffet food. Service was terrible... bartender would disappear. You had an appetizer choice of cold pizza or fried calamari. I have never seen fried calamari passed around as a finger food appetizer.... no forks or dishes. But what was most annoying was the fact that when I first visited HG, Manny himself showed me that section and I told him NO right then and there. But he couldn't care less... he had my deposit and more importantly, where am I going to go with 50+ without a reservation. It was a classic BAIT & SWITCH. I will never patronize this misleading business again. My corp travel will see to it that our company NEVER goes there again. And I would encourage anyone thinking of booking a corporate dinner NOT to do so... or be ready to be disappointed. ZERO STARS....

Was one of my favorite places for brunch, avacado toast, not any more!! The bread that the avocado toast was on , really bad, way too soft & became mushy & difficult to eat, besides the eggs were on the side, not the way I ordered them, wanted it not runny & of course it was hardly cooked. Sent the eggs back & waited almost 15 minutes for new eggs, almost ready to just get the check & leave. Plus the side salad that was supposed to be organic greens was sorta like a bruschetta & was way too liquidity too. Not a good eating experience. New chef????Plus, extremely noisy even though plenty of empty tables.

Service was excellent. We ate at the bar. The food was amazing and the presentation was great. They even had cloth napkins. It was very reasonably priced. Very good ambience. Pretty much they did everything right. I would highly recommend it.

This is supposed to be a “Birria Quesdilla” that they charge $17.00 for, I will never order from here again.

Surprised by both the beautiful restaurant as well as the unexpected gourmet food prep. Salmon was exceptional.

My son and I went to dinner. Had 1 beer and 1 soda. NY Strip Steak and fries very over cooked. House burger and fries very greasy couldnt eat bun so greasy. Calamari under cooked. Wings were very good. NE Clam Chowder was good. I have ate here many times before and this was the first time I walked away disappointed in the food. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. 2 people cost just under 160.00 with proper 20% tip.

We ordered the Brussel sprouts, a skirt steak, a strip steak and old bay fries. The brussel sprouts were pretty good. The skirt steak was pretty good and the fries were good. The Strip steak was ordered medium rare and was served about medium well. Overall, the meal was pretty good, but definitely not worth the price. For a similar price we could have gone to a steakhouse and gotten really good steaks.

This was Saturday night at 7:15. First impression was the restaurant and bar was very attractive. There is a large enclosed tent area at the back of the restaurant that added many tables and was very well done. Our table was in an odd location but away from the bar area which was very buzzy, not in a bad way, but we preferred the quieter area. We had NE clam chowder, one of the best we ever had. I was audibly enjoying every spoonful. The mussels app was beautifully presented with ample toasted bread. It was quite good. The special salmon with Brussels and butternut squash puree was outstanding. The Branzino was also outstanding. Oddly a starch had to be ordered separately as with a vegetable for the branzino. We had the risotto side which was delicious and enough for three. Tres leches cake was good as well. I recommend Hudson Grill for the food and attentive service and excellent cocktails.

Lovely place for a Sunday afternoon lunch. Very family welcoming - lots of little ones spread around and adults equally having fun.Decent size good proportion and reasonable prices for the food - somewhat unexpected given today's inflation pressures on small businesses.Tremendous selection of wines and beers... Nothing super high end and sufficient to have a good time.

This was my second time here. I had requested a standard table but was brought to a high top and asked them to change that. Then I was brought to a table next to the door where I said I was worried that it would be very drafty. I was told not to worry because that door doesn't even open (not true). My party was freezing so I requested yet another move to a table not near the door. Once we were seated everything was perfect.

Good food. Good service. Reasonable prices. A major plus for us (we have a celiac grandchild) is that they have a lot of gluten free items on the menu and prepare and serve the GF items with care.

Short rib gnocchi and NY Strip steak were delicious. Came in w/o reservations on a Friday night-got seated right away. Meter street parking $1.25/hr. Large bar area and more seating in back. Nice restaurant/bar- lively crowd.
