Had dinner with a friend here. Decor was better than your average "bakery" shop and we were comfortably seated. I had the 1/4 chicken combo with soup. Salad was fresh with light vinaigrette dressing. Fries were crunchy and soft inside. Chicken was dry though and only lukewarm. Still, this is one of the few Columbian choices in Whitestone and prices are reasonable so I would come back.
This place is so underrated. I'm not Colombian but I love Colombian food and everything in this place tastes very authentic and well-prepared. I love their soups and empanadas are made fresh and served hot. I ordered delivery tonight- soup, which came with a side of rice and salad, and empanadas The picture someone else uploaded is definitely NOT what I get when I order from here. Maybe there's a new chef but the last few times I've ordered the food was amazing.

The reviews for Mr Pollo #2 make sense as it wasn't good at all. I had a co-worker order some food for all of us and albeit I didn't have high hopes, I didn't know it was going to be that bad. I got some soup with the fish and what I believe was coleslaw. Out of all 3 thing, I only liked the coleslaw but how can you hate something covered in mayo (I love any and all condiments).
