“This is the best sushi in long island. The quality of the fish is superior, the presentation is flawless and the taste is incredible. The sushi for 2 is consistent every time, the flavors are unbelievably good. They pair each piece of fish with a sauce that will bring out an entire experience. “I ended up at Rustic Root twice this weekend. Once for lunch with my hubby. Great Caesar (we shared), followed up with delicious burgers and fries…best buns ever! I liked the vibe so much that when a friend wanted to meet up for a nice glass of wine, that became our destination. Super friendly bartender Hailey, pointed us to the perfect glass tonight. We paired it with a yummy flatbread to share. Great vibe, great food, great service!”

i’ve probably had every single one of the classic rolls and you just cant go wrong. love the NY roll, green river roll and christmas tree roll!

The person taking my order offered a wealth of information as I am new to this VEGAN thing. She she displayed ***** 's in customer service and very friendly. Her crafty C/S skills secures a return visit from visitors. I dined in for breakfast, chosing the steel cut oats with fruits. It was pretty goodand cooked to perfection. It could have been a tad bit warmer, only because I like mine oatmeal warm to hot.
They also have wellness shots and juices. This has become my go to for vegan dishes?❤️❤️❤️

“We had the absolute best time visiting Frantonis! I found this pizzeria by googling pizza restaurants within walking distance from our hotel and Frantonis had a 💯 rating, so we made our way there. From the moment we walked in the door and saw the pizza lined shelves, the homemade sangria in mason jars, the smell of pizzas being baked and the friendly staff, we knew this was going to be a NY dining experience, not just a quick place to grab a bite to eat. And we weren’t disappointed. The food was incredible! We had a pizza feast and we even got to try the owners favorite’s. We highly recommend Frantonis and we will definitely be back again! 😋”

“I went to this place on the way back from Maryland, wasn't sure what to expect. I couldn't believe all the different type of salads they have on the menu. Each is a meal in itself. The lines can be long around the noon hour and the layout is a but austere, but other than that it is a good option”

“Pretty good food. Looks like a family owned business. I loved the vibe of the restaurant, walking in to what seems like a bodega in Mexico. The lady (might be the mom) was very attentive to all of the customers, she came by our table almost every 5 minutes asking us if we needed anything at all. The free salsa was pretty good. I would def come back when I’m in the area. We ordered a lot of tacos. The carnitas was OK but the spicy pork, al pastor and the sausage tacos was really good. Good food for a very decent price!!!”

“It was very busy when we came but moved relatively quickly to get us a table. The employees seemed a little stressed, one told a customer who was done eating and collecting her things, that she would have to order first before sitting down, not noticing that she already ate. She was very rude about it, even if this woman would have tried to secure a seat before ordering the tone was not ok. When the person taking it order asked another employee to move out table so that 3 people could sit, that employee was clearly not happy about it and made a comment. The food was good though.”
