“First time eating Bolivian food and it was out of this world! Saltenas were rich, juicy, and hearty (start at one end) and the Sopa de Mani is not at all what I expected peanut soup to taste like. think of Rich complex New England clam chowder without the clams. really no peanutty taste at all. the owner was wonderful as well”

Definitely one of those hidden gems you’ll want to come back to again and again. Highly recommend for brunch, coffee dates.
Top notch Potato Achar on the side it totally gives Nepali vibes”
“Went out to Queens with my family and randomly found this amazing Nepalese restaurant. The momo and all Nepalese food I ordered were really good, and honestly, the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality.
The place was clean, the food tasted fresh, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Compared to a lot of Nepalese restaurants I’ve tried in New York, this one really stood out. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re looking for good Nepali food in Queens.”

“I have been eating here since they opened! And somehow everything is consistently great night after night. They do have a few variations in winter, but the regular menus has something for everybody. The staff are polite and gentle, making the whole experience feel very welcoming. I was also impressed by how quickly my order was prepared — I didn’t have to wait long at all. Overall, it’s a place where you can enjoy both great milk tea and warm service.”

“Visiting JUICE N’ BEATZ was a fun and energetic experience. The place has a lively atmosphere that combines music-driven energy with a relaxed, social vibe. The interior feels modern and creative, giving it a unique personality that stands out from typical juice spots. The service was friendly and upbeat, which matched the overall mood of the place. The drinks were fresh and flavorful, with a good variety of options that feel both refreshing and well-prepared. Overall, it is a great spot to enjoy a casual drink, hang out, and experience a positive, music-inspired environment in the city.”
“Working with Woodside Gourmet Deli has been a great experience. Their team, especially Asheet, is highly professional and responsive. The quality of service and attention to detail they provide is truly commendable. I highly recommend collaborating with them for any deli-related needs.”
“I’ve never had a bad experience at this McDonald’s location. It can get busy, especially with a school right across the street, but the staff usually keeps things moving.
The customer service has been good, and the food has always come out hot and fresh whenever I’ve stopped by. It’s a busy area, but this location handles the traffic pretty well.”
“Great spot if you like to be in a dark room with torn up furniture, questionable waitresses which seem to offer more than drinks and the security looking ready to rough you up. Oh and don’t forget to take a deep breath before walking in. There is a certain odor when you walk in.”
“Wonderful little Italian restaurant with wonderful Italian dishes w/ nightly specials good fine and cocktail bar”

“Great experience with their indoor dining. Friendly Staff especially Elias whose is very accommodating and helpful. Food is also great especially their family pizza, salads and Fred Calamari. “Great café right by the Woodside LIRR. Delicious pastries, solid coffee, and a clean, comfortable space with tables with outlets for working. It connects to the laundromat next door, which is a unique bonus, and there’s also a bar. Staff are consistently friendly and welcoming.”
“I wish I could give Jessica and the amazing team at Carvel in Woodside more than 5 stars! They always come through with amazing designs and beautiful cakes whenever we need. Most recently I surprised my son's class with Lunar new year ice cream cups and they were so beautiful! Everyone was blown away. Thank you as always for being a wonderful community member, for having the best ice cream and for bringing smiles to kids and adults alike! 😍”

“If you’re in Queens and you haven’t been to Broski Grill yet, you’re sleeping. This is the city that set the standard for halal street food — and Broski Grill is holding that flag with both hands.
I got the combo over rice with fries — crinkle cut — loaded with chipotle sauce, white sauce, hot sauce, and green sauce. Look at that box. That’s not a meal, that’s a flex.
The rice is a proper base, the meat is seasoned right, and the crinkle cuts hold up under all that sauce without going limp — which tells you the fries are fresh and the timing is on point. The sauce game is elite. White sauce is herby and creamy, the hot sauce brings real heat, the green sauce adds that fresh brightness, and the chipotle ties the whole thing together. Every bite hits different depending on what combination lands on the fork.
But what separates Broski Grill from every other spot on the block is the people. The owners genuinely care. They hook it up every time — not because you asked, but because that’s just how they’re built. That kind of love is rare anywhere, but especially in a city that moves as fast as New York. You feel it when you step up to the window and you feel it when you crack open that clamshell.
This is Queens halal done right — generous, seasoned with intention, and backed by real hospitality.
FEELS LIKE CLEAN HALAL - you go crazy with the sauce up to you. It ain’t no greasy cart food!!”
“This establishment is truly exceptional. The family who runs it is wonderful, and their customer service is outstanding. They consistently treat me with great warmth and kindness. I have a deep affection for them and their food. I initially discovered them through Too Good To Go. Their offerings are consistently fresh, of high quality, and possess an amazing taste.”
“Great spot if you like to be in a dark room with torn up furniture, questionable waitresses which seem to offer more than drinks and the security looking ready to rough you up. Oh and don’t forget to take a deep breath before walking in. There is a certain odor when you walk in.”
“Pretty good bulgogi bowl. I ordered for delivery and the presentation of the food in the bowl shows that they obviously care about how their food looks as much as they care about how it tastes. I think the portion size was fine (the bowl may look small in width, but it was actually pretty deep). I had enough to have leftovers twice.”
“Been there a few times. I must say food is fantastic!!! The fish tacos and the southwestern chicken sandwich is a must try. They have different specials everyday. Friendly atmosphere, service is very attentive. Love trivia nights and live music on Saturdays. So far is my favorite place to go with friends and family. Great spot for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Highly recommended!!”
“Go-to neighborhood spot that stays until relatively late.
6 stars for service and specifically Paolo- always polite, smiling and great service
-2 stars for the bouncers: poor attitude, rude with the illusion that they have authority. It would be great if they can get real; ID reading barely makes them different that the rest of us - haha
5 stars for the beer: great draft and bottled variety
5 stars for the music!
Overall 4 stars, just because the bouncers kill the vibe.”

“(3.8/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️)Local late night taco truck ! You can’t go wrong if you want some Mexican during late hours. Over all I don’t think they’re out of this world - I don’t think they’re bad. I think they’re a convenient taco truck. I tried birria tonight but I’ve had their tacos quesadillas and tostadas.”
“I waited the absolute last minute to order a cake for my daughter's 18th birthday and Maison de Gateaux did not disappoint. I showed them an inspiration photo less than 2 weeks before the event, chose the flavors and prayed it was beautiful and delicious! I was able to pick up the cake at 9AM when they first opened the day after the holiday and crossed my fingers. The cake was beautiful. No... It was simply STUNNING. It captured the color that I wanted for the cake and the simplicity of the design of it. My daughter loved the cake. It was also delicious (we ordered the lemon cake and cannoli; bottom and top tier respectively). It was also budget friendly. I got the 8" and 10" which was more than enough for sharing. Thank you Maison de Gateaux for being a part of my daughter's special day! more power to you.”
“This is one of my favorite local spots! The food is delicious and never misses. I always get an al pastor and a chorizo taco. It’s affordable, quick, and easy! Their other dishes are also super yummy. A few tables if you want to dine in, but also still tastes great as takeout.”
“First time today. This place rocks. Maybe the best noodles and dumplings in Queens. The vibe is no vibe which is a vibe. Order, sit, eat. Freaking delicious. Person working was super nice. Will be in our weekly lunch rotation. Thanks xi’an, can’t wait to try the entire menu.”
“Reyes, located in Woodside, Queens, is a fantastic Dominican restaurant that offers a true taste of the Dominican Republic. The standout feature of this cozy spot is their Dominican breakfast, which is a perfect way to start the day. From the classic *mangú* (mashed plantains) to *queso frito* (fried cheese) and *salami*—all served with a side of crispy *mangú* and scrambled eggs—each bite is bursting with flavor and authenticity.
Aside from breakfast, Reyes delivers an array of authentic Dominican dishes that are expertly prepared. The *sancocho* (a hearty meat stew) and *mofongo* (fried plantain mash) are particularly popular, offering rich, savory flavors that transport you straight to the heart of the Caribbean. Their *chicharrón de pollo* (fried chicken) and *arroz con habichuelas* (rice and beans) are also must-tries, showcasing the best of Dominican comfort food.
The only drawback is that Reyes is closed from Friday to Monday, which can make it a bit tricky to get a taste of their delicious offerings during the weekend. Nonetheless, if you're in the area and craving authentic Dominican food, Reyes is definitely worth the visit. The flavors, the quality, and the friendly atmosphere make it a standout spot in Woodside.”
“Delicious tamales right underneath the Woodside - 61 St station for 7 train and LIRR. Got two salsa verde tamales for $2 and they were fresh, spicy, and delicious, with tender chicken and great salsa. Delicious to have hot tamales during winter. Great value; will definitely be coming back to try the mole tamales.”
“Probably the best Filipino bakery in NY/NJ area. The breads and pastries makes you miss home. Ube breads are the best! Location: It is located in Roosevelt along all the Filipino stores and restaurants. The taho are outside of the store. Service: she was nice. Filipino hospitality at its best! Food: The breads are delicious, fluffy and still good after few days. UBE PANDESAL: to me this was the best I had unlike online seller this has visible cheese and ube jam inside the bread. Heat it up in the microwave for 10 seconds and devour its goodness. TAHO: how i miss taho in the Philippines, this breakfast drink is all about my country. Those soft tofu top with boba and syrup is just what I want in my life. Lol. Price rating: 5/10, not that bad for Filipino food cravings. Definitely will eat more here and try more of their breads!! Definitely try ube pandesal and taho!!”
“We always go to Red Panda Restaurant, and it never disappoints! I’ve tried the beef, pork, fried fish, and lollipop chicken—all were really good. The beef jerky is also really good.
My favorite is the vegetable thali. I absolutely love it—so flavorful and satisfying every time.
Definitely one of my go-to spots!”

“What stands out most isn't the menu but the people serving it. The whole menu delivered great flavors. The food quality here is reliable. Their staff adjusted easily, offered help and showed genuine warmth. We experienced remarkable hospitality.”
“I went there after work and the tacos I ordered just hit the spot. And also I like that the food comes to the table very fast.”

“I ordered mutton Taas, dindo mutton thali and khuwa yomari. I was surprised to taste such a delicious Taas ever in my life, not even while in Nepal. I would recommend to try mutton taas for sure. Dhindo thali was amazing too but taas won it. Yomari is my another favourite desert, coming from the same community where this is a separate festival "Yomari purni", i ordered it all the times when I am here.”
“We first had our “taste” of Kabayan when my wife and I were invited by our friends for dinner, last month. We were impressed with the relaxing, friendly ambience of the place, the delicious food and great service of their Staff: QT and Justin. Tonight (April 23rd) we brought our own friends and grown up children to celebrate our Eldest Son’s Birthday. I only have SUPERLATIVES for this Place. Kabayan is the best really. All the food we ordered were excellent ( they have an excellent Chef), the ambience, atmosphere and most especially the great service of : QT and Justin. I even got to meet its Manager tonight, Jen. Very, very gracious and hospitable people and staff. I will bring all our friends and visitors here to Kabayan! I highly recommend Kabayan, “ hindi ka mapapahiya”.”

“This could be because its my first time there so i really dont have a feel for the place but in my experience it was good. I ordered through the app for pick up and the food was ready in a timely manner. I gave then 8 minutes and i think it was ready before that cause when I came in they gave me the box right away no say to give them a few more minutes it was ready. The food was hot and tasted fine for taco bell. All in all I really liked it. It gets a 👍🏼 from me.”

“Kusina Pinoy Bistro is truly one of the best Filipino restaurants in Queens! The food is authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish reminds you of a comforting home-cooked Filipino meal.
What really stood out during our visit was their new Kamayan menu. Not only delicious and generous in portion, but also such a fun and memorable dining experience to share with family and friends. Everything was perfectly seasoned and freshly prepared.
The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. You can really feel the warmth of Filipino hospitality here. The ambiance is also excellent! Clean, cozy, and vibrant without being too crowded (depends on time and day of the week).
Highly recommend Kusina Pinoy Bistro if you’re craving amazing Filipino food in Woodside. Definitely a must-try, especially their new Kamayan menu!”

“I am very happy to have come to eat with my family; everything was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent—truly great hospitality. The person who served us, a very kind gentleman named Juan S., was wonderful; when I finished paying, he let us know that there were free peanuts available right next to the window. Our food arrived in less than 10 minutes. My daughters were absolutely delighted with the taste of the hamburgers and the french fries—they were a true delight! I highly recommend this place.”
