My wife and I are looking at moving to Sunnyside and stumbled across the gem. The service was impeccable and the food left our jaws on the ground. Not only were the sauces fantastic, the portion sizes are larger than we've seen at a restaurant in a long time. For the two of us to get a massive meal, which is likely the only one we will need for the entire day, and an appetizer, it was only $30.
Excellent spot for Cemitas and other Mexican fare. I had the carnitas (pulled pork) cemita which came on a soft yet thick roll filled with lettuce, tomatoes, pickled onions, Oaxacan cheese, Mayo, and a chipotle sauce. It was delicious! Very balanced sandwich. Savoriness coming through from the pork and Mayo. Chipotle sauce had smokiness to it. Pickled onions added some acidity and the other veggies give it a nice crunch. I come here every time my friend is in town and there is a reason we keep coming back. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is comfortable and the food is soooo good. Oh and they have delicious drinks! I have never been disappointed with anything here.
