“Sort of a dive bar (which I like). The bartenders (owners) were very friendly, as were the customers I interacted with.I had the Chicken Dumpling soup, probably the best I ever had. It was packed with dumplings and they were delicious.I don't live in Cincy, but will go back to Shamrock whenever I'm in town.”

This is a bar serving bar food, which is prepared well. This is not fine dinning with a world renowned chef. Easy to sit behind a keyboard and bash someone's business over and over. “We haven't had such a fantastic experience in a restaurant in so long, I forgot what it feels like. We were promptly seated by the hostess, and she was friendly. Our waitress was great and was very polite and attentive. I'll never get tired of having a refill for my drink set down in front of me before I have to ask. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, and we enjoyed the decor. I was glad we were almost finished when they sat a couple at the table next to ours, because it is a little close and you're right in each other's conversation. I got the salmon bruschetta to start, and it was so good. Everything tasted so fresh, and the flavors blend beautifully. My girlfriend got the French onion soup, and that looked amazing. She said it tasted really good. We both ordered the filet mignon, and she wanted hers medium rare, and I wanted mine cooked medium. While both steaks were excellent, neither one was cooked as requested, and both were pretty rare. I'm going to let that slide, since everything else was so good. The smoked Gouda Mac and cheese is so damn good, I want the recipe. It's very creamy and delicious. The Brussels sprouts with bacon were excellent and I could eat a bowl of just that. We will definitely be back, and totally understand all the accolades now. Two thumbs up.”

“A nice family style restaurant with a good menu. Probably more on the pub fare but they do have some dinner entrees. A little variety for everyone. A good local spot also convenient for travelers and others. Easy access off of I-275 of less than a 1/2 mile from the exit. We've always had friendly service here. The food has always been good.”

“It's really a tragedy that I drove by this place a million times and only stopped in to dine until recently. Don't be as foolish as I was. Portions are substantial, food all tasted great and Nikki was a great server and representative of the establishment. We ordered breakfast and lunch at our table and everyone left more than satisfied, kids/ adults alike. These diners which were plentiful years ago are tragically somewhat of a dying breed so its such a delight to have one in the neighborhood that puts customer satisfaction high on their resume. I can see why they have been there forever and a day.Parking: Limited number of spaces and not the greatest of neighborhoods. Not sure about handicap parking, even though the shop and lot are handicap accessible.Kid-friendliness: It's an ice cream shop. If that isn't kid friendly I don't know what is.Wheelchair accessibility: It's all at ground level. There isn't a step or even an incline to traverse. So should be handicap friendly. Not sure about handicap parking though.”

“This place is genius. Your dogs can run and play with other dogs and you can have a beer and a smash burger. Lee owns the place and he's amazing. He has one rule. Your dogs must be vaccinated and you have to bring a copy of the vaccine record. This is great idea so all the dogs can be safe I will be back to try the food I can't wait”

“The parking lot will tell you all you need to know. It's always packed and if it was bigger even more people would probably come. It is worth the wait though! They offer a rewards program which isn't common with the creamy whips around here so that's a nice added bonus. They are currently running a special where you can take a yard sign and earn a gift card. There are a few food options and the chili is Cincinnati style and delicious. There are a few non dairy options like dole whip and slushies. The best dish I've had here is the Reese Cup parfait. Mine is pictured without whip cream but it comes with it if you like. It has enough flavor without it for me. If you're obsessed with the peanut butter and chocolate combination then you'll love it. Lots of different and unique options for everyone.”

It’s a very peaceful setting.It was busy at lunch time but the service was quick and the food was really good.We ordered a double cheeseburger and fish. They each came with 2 sides. We got green beans, house salad, fries, and onion rings.
