“So last evening(7:15-ish), I went to get my fiance and I sofritas and carnitas bowls because Akron couldn't seem to keep the electric on in the Highland Square area, AGAIN. Anyways, they had a line out the door. I was a cook for 25 years, 2.5 of that at a Chipotle location. The staff here, though young, was focused and constant and did an amazing and extremely professional job. One customer, and you know who you are, was very rude to the cashier who was helping to make an order, switch out pans to bring fresh food out, helping the 1 and only young lady making all the orders.(and to the young lady making the online orders - wow and great job!!!) So to the cashier, good job, thank you, and you should be proud of yourself. The rest of the staff was very solid - though VERY busy - and not expecting that many orders, I'm sure, were calm, polite, and smooth. So, props to y'all too! You see folks, if you've never worked in the food business, you don't get it. It takes a certain type of person to do what they do-so don't be rude because you think you're above them. Remember, us food workers worked every day during the height of the pandemic, were forced to police masks, risk getting sick, and forced to listen to the absurdity and rudeness of people whom think they're privileged, above others, or just plain inconsiderate. As for the rude customer last evening at about 7:30 pm; what if that was your son or daughter working? Hmm? I sure hope you don't talk to your kids, parents, spouse, or grandparents that way.“
“Since everything is relative I’m giving Chipotle a five because the Akron food scene sucks. It’s a symbol of what’s wrong with America-it has every fast “food” trough possible. Chipotle is sold but it’s only a beauty queen because it is next to a bunch of pigs.“
“I want to preface I'm writing this review with not having many positive reviews with Chipotle.My Girlfriend, and I are from Pittsburgh, and we were traveling for a wedding. Stopping at Chipotle we were so satisfied with the staff. Not only did they have every single option available, they took the time to get fresh ingredients and accomodated our dietary restrictions. When we told them we don't eat red meat they made sure we got fresh chicken. White rice with no cilantro, and they actually had great Sautéed veggies. Pittsburgh gotta step they game up lol.Just wanted to give flowers to the positive staff and the cook was chefin it up like it was the grand opening ? “We were 4 minutes early to pick up our to go order. Because of our being early, we had to sit a couple of minutes to wait on our order which was our plan when we headed that way to pick it up...the problem was that my steak and pinto beans were cold as was her chicken bowl. we eat at Chipotle at least twice a week and have never had this happen at any other Chipotle in the country until today..we eat at Chipotle at least once twice a week and it's one of our favorites. Chipotle we love the food, but this has left a bad taste in our mouths for now and it's going to be a minute.“
“Had a catering pick up order here today. I was extremely impressed. The order was ready on time, everything was correct, and the employees were the nicest I've ever encountered in a restaurant. This Chipotle location is excellent. Thank you!“
“Staff were very professional and very efficient. The only negative that did not affect me personally person after me was they ran out of bowls. Leaving people either burritos or tacos as choices. At least one couple left immediately at that point. I also would not have been able to eat because i'm diabetic and can't eat the burrito shells. It was five o'clock on a friday early evening when they ran out.“
